I’ve lived in my house for almost 28 years, and it was time to replace the roof so I could keep my homeowner’s insurance. Mike from Bumble Roofing came out to take a look. He was very personable and did a thorough check of both the attic and roof without high-pressure sales like I got from other companies. He got back to me quickly with a detailed estimate. Once the job got started, my point people Linda Guidos, Deidy Shields, and Bradley, my project manager were all really responsive and kept things moving along smoothly. After the new roof was in, I was upgrading my electrical service, and there was a question about whether the electrician had broken the seal around the electrical mast. Bradley came back out to check it at no additional charge.
My roof was extremely old with the original 1955 roof somewhere under 4 layers. The high winds we had blew several sections of roofing away. I got 5 different quotes. Bumble was actually the highest, however, they also had the most comprehensive total with nearly everything needed included rather than upcharging the way the other companies were going to do. They also worked to their word. On time, fast, cleaned up everyday, let me know exactly what was going on with it. Mike was my contact and he was always a call away. The final roof completely changed the way my home looks. So much better and they did a fantastic job, answering all my annoying questions. Thanks Mike, Linda, Deidy, Jose, Balvino, and all the rest.
I just met Mike who came to check the condition of my roof and to give me a quote to install a new one. He was on time, cordial, informative and very helpful. He kindly tucked in the front drip edge of the roof. which was left hanging by another roofer. Furthermore, he had roof samples ready to show. I appreciated the opportunity to be able to confirm the color I wanted. After inspection, Mike told me the roof was still good for about another year but to start thinking about replacement. Mike was professional, seemed very knowledgeable. He’s been a roofer for 25 years. I will take two more quotes but I believe he’s my pick.
I contacted Bumble roofing because of some issues we've had with a roof replacement that was recently done by another roofing company who was refusing to make the corrections. Oliver, the inspector who came out, was great to work with. He performed an inspection and provided thorough details about his findings, including photos. He also provided guidance on what steps I could take to get the other roofer to come back out and address the repairs that were needed. He seemed very knowledgeable, honest and was very thorough in evaluating the condition of the roof.
Bumble roofing was recommended to me by a good friend of the owner of Bumble David B. The pricing is very reasonable and beat out most the competition in SoCal. Their professionalism and quality of work is second to none. Also note that they contract with Lowe's and the supplies of the roofing materials making them competitive in the market. They handled all the permitting and licensing without any hiccups and does everything by the book and California building codes. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to redo their roof without hesitation.
A tree trimmer dropped a pretty large tree limb on my roof and so I called Lowe's who referred me to Bumble Roofing. I was able to quickly and easily schedule an appt for them to come out to my house. The technician called ahead and said he was able to arrive a bit early, which is always appreciated. He inspected my roof and confirmed that there was no damage / no need for repairs. A+ for honesty. I will definitely bring them back out if and when I need to replace my roof.
I had a great experience with Modern Solution Roofing. They inspected my roof, explained everything clearly, and completed the work on time. The crew was respectful, clean, and very professional. My roof looks excellent, and I feel confident it will last for years. Highly recommend this company
We used BumbleBee Roofing to replace out flat roof for our townhome community. They were the only guys who were able to pull off an affordable quote for us when many other vendors were quoting us at 2.5x the rate for the exact same materials AND additional services such as power wash, end of project clean up services, 10 year warranty, and annual maintenance/checks. If it wasn't for them, our community would have been screwed and unable to afford a new roof & would have had to do constant patch up work praying it would stop the leaks. They have been understanding that our community is very small, struggling with raising funds, and nothing in our reserves. Our community has a lot of tradesmen (not necessarily in roofing) so they were asking a lot of the tough questions that I had to pass along as the HOA President. They were very understanding that I was under a lot of pressure and worked with me to answer their questions., provided daily progress updates, pictures. I want to give a shoutout to Christian, the first project manager who coordinated all the pre-inspections, he somehow managed to get all units to participate in the same day rather it being a 3 day ordeal. I want to give a shoutout to Mike who has been available day & night for my questions from the community & communicating with the head office about our concerns & for doing daily walkthroughs. I also want to give a shoutout to Linda and Diana from head office who have been working together to provide progress updates, and explaining the technical aspects of the project as well as project timelines. The roof looks good first so far but true test right will be getting our first round of rain and making sure we don't have any leaks!! So I'll come back here and provide an update for whenever that happens. In the meantime, Jose kindly mentioned a referral program - if any of you guys like my review, please directly reply to me and I'll directly refer you to BumbleBee roofing. If you are my referral, they'll help make sure your community is taken care of, potentially provide discounts even.
On September 15, 2025, Bumble completed my 3,000 square roof and passed the Oxnard roof inspector's final inspection. Oliver Stasi, Bradley Von Der Linde, Linda Guidos and Martin the installer foreman were extremely helpful. Bumble was the low bidder out of 5 bidders. What was exceptional is Oliver contacted both the Owens-Corning and Oxnard city to confirm my 50 year warranty with keeping my original vents. I retained all of my original vents with the addition of 10 low profile vents. I was able to retain my 5 moon vents, 5 wind turbine vents, window dormers and large vents near the top of my building. Linda Guidos coordinated the roof permits, inspections, and color options. Oliver advised on what was the best material to install. On Olivers advice, I installed metal valleys at no extra cost. According to the Oxnard roof inspector Martin did a great roofing installation. What is more important than the 50 year warranty is the quality of installation rather than the warranty. My experience is that warranties are difficult and troublesome to collect. Therefore the quality of installation and materials is most important. Bumble is an Owens-Corning preferred contractor holding the top level rating of Platinum . Only Owens-Corning Proffered contractors are allowed to give 50 year warranties. I think I got good value for the money. The entire old roof removal and new roof installation was completed in a week. Bumble responded promptly to all emails and calls. I used Bumble through Lowes, the hardware store. I paid Lowes for oversight of Bumble work. Basically I got 3 warranties- Bumble, Lowes and Owens-Corning. Extremely satisfied. I would recommend Lowes with Bumble for roof repairs and new roofs.
BUMBLE ROOFING IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. TEN STARS. Highly organized, quality of work, professionalism, and TIMELY. My roof was damaged due to HIGH mph winds. MICHAEL, the Project Manager arrived the very next morning and plans for repair started IMMEDIATELY. LINDA, Bumble's Production Manager set-up city permits and inspections that very same day. Estimates were fair and affordable. Michael and Linda kept me informed every step of the way. After the shingles were removed it was clear my roof needed some wood replacement, my house was built in 1950. I was more than impressed with the carpentry repair, and the NUMBERS of procedures BUMBLE implemented to complete a HIGH-quality roofing job. 6 Crew members each have their own expert specializations, a delight to observe, they share responsibilities and work as a TEAM carefully and neatly. I have never seen such harmony and high organizational skills among ALL employees, LINDA, MICHAEL, the roof crew, getting the job done while informing me EACH and every of every step-of-the-way with photos and updates. Michael, the Project Manager was on site each day, and Linda, the Production Manager kept me informed DAILY. BUMBLE provides a group of PROFESSIONALS who work VERY hard, efficiently and meticulously for a common goal. A GOOD JOB. I am very happy. A pleasant experience. My roof looks FABULOUS. 1-story single family home + garage needed roof replaced before Solar installation. Bumble was recommended by one of the local Solar Installers. I got multiple bids and not only did Bumble's bid come in lowest, my contacts, Gabriel Cortes, Linda Guido and Diana Rodriguez were very responsive and thorough in their communication and their onsite project manager, Christian, and his crew worked very effectively in completing my project on time. For me, cost was an overriding factor, so I was definitely ok with giving them flexibility in scheduling. Full roof replacement requires two city inspections, so that gave me an extra layer of quality oversight. This project was going to be complicated by the extra layers of shingles that needed to be removed and the need to remove the wood shake underlayment. I felt they properly explained the need for a change order due to what was found during demolition - which I promptly approved at an increased cost. Roof demolition is extremely messy, but they did clean up quite well and made sure to pick up any stray nails around the buildings. I always mentally prepare for some things to go wrong on such a big project, but everything went well. While it's still months away from the rainy season, Bumble Roofing has given me confidence that they will work with me if any issues arise.
Because I was going Solar, I decided to get a new roof. I chose the best roof in order to take advantage of a government rebate of 30%. The materials are "Cool Roof" category and technology in spite of a charcoal or blackish color. The solar panels seem to disappear visually, giving it a lush appearance. The supervisors checked on the work and progress daily, so all seemed to flow effortlessly. Any member of the installation team that was not pulling their weight, was removed. The neighborhood compliments have continued and I am thrilled with the end product! I would recommend Bumble Roofing without hesitation for the materials, workmanship and value given to the job. They took great care and even covered my pool, which really didn't need it....better safe than sorry. I cannot say enough good things about their work. Mention my name, Deborah W., if you decide to go with them, based on any of my review.
When I started to look for bids for my new roof, I found that many roofers use a P.0. box or their homes as a mailing address. Good luck in trying to find their location if you are looking for, or need them. After obtaining several estimates, I was fortunate to obtain a very competitive bid from Bumble Roofing. Their offices and people were very professional, and the work was outstanding. They kept in constant contact with me during the installation, with messages and progress pictures, until the job was complete. They provided specific contact information for the scheduling person, the facilitator, the project and site managers, accounting, etc. Upon completion, they cleaned the site, and power washed the driveway. As a professional property manager that has managed many properties across the country, I can honestly say that Bumble roofing is the best roofing company I have ever used.
Yet another example of the stellar service from this company. We're converting a detached garage into an ADU, and that required running vents through the roof. To maintain the warranty, Bumble alerted me up front that they'd need to send someone out to inspect the work, for a reasonable charge, to ensure it didn't create any problems with the roof integrity. The first time Mike came, the roof hadn't been penetrated yet, so it really wasn't possible to assess the work. Mike said he'd come back out at no additional cost once the vents were in, to ensure all was good. And just as before, the turnaround was remarkable. I called yesterday afternoon, he was here early this morning. Not just super timely, but very friendly as always! This company "gets" making and keeping customers happy over time, not just during the roofing process. It's a great corporate ethos that's far too rare.
My old roof was over 40 years old. I had no leaks but it was weathered and looks as if it was falling apart little by little. There are so many contractors but I whittled down to Bumble. Bumble had decent reviews, did not pressure me, very thorough in their presentation plus I liked the pic/video of Mr. Bitan. The guys were excellent, they did not leave a mess and were focused on the job, to me safety is important, I am not interested in the "Run run run" mentality. I was quite pleased on the results of my roof, no leaks nothing even with all the rains we have been experiencing. As a customer make sure they replace the cover on furnace vent or water heater vent lest there may be issues. My roof is now "Snug as a bug in a rug" and I plan on getting the roof on my rental replaced before Summer. I do not want the guys roasting.
I had a leak in flat roof area, started getting bunch of vendors with great reviews on Yelp, estimates (most are amazing, honest, educational, had hard time to make decision), realized I better fix whole roof bc of other issues. I ended up bumble and had amazing experience all thru. I'm kind of person who needs to read & understand fully b4 signing contract, but ESL, so I had so many questions/clarification b4 signing, owner David was super patient enough to explain every Qs i had. I usually don't get this but most who deal w this process, gets tired of dealing w me, many times ghosted or attitude changes. (#lifeofEsl) But he didn't. Communication was clear. Crew was cool. Professional. Originally 5 days, they actually finished in 4 days! Roof looks great and all cleaned. I strongly recommend Thank You bumble crew!!!
Bumble Roofing did a phenomenal job from start to finish when refinishing my roof. I live in a "Historic Neighborhood" which generally requires extra permits and paperwork, and everyone at Bumble went out of their way to help navigate and get all the required permits in a timely manner. All the workers were incredibly respectful, and were very good about not making a huge mess. Gabriel did a fantastic job getting me an estimate, and was extraordinarily knowledgeable with specific pricing needed for our roof. Linda was always very helpful in the overall coordination and was on top of responses with haste. We have had a fairly considerable amount of rain since our roof was done, and have had zero issues in the areas where there was leaking prior. I would highly recommend Bumble, and couldn't imagine a better experience. A++++
I got my roof replaced in the rainy season right as our roof began leaking. Bumble was out next day after it rained to inspect and get the process rolling. I imagined there would be a delay because it had just rained so hard in LA and a lot of people were in the same position I was. They got to work that same week. The project took exactly as long as they said it would and everything went smoothly. Most importantly, shortly after they finished, another very strong rain storm came through and the roof was perfect. I went up in my attic to make sure there were no leaks and everything was dry. Bumble got me out of a bad situation really quickly and the work was perfect. Their bid came in the lowest of the quotes I got too. I will recommend them to anyone I talk to that needs a new roof. THANK YOU BUMBLE!
30 days after I bought my house it rained and I had an indoor water fountain in my kitchen and 2nd restroom. I contacted Bumble and they gave me a fair quote. When they got on top of the roof, and started removing the old roofing they discovered the previous owner added 7-layers of roofing (one layer after the other). The Project Mgr noted he couldn't believe my roof didn't collapse from the weight that was up there. Every layer they had to remove added to the cost but I literally had $0 after purchasing my house and being forced to get a new roof. I have no parents or family to borrow money from but Bumble was understanding and worked with me to lower the cost/added some discounts to find a way to make everything work. I appreciate their compassion during such a difficult time.
We were a casualty of the Palisades Fire. Even though our home still stands we had some fire on a big palm tree in the back yard that could have affected our roof. We called Bumble to give us a roof inspection. They fortunately have their tech down. After booking their services for a date and time they texted and emailed me with updates on who was coming out and confirming the date and time. I don't know about you but I find this refreshing and professional. Bradley Van Der Linde, our Bumble inspector, called the morning of to introduce himself and confirm the appointment. Again, refreshing. Bradley showed up right on time and did a thorough inspection. He took the time to explain that the roof was in good condition and that we should not worry. Very calming.
We needed a roof inspection done to assess current or future needs. Went with Oliver and Bumble Roofing after talking with a few other companies. Oliver was happy to discuss the need, the project, and the process. He was clear with his experience and made an effort to answer any question I had. Customer service was top notch - easy to access, quick and responsive, clear communication, and on time. We received the report which was detailed and thorough, we appreciated the honesty - some things were pressing and others less so. We received the report very quickly with a lot of information and photos to back up his assessment. We will be discussing and reviewing to figure out next steps. Ultimately, no pressure from Bumble. Just honest and thorough work.

Just finished using Bumble Roofing to replace my old leaky roof. From the start they made it super easy, answered all my questions and on top of that gave me the best quote. They also offer incredible warranties so that also factored into using them. They got all the city permits needed, started work and hammered it out in less than 2 weeks, mind you some days were extremely hot yet crew and project manager were consistently at my house finishing the job. Throughout the whole process I was constantly kept in the loop on where we were, timeframes etc, they are a well oiled machine. So glad I chose them and would highly recommend. Done a lot of work on my house and this was by far my best experience.
Bubble roofing is amazing. A stand out among roofers. Their bid for my roof came in below other companies, they completed the work in 2 days, did the job only 5 days after my initial call (at a very busy time) and above all did excellent work which they stand behind 100%. They also left the home outside cleaner than they found it, something many contractors fail to do. Unlike other companies they really seem to value their customers and bend over backwards to accommodate them. We even got a nice thank you care package from them in the mail after the work was complete. I'm very pleased with the value, the speed of work and the quality of the work. I highly recommend Bumble Roofing.
Before driving across a Bumble yellow truck I was in line to hire a different roofer, who I thought highly of (named withheld), and whom I recommended to a friend. HOWEVER that roofer played price games with my dear friend, and at one point asked for several hundred dollars for a stack of left over wood. So I took a chance on Bumble and wasn't dissapointed. Obviously replacing a roof is not easy work; but these guys stepped in and did a steller job. Their were a few bumps, which is why I always say "double, and even tripple check a contractors work." This is especially true as I am disabled. Would I hire Bumble again? Yes.

They did my roof maybe 3 years ago and I recently decided to replace my skylight because it's about to break and it was somewhat leaking. Once we were in communication, they were able to schedule two people to come and install the skylight for us in two days. The actual work took about two hours and 20 mins approximately. We had the materials ourselves and they were flexible to just install them for us and just charge us the installation fee, which was also very fair. The ppl who installed the skylight were also very on time which is a plus for me.
What a smooth process. They have a great communication system. Mike, the project manager we had was always available for questions and if there were any issues or concerns, he was on it immediately. Gabriel and Diana helped me with any concerns we had. We interviewed 5 companies and they were the most reasonable in price and their contracts were most detailed and clearly written. No hidden fees at all! The only issue I had was the clay or cement they used to seal was done a tad sloppy/ messy. Too late to fix that. I would use them again for sure.
I would recommend this company highly. The service has been outstanding especially when unplanned and unexpected problems arose on our flat roof. . Let's face it, when undergoing any type of construction, things don't always go as planned and problems occur. We had and are having such problems and This company has been incredibly quick to respond to help us. Jonathan and Armando have been our project managers and they have been great. Jose who they report to has been incredibe As well. high marks for customer service. Highly recommended. Dave A

I hired Bumble roofing to do a roof for a $15,000,000 home in Beverly Hills. Their website refers to 100A% satisfaction guarantee and how they do great work. The general contractor who ran the job said their work was deplorable. Regardless of the fact that they passed inspection, the work was deplorably done. We did some additional work by plumbers and the AC contactor. When I suggested to the general contractor that we have Bumble do more work, he refused to allow them to do it. Regardless of the additonal work, the original install was horrible. We even sent them pictures and had to take them to the state contractors license board. Their excuse that the additonal work was the reason for the poor install was insulting and idiotic. We gave them the chance to make it right but they refused and would not give us a penny even though we had to spend an additonal $36000 to redo the roof. About 1/3rd of that expense was to deal with the additonal "penetrations" in the roof, they never accepted responsibility for the poor workmanship on the initial install. I was shocked as I trusted them. My attorney helped me file a complaint with the contractors board. We are going aftr their bond and will have to sue them to collect money owed to us. They talk a good story but the work was incredibly bad. I warned them that unless they made financial restitution, I would be forced to write this review to protect other homeowners and builders like myself from going through the same bad experience. I am dealing with cancer and had a heart attack last year and did not need this grief and aggravation. Select another roofer as you will have the same issues
I contacted Bumble roofing after reading good reviews. They sent a very nice gentleman out to inspect an issue. He got the appt time mixed up but I was still able to accommodate. After diagnosing the problem, he told me it would be early the following week before I’d get a written estimate as this was a Friday. I’m still waiting and that was over 2 weeks ago. I’m moving on but they aren’t very reliable from my experience. .
Horrible experience. Mainly due to solar panel installation problems, and the issues with relocating panels. But the roofing company had to be called on multiple occasions for facia boards and roofing. Trash left all over on every occasion they were at house. I do not recommend. Still finding roofing nails from the job - 1 year later. Plus - roof isnt leaking.
Horrible company that negligently damaged my driveway during the project using a 35,000 pound skidder machine to load a pallet of roofing supplies. If you want a roofing company that will care for your property while re-roofing your home and not try to absolve themselves by blaming the homeowner for their negligence, find a better company.
guy who came for estimate was very rude the way he walked out on me like that, straight disrespect
Update - the company finally responded to my email after this post. They are claiming that it was my responsibility to protect the driveway per the contract. So be warned they will say they aren't responsible for negligence. The contract does not protect the business from negligence of bringing a 35,000 pound machine to load a pallet of roofing supplies. Even the contractor brought in for the initial fix said it was crazy for anyone to use a 35k lbs machine that caused the damage to load roofing materials for the job. Definitely stay away from this business if you want to avoid the hassle of a company who will blame the customer for their own negligent damages to property during the job. -- Would not recommend this business. The roofing work was good but they damaged my driveway and have not fixed the full issue. It took almost a year before the work started because they were coordinating with a solar company to do a coordinated install of solar trusses on the roof before installing the roof - that was the first red flag and it was a disaster as the solar company was not responsive and took forever to do the permits. When January 1, 2023 rolled around they said "you won't believe this but we have to do the permits again because it is a new year" and I waited and waited. Finally coordinated with Bumble to just do the roof install in September 2023. That's how bad their scheduling is. The folks doing the roof were great and courteous but when it came to the supplies there was a large skiff that was brought in to bring materials and leave it on the roof. It cracked my driveway with the most damage being done on the edge. See picture. The company immediately blamed their subcontractor and I pointed out that their own employees were making it worst by driving on and off over the damage. By then the crack had crumbled and gotten worst. Everything including the roofers were all caught on video. The subcontractor asked to pay me 2k cash and have me sign a release then let me pay the other person to fix it. I said no they need to work with the concrete person to fix it not me and that I would not sign anything until the issue was fixed. So another contractor came in and fixed about 10x13 of where the significant damage was but not the cracks throughout the driveway that were not crumbling. I gave the concrete contractor a good review as he was only focusing on the significant damage and I have been asking bumble for updates since November on when they will fix the rest of the drive way as I was not happy. I paid the balance in full and they have stopped responding to my repeated emails since December 1. I am still awaiting their reply and mitigation to this issue. Do not recommend using them if they cannot fix their own mistakes - if you are looking for someone to disappear and try to blame a subcontractor- bumble will bumble their way around the job and is your choice.
The initial service in 2021 was great. The contracting process was smooth, everyone who we worked with, from Nathan to David was professional, and all the techs we interacted with were friendly. And then it rained. Part of our roof was a lake. The part of our roof that wasn't a lake started leaking. Bumble came out to repair that damage (after trying to claim it was our fault first) and that started leaking too. We are now having our house remediated for water damage and mold a SECOND time. Even if they were willing to honor their warranty (which they aren't), we are now actively considering replacing our roof completely because they did as little as they could get away with the first time (COVID probably had something to do with this) and our trust in their company is totally shot. Edited to add: This is how they treat their customers when something goes wrong. The "vent" David is referring to is about 10 feet away from where the roof is leaking. Our contractor fixed that right away.
This review is based solely on the original quote that I received from Bumble roofing. I had a leak where another roofer pinpointed the leak which was located in scupper drain that led to downspouts. That roofer did not want to take the job as it was not big enough job (it's crazy right now). Bumble inspector showed up, took pictures of outside (front and back) did NOT climb on roof to inspect the leakage and left in 5 minutes. I then received a quote to replace a portion of roof that was no where near the leak (along with settelite picture that they got from google maps) and wanted $12k to replace it. When I replied to the quote with a picture of water test (my own picture) and asked if they would be able to assist, I never heard back. Then I received a follow up email for steps to take in order to move forward with job?!? Clearly I will pass
I made an appointment to meet an estimator at the house for a roof replacement. When the time came, he was a NO SHOW. I arranged a second appointment because I was told there was no record of the first. The staff member I spoke to wasn't even aware there was more than one telephone number to reach them at. Again waited and again a NO SHOW. Totally unprofessional. Not even the decency to say they don't want or need your business. A company of "bumblers" befits Bumble Roofing. Don't be fooled by the "5-star" ratings.
I did so much research when picking a company to go with, and really thought I had made the best choice. Long story short, their work was sloppy, they made mistakes and had to come out twice to fix them ( because the first time they came to fix them they quickly tried to install an exposed valley but didn't do it right ) They left nails all over our property that we would find daily- and we have small children. Overall our experience was sadly not what we had hoped for.
I will cut to the chase. The company has been sold to a company out of state. This made dealing with scheduling and follow up very challenging. The estimate wasn't exorbitant but was on the high end. I was willing to pay it if they would tarp my roof in preparation of the upcoming rains if I contracted with them. I was informed they don't tarp unless they created the hole demonstrating poor customer service. Find another company.
I wanted to like Bumble, but I never received the estimate for a new roof. It's been a week since they were here. They came and took measurements, but they told me it would take them a few days to get back to me with the bid. They were the only company of 5 that couldn't give me an estimate for the job on the spot. I reached out to them a week later and they have not responded. I guess they didn't want my business.
Workers are very unprofessional, show up to your property unannounced. The workers smoked and left cigarette butts all over the place. Didn't clean up after themselves, I'm still finding nails all around my house. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Horrible scam company! It starts with Al. The super salesman. $34,000 for the roof. Honestly looks like kids did the job. The finish product is horrible. They will not fix the poor work nor even respond to email or phone calls. Buyer beware!
We contacted bumble to give us an estimate on a roof replacement. We let them know we did not need the garage roof done since it was less than a year old as we had just converted it to an ADU. With the discounts offered, their price was competitive so we signed their proposal. Strangely, a few days later they said they wanted to "take another look" at our roof and go in the attic. We don't have an attic (vaulted ceilings). They also wanted to take more measurements because the original proposal included the garage. Either way, someone came out again and we were sent a new proposal. The new proposal was $1100 more than the original! The only difference between the original and new proposal was an increase in demo/haulaway and a decrease in the square footage. I contacted bumble for clarification and was told "The main reason for the price increase is due to the discovery of another layer of roofing, bringing the total to 2 layers of roofing. The secondary reason is due to the new discovery in roof pitch, as we have learned that a second layer of underlayment will be needed due to the roof pitch. The project will involve both removing and installing more materials than originally quoted, even with the decrease in square footage." So how was all of this missed in the original estimate/proposal? How convenient a second layer was "discovered" after a proposal was signed. It felt like a bait and switch. Ultimately, we went with a different company.
They got the job done, but there were a few hiccups along the way. It was easy to get a quote and their pricing was fair. However, they did not know that LA county required cool shingles so I had to upgrade the shingles after signing the contract (about $700 more) which delayed getting the permit. Once the job started, I did not hear from the project manager, but no big deal, the roofers came early, left late and worked all day in the hot sun. It was not until day 4 that I realized they were putting in the wrong valleys (I chose metal valleys). Apparently the supplier left out the supplies, the project manager did not communicate to the foreman and they didn't post the permit/work order on the door. The roofers had to stop work while they got it sorted out from the supplier and project manager. They had to remove some of the installed portions and redo them. Hopefully these areas dont leak in the future. The end product looked nice with low profile vents. At the end Armando came for a walk-around and cleaning which I appreciate. I had to do very minor adjustment to the flashing and sealed a few nails after they were done. One thing I was not expecting was all the debris that fell in to the attic after roofing so I hire an attic crew to come clean up.
We had some damage on our roof when a raccoon tried to break into our attic which was a minor fix but due to the estimated age of the roof I figured it might be worth getting the whole roof replaced. I had a few companies come by to give us assessments and they told us the roof (other than the damaged part) is in good shape and has at least 5 more years before we need to consider replacing it. The estimator from Bumble did not give us the same assessment, instead he said that its "our call" if we think the roof needs replacing. It was a very odd experience getting an estimate from them as the estimator did not seem very knowledgeable and was focused on selling us a re-roof job that wasn't necessary.
My overall experience with Bumble Roofing is decent. The new roof turned out nice, but the road to completion was bumpy. List of the things that didn't go well: 1) Before the project started, I gave advance notice that satellite TV dish and internet cables were on the roof or near the top of the roof. Yet both cables got cut or damaged during demolition. Had to get the internet and cable company to do repairs. 2) I was told there was nightly cleanup after demolition. It did not happen on the first night of the demo and the floor was littered with nails and broken shingles. Dangerous for people and drive/park cars at night. 3) Most concerning, the cement divider between our property and neighbor's property got damaged, which Bumble Roofing attributed to their supplier's delivery truck being at fault. This led me to delay giving the last payment until their supplier fixed the broken concrete divider. As I don't have any contact info or relationship with their supplier. This resulted in follow up emails from Bumble Account to pay up, and they reference the fine print in their contract. So be careful read before signing their template contract.

Hello, I recently experienced some water intrusion in my home after the latest rainstorm. Seeking reputable and reasonably priced service providers, I turned to Yelp and found Bumble Roofing, whose outstanding reviews caught my attention. My experience with them fully lived up to their reputation. The team arrived promptly for our appointment and demonstrated a high level of professionalism and knowledge. Their pricing was competitive, and I appreciated their no-pressure approach throughout the process. They also took the initiative to follow up with me in a timely manner to address any additional questions I might have had. Although I ultimately did not move forward with their services—only because my insurance company is still processing my claim—I would not hesitate to recommend Bumble Roofing to others. Should the need arise in the future, I would gladly work with them based on the positive experience I had.
