We had a truly outstanding experience with MVP Remodeling. I reached out to them on 7/7/25 through the California Earthquake Authority's Earthquake Brace and Bolt (EBB) program to request a quote for a seismic retrofit. They got back to me the same day and scheduled a walkthrough for the next day, 7/8. That's when we met Yosef, the business owner -- and from the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, professional, and sincere. He's the kind of person you could talk to all day -- genuine, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his work. He provided a detailed evaluation, explained everything clearly, and we signed the quote that same day because we felt completely confident in him and his team. Throughout the process, Maya handled all the communication related to paperwork, scheduling, and documentation -- and she was fantastic. She was extremely nice, always thorough, and made what could've been a complicated process feel absolutely effortless. Her organization and clarity helped everything move quickly and smoothly. Thanks to their teamwork and efficiency, we completed the necessary steps on the CEA portal in no time. The project was approved within a week, work began mid-month, and it was finished in just two days. The crew was punctual, respectful, and left the work area spotless. I couldn't be happier with the earthquake retrofit done by MVP Remodeling. When I selected the company for the EBB retrofit, they weren't the cheapest estimate, but they were far from the most expensive. Joseph explained the process and scope of work clearly and I was confident that selecting them was the best decision. Beginning the work was delayed as we found I had skunks living in my crawl space and I had to find someone to deal with that problem. My contact person at MVP, Maya, was wonderful throughout. She kept in touch with me and scheduled the retrofit immediately as soon as my skunk situation was resolved. Throughout the process, Maya guided me as to what I needed to do on the EBB Dashboard, and she submitted their materials immediately. It couldn't have gone any smoother! Once the work was completed, MVP had the inspector examine and approve the work the following day, and withing a week I had the EBB check in my hand. I'm so glad I decided to do the retrofit and thrilled that I chose MVP Remodeling for the work.

2024 MVP remodeling did the bolting and strapping for the Earthquake requirements. Maya and Josef did an fantastic job. From start to finish Maya sent pictures and updates as the job progress. They did such a great job we hired them again in 2025 to do our other home. It needed the bolting and strapping for the Earthquake requirments. Plus all 16 existing posts and piers had to be replaced. We live out of state and Maya also kept our manager informed of what stage of the job was in. Everything went very smoothly. Joseph was a big help, he came over right away after contacting them because of a leak that I had in the bedroom, they install a tarp over my roof to prevent anymore damage outside and inside my house. They did an excellent job and were very professional, they picked up all the debris and cleaned all around my home after the job was completed.
