John C. and the Top Armor crew did (basically what amounted to) a whole new roofing system for our flat-roof mid century modern home in late-2022 / early-2023. It was important to us to restore the original roofline (most homes in our style just build up the roof with additional foam layers for adequate drainage and insulation) - and there was significant work for new framing needed to enclose and protect new A/C ducting. John was great about communication throughout the whole process - including the installation of temporary roofing when we encountered some wet weather. Top Armor was up for the challenge and we are very pleased with our new roof.

The first was several years ago when we had a persistent living room leak that another roofer had been unable to stop despite multiple callbacks. Top Armor was able to quickly diagnose and solved the issue. The second was a recent leak around a complicated roofline and skylight that they handled with a thorough assessment, fully explaining their plan, and quality craftsmanship. The crews were professional, thorough, on-time, and very competent. John Condon communicates well, follows through, and his estimates are fair and reasonable.

I highly recommend Top Armor Roofing for residential roof repair in the Goleta / Santa Barbara area. After the heavy storms of Feb/Mar 2023, many folks in my neighborhood discovered roof leaks due to the underlayment reaching its 20-year life span. I hope my neighbors will use Top Armor too. Their quote was the cheapest of our 3 bids, but I was not worried about sacrificing quality because I had a strong recommendation from a trusted friend. Also, their website hosts an impressive portfolio of large commercial projects, which gave me confidence that they stand behind their work. Honestly, I think they were cheapest because they are based in Westlake Village rather than pricey Santa Barbara, where vendors all seem to charge more. Jon Flintoff was our point-person at Top Armor Roofing. He was consistently friendly, professional, and courteous. He answered all my questions about our different roofing options -- cost, lifespan, warranty, etc. His team was punctual and they cleaned up the work site each day. Jon texted me updates and pictures along the way. They used a large team, and therefore they finished the job in 3 days (the other companies quoted 1 week). Re-roofing is very noisy, so 3 days versus 5 makes a BIG difference. Importantly, the job finished on time, the day before some rain rolled in; the team stayed late to finish the job. After the job was finished, Jon handled the city's permitting process; all I had to do was sign. Very convenient! Last March, I was so stressed after our roof sprung leaks. I'm so thankful to Top Armor Roofing that I can rest easy as we approach the next rainy season. Thanks team!

We tried to get someone out to our property (residential) for months, and no one wanted to prioritize our request, or come out for a repair, they all wanted to do full roof installs, etc. Fast forward to getting referred to Top Armor and Jon F reached out right away and scheduled a walk thru to inspect where our leak was and check it out on the roof as well as suggest other things that he saw while up there. They were back a few days after and got everything dialed in for us! I decided to wait for a few good hard rains so i could get my confidence back up, and sure enough everything is dry as a bone and now it's time for me to seal up the ceiling that was damaged in our upstairs bedroom from the original leak :) Thanks Jon and Team!! HAPPY! My roof is Gorgeous! I got several quotes from roofers and they were not the cheapest and not the highest. They were however, the quickest to respond and get a quote and came very highly recommended to me by someone I trust. I am so glad I chose them. John and Jon took their time going over quotes for several different options (I was a total pain making up my mind). They started on time, finished on time and their team was efficient, friendly and very, very clean. Every day they left my house so clean you would never have known they were up there. The price they quoted was exactly what I was billed. They also did 7 skylights which turned out amazing! I am very happy with the service and would absolutely recommend them.

Let's go! I used Top Armor for our roof, and I couldn't be happier. They were fair, professional, and nailed it. They showed up on time, worked hard, and paid attention to the details. Even if something looked wrong and I thought it was ok, John made sure his team got it perfect. The hassle of finding a roofer drove me nuts, I was very pleased with these guys. I shopped around and I can now share with anybody who wants what works and what doesn't! lol Care and pride in one's work really impresses me. I don't like mediocrity. Looked at three different bids. Top Armor was the cheapest. Before signing the contract we looked at three houses in the neighborhood that Top Armor had done. John and his crew are professional and very accommodating to the customers needs. He gave us several options for flashings or creating a roof line without flashings, shingles on the ridge or no. He had many colors to choose from and helped us make the best selection. We set a date and they showed up at 7:00 am and got right to work. The roof looks great and we are very happy.

Jon, Chuck, and their team were a pleasure to work with. I'll admit, getting in contact with Jon to start took a few days (the number listed is his office), but once the quote was made and we accepted the quote, Jon and the project manager, Chuck, were easy to get a hold of and talk to. At final walkthrough, we had noticed some details (clean up) weren't taken care of, but within a few days, Jon was out here himself with another crew member taking care of our concerns. Jon is professional, to-the-point, and is very considerate.
