Thomas came out within a few days of my request for quote on a new air & heat unit/air handler install. He is very efficient and knowledgeable. Offered a couple of options leaving detailed quotes within 20 minutes right there on the spot. Thomas called within a few days to follow-up. Follow-up... Imagine that! This company was the only one out of three companies to follow-up after providing quotes. As of today, twelve days later, I am still to hear from the other two! Anyhow, ABC Air agreed with my schedule for the install 10 days after the original quotes. The 3-man crew, Luis, Bruce, and Jafar were just amazing. They demonstrated their fine skills and efficiently worked together. Very tidy and cleaned up like it never even happened in about 7 hours! The crew did not have the proper replacement breaker but guess what? Thomas arrived 30 minutes after the crew finished to install. Wow, thank you for the awesome experience with this big investment.
I had a dryer duct that got broken inside a wall. Needed to rework/replace about 16 feet overall between laundry room, cross section of ceiling then up through attic to second story roof vent. It took 3 trips due to some communication issues and the understanding of secondary lint box/trap. In the end we mutually decided that this second lint trap was not really useful here since it was designed for surface mounting and not for inside the wall itself. So that lint box was removed and the duct reconnected. Overall the final outcome was a vast improvement. They added a dryer box recessed into the wall for better dryer to wall connection and the duct work was mounted in a way to avoid direct contact with wood studs and other materials. Also they moved the dryer electrical receptacle up due to the dryer box size.
Eddie came out to look at our old unit and recommend different brands for replacement. He filled us in on three different brands that he recommends and told us which is arguably the best. He informed us that they would replace EVERYTHING, down to the concrete pad, the plywood under the air handler, and the entire air intake duct. Some other installers would reuse all of these old parts and not put in the due diligence. They delivered on everything he said they would do plus more. They even re-sealed and repainted the area under the air handler. They did a phenomenal job. I didn’t catch the names of the two gentleman who installed the new unit but they were quick, efficient and very professional. The total install only took about 8 hours. Overall a great experience with ABC. I would definitely recommend.
First of all, this company got me on the schedule the same day I called which I was happy about. But they did one better. They called and said they could show up even earlier if I was available and since it was the coldest day of the year and I didn’t have any heat, I was really grateful for that. My technician, Tommy, is a guy who knows his stuff. He was able to diagnose the problem almost immediately. And he repaired it really fast too. But the thing that impressed me most about him was that it’s very obvious he truly cares about his customers. Unfortunately, you don’t see a lot of that these days so it was very refreshing to have a technician who sincerely cares about his customers and his work. Thank you for a great job today.
Jean and his partner started my installation at 8:45am and finished at 9:50pm, they never stopped working. Jean ate his dinner while he worked. My air handler is located in our garage ceiling in a horizontal position and in my opinion this was not a straight forward install. I am very satisfied with the neatness and appreciative of the time he devoted to insure everything was neat and that the immediate working area cleaned up after a 12 hour day. I hope someone from ABC Air will contact me on Monday so I can share a few other comments. I would not hesitate to have Jean do any type of work in my home as he is a detailed craftsman. Please know that it was his birthday day too.
Absolutely the best HVAC company I'm the city!! Herb, Brandon, Trip, and Corey are the best in the land!! Let me tell you, they were able to put in a brand new system for us, new duct work throughout the entire house, and install a new thermostat that works with our phones!! So amazed by the work they put in!! They are literally my friends at this point!! Could not be happier with the service we received!! Rachel with financing is an absolute pleasure to work with! We had issues with the blower motor on our downstairs unit. Other companies were attempting to sell us on entirely new systems, but our ABC technician (Mark) was able to diagnose and fix the issue for a fraction of the cost of full replacement. It was clear he had our best interest (getting cold air!) in mind and wasn't simply trying to sell us on something that wasn't needed. We were also under a time crunch to get the issue fixed and Kayla and Andrea in the front office stayed on top of our parts order and service to get the issue resolved for us ASAP. 100 stars of I could. I recently had a bad coil in my HVAC system, and ABC Air and Heat Company took care of everything perfectly. Thomas Johnson was our service technician, and he did an amazing job replacing the coil, which was still under warranty. Throughout the process, the company kept me updated on when the new coil would be delivered and when the installation would take place. The customer service was exceptional—above and beyond what I expected. I highly recommend ABC Air and Heat for their professionalism, excellent communication, and top-notch service. Thank you ABC
Recently purchased a news Ac unit from ABC. Eddie was great with the quote, went over everything in detail, answered any questions I had. On installation today Carlos and D showed up right on time (given 8-10 window, showed up at 7:57am) they also answered all my questions and did a great job! There was one issue with a factory piece on unit, and management is coming first thing tomorrow to replace. Overall great experience, great people and great prices! We got 6-8 quotes and ABC had the better products at the best price! Even worked in the rain!
Patrick was knowledgeable and professional. He discovered a flaw in the way my AC unit had been and recommended that it be re-attached for proper air flow. Three teams of friendly but seriously hardworking guys showed up in the morning and, by the end of the day, they had completely replaced the old duct system in my home, redesigned the air flow for better distribution throughout the house, and they replaced the grills in all the rooms. I won’t hesitate to call them the next time I have a problem with my AC. I would highly recommend this company.
Dagan was very efficient and professional. He did an overall inspection and tune up on our 15 year old air conditioner and did not charge us anything over the quoted price for a tuneup. This company did a great job installing my new and needed AC unit. I had an old unit from the 80s and I thought there was gonna be problems but everything went together quickly without any major problems. I am so thankful for the installers as they were very professional and did an excellent job! They even took the time to create a level foundation to my sinking slab. Thank you so much for everything!

Came out same day after ours fixed unit. The technician was professional highly skilled and a really nice guy, someone i could be friends with. Capacitor for compressor was failing. Capacitors are not cheap.

Tommy showed up right on time on a Sunday, Church day August 31st 2025. I really appreciate his work skills and related to the troubleshooting of the root cause of the water flow every few months, we have tried multiple sources and experts, but he gave a clear path to resolve. his work ethic is high , he is honest, straightforward...straight forward. This kind of person in this industry, we should appreciate. In todays world it is rare to find such people. Please pass this to the Upper management. Absolutely recommended for knowledgeable, professional and timely service. ABC (Patrick) came over to fix problems created by another service provider who replaced my old busted unit with a bigger unit, in the process messing up the airflow to the entire house and causing the whole system to function as if it was possessed by the devil or controlled by a prankster. The guys who installed the unit of course were 'too busy' to come solve the problem they created. ABC scheduled and kept to their appointed date and time, Patrick spent a really long time investigating all the issues and even put in place a temporary solution so we could 'test drive' the recommendation before committing to the changes. Things worked exactly as he described and he came back to implement the final solution, again on time and with the utmost professionalism.
Patrick was recommended to me by my previous Air Conditioning Specialist who was on his way to retirement and after my first discussion with Patrick I realized why. He took the time to hear my situation out and was quick to offer a solution that was actually affordable and that could be done in a timely matter. Since then, any time I have an issue with my home I call Patrick. Even if it's something unrelated to my air conditioning unit, I know that if he can't help me, he will recommend someone that is equally as reliable and dependable as he. Bottom Line: Give Patrick with ABC Air Conditioning and Heating Specialist a call and you will soon find yourself with a mind at ease.
Had this company come out 3 years ago to install a new unit. Inquired with 3 other companies who were less expensive (some for better units) and chose ABC based on reviews and reputation. The owner, Eddie seemed tired and unenthusiastic when I met with him, but again, chose them based on reputation. When the unit was initially installed, they ordered the wrong furnace to match the ac unit and said someone would be by the following Monday to get the furnace working (refer to the pictures for the rig job)..Monday came and nobody showed or called. I texted Eddie several times without a response and texted him a final time to let him know i would have a lawyer handle it..got a call from the office right away. When the co owner came out, I asked him why the unit was blowing cold air out of the back. His response “oh, the guys probably forgot to tape it”. Long story short, this is the 3rd summer since and every single one has been miserable. The unit runs 24/7 to barely keep 78. I had two other companies come out and both said that due to the vaulted ceiling and total volume of cooling space, I should have gotten a higher Seer unit. Not sure why the owner, Eddie didn’t account for that. Maybe he was too tired? Definitely don’t recommend this company. Just another large company with too many accounts to properly service. Thanks Eddie for the mediocre installation of the wrong unit. Also note the poor job they did cosmetically..the other companies also said that was totally unacceptable. The unit in the back is also installed backwards so the wires face the yard. Guess it was easier for them to hookup rather than do it right. Pretty pathetic. Stay away from this company.
Had my system maintenance by the company & was system was working fine. After they serviced it, my AC system would not come back on. Called the company & was told someone would return around 10-12 pm. The person who serviced the system called to troubleshoot but to no avail. He wanted to come the next morning to revisit the issue but I informed him that my system was working fine before he arrived and he needed to return to fix the issue but never did. I waited until after 12 midnight for someone from the company to either call or come fix my system but to no avail. I got a call around 8 am the next day informing me that the person who should have come by gt caught up with another job even though they did not call to inform me. My family had the spend the most of the day with NO AC ON THE ONE OF THE HOTTEST DAYS OF THE YEAR! The company did not seem too concerned with this issue or the needs of my family and made no effort to make things right for a problem that their technician created! Stay away from this company with bad customer service & lack of empathy!
Stay way from that company. I was getting my house remodeled and was dealing with a lot of vendors around May 2023 and this company was one of them. I decided to go with another company for the AC work. In January 2024 the GC called me to inform me that ABC air has reached out to him because they have a refund for me. I called and the person who picked up the phone told me the lady who called about my account was out and she would call me back. Now May 2024 I called letting them know this person did not contact me and never received my refund. She then told me we were checking if you were still doing the work, we don't give refunds. My husband already informed them in June 2024 that we were doing the work with another company. I think information change based on who you get on the phone and I want consistency. We did not sign a contract yet as their team was just meeting with the GC about the work. If you value your hard earned money just avoid them. I can't speak on the quality of their work. Yes your team can email us the contract and the call.
DO NOT USE!!!!! Liars! My original service appointment was scheduled for Monday between 5pm-7pm which got pushed down a bit later because the technician was running late from another job. They wanted to come after 8pm which I said I would prefer to reschedule for the following day being Tuesday. They scheduled me for 11am-2pm. On Tuesday I called at 1pm to confirm that we are still good because no one came to the home. The lady informed me that my appointment is for 3pm-7pm. I advised her that the information is not what I agreed to. She advised me that they had a technician call out sick so they rescheduled my appointment. I was never notified of this rescheduling situation. She further told me that I would need to pay up front $90 because I have a tenant landlord situation going on which is inaccurate because I own my home and live with my family. She insisted that I rented my place out to family which is none sense that she seems to have made up out of thin air. Unprofessional and inconsiderate.
We definitely were happy to find someone that could come out same day, especially a Sunday. The technician went to the AC unit, hooked his diagnostic device in and then said he wouldn’t even touch it because it’s so old and that we just need to replace the entire unit. We asked if there was anything to be done in the meantime to see if we could get some cool air inside. He said no, he wouldn’t even bother adding Freon because it needs a special kind that’s hard to come by due to the units age. We appreciated the straight forward recommendation, paid the same day fee of $115 and he left. Another company we had called prior happened to come out an hour later. They were able to fix the unit within 30 minutes. Overall, happy ABC could come out same day but definitely feel like we were ripped off and recommended a new unit just for the sake of it.
Overpriced. They quote me a new outside unit for $3800. I was able to get it somewhere else installed with $2800. They overcharged with the diagnostic test as well. They charged $190 just to tell me there a leak in the compressor!! . Edit after business reply: I did not comment on the service fee refund because you basically charged me the service fee twice by mistake so refunding it was basic!, not like an extra step from the business. I should have included this as another reason for giving you one star. Double charging the customer and the need to call you guys couple times for a refund is very inconvenient. I still believe that the unit price is way overpriced and the diagnostic test is overpriced compared to others.
We are now on our third issue in as many years. The tech (from another company) asked for the name of this one because of how bad the wiring was done on our system. We are now over up to $3500 repairing this (not including the cost of the initial product and install). I’m not sure how this company has such high reviews, but please go elsewhere for a new machine. Edit: The heating issue was the result of a faulty installation resulting in a $900 utility bill which was only partially covered by this company. After our second issue the following year, we decided not to use this company any longer.

I went on their web site and detailed what I wanted when asking for a quote for a 80 gallon hybrid water heating system. The office called and Scott confirmed with me that it was an 80m gallon tank I wanted and that they did not do Solar. He said that someone would call me and set a time to give an estimate. When the sales guy showed up I stated that I would clear the coving above my tank if needed for the new tank 80 gallons. He went out to the truck came back with handwritten notes and all I was concerned about was the price as this was the 4th quote I was getting. Their price was a little higher than the one I was going to use but their time was 6 weeks out. so, I asked him to put it on a contract with the warrantee on it. He came back and had the price and the down payment of 400.00 on it and the warrantee but did not say parts and labor, I asked him to fix it, then he did not have the down payment and new balance due on it, so I asked him to put that on it. I did not notice that it said 50-gallon tank and since the start of dealing with the ABC I Said 80-gallon tank, but I did not catch this. The tech showed up and started the install and I came out a few hours later and noticed it was NOT an 80-gallon tank, after talking to the sales guy and the office, they wanted another 957.00 dollars to change it to 80 gallons. I asked for a discount or something and for them to do the right thing and per the sales guy, he was told by the management to just get his money and get off the property. Now during the install the tech tried to stretch the electrical wires which shorted and blew the breaker. I asked him to put in a disconnect box and wirer the system correctly and I was told they do not do electrical. I had to make two trips to Lowes to buy supplies for him to wirer the system correctly and properly and i still must replace the plate on the heater. How can you install AC systems and water heaters and not do electrical? By the way I am an electrician and the supervisor at the Tampa VA hospital. The service, the communications and the overall take care of the customer is terrible, and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, and I am also filing a complaint with the BBB of Florida. I recommend that you not use them or read every inch of the contract and paperwork before you get screwed. It's all about the money and not the customer. Byron Taylor

I came home after vacation and called this company at 10:30 PM the woman on the phone assured me that the technician would be there no later than midnight I told her I had kids and if they could make it earlier that be great. She said she would do her best but it would probably be midnight. Midnight came and went. At 12:15 I called her and asked her what was going on she said to me the technician was in route he would be there soon. 1230 came and went 1245 I call what's going on he's not here she said she's been trying to contact him him and he's not returning her calls. I told her to cancel everything and that I was really upset. She said to me I told you between 12 and one! I said no way I called you at 10:30 and you said to me no later than midnight here we are at 1 AM and still no technician these people are full of it I could've called somebody hours ago now I have to go get a hotel because it's over 90° in that house and I can't have my kids sleep in there
In March of 2024, we had ABC come out and service our unit for it's annual maintenance. The technician offered their membership plan. After explaining our manufacturers warranty, I was told that they could honor it, just as many other companies have over the years. ABC continued to take monthly payments until May of 2025 when we had an issue with the capacitor(which we have had covered under the warranty multiple times). With an 86° house their technician told me they do not honor the warranty and attempted to charge me $800.00 to fix the issue. We refused and spent the night in a hotel. A different company fixed the issue the following morning, honoring the warranty, and charged $80.00 for a service call. The only offer from ABC to rectify this situation was a gift card for ABC services for $100.00. Consider them unethical!
Beware! This company is so crooked. Patrick Cheney part owner didn't pull permits on the ac job I pd him $2980.00 to do! He also didn't do what was on our agreed contract, he refused to give me his General liability insurance information. He never ever came back to finish!!! He abandoned the job, extremely poor workmanship. See the documents where he was fined by the Department of Business & Professional Regulation!
I would give this company 5 stars for pricing and initial service for my unit 21 months ago. Fast forward to today and my unit stopped working. After talking to a technician we tested the capacitor and discovered it went bad. Just talked to the office and they won't swap it out for me because they want their $85 service fee and labor for a $30 part. I'll wait the extra day for my capacitor to come in and save myself $100+ dollars and the time it would cost for me to leave work to meet the technician. It's a shame companies don't want to help out their customers on a simple fix. If it was more than just the capacitor I would be willing to pay the money but this is just bad service.

I was in an unfortunate situation with a different company who came and installed a different brand unit than what I had purchased, completing a poor job in the process. ABC was a God sent. From the moment I spoke with Talia in customer service I knew ABC was the company I had been searching to install a new AC Unit...Friendly and very helpful Customer Service. The following day Thomas came to my house and completed a thorough assessment providing an estimate with the scope of work. Thomas listened to my needs not only from the perspective of my home, but he also considered my health challenges within the project. Thomas was Prompt, Thorough, and Accurate. I agreed to the contract and within a day, Talia had a permit number... Efficient and Friendly! Joel was awesome following with calls, emails, responding to the needs of the moment without neglecting a single call... Always Consistent and Caring! Bruce and Alvino, I can't say enough..They began the project and did not leave the site until it was completed. They replaced underground pipes, rebuild a return box, and carefully installed a beautiful unit (inside Air handler and outside condenser). They cared for my home as if it was their own...LONG HOURS to say the least... Wise, Respectful, Dedicated, and Determined!... A day later came Rob to do a walk through of the site, making sure that everything was completed accordingly and to the owners satisfaction. Rob's attention to details was unprecedented. I did not have to point out minor concerns because it was already noted on his end and corrected right at the moment... Detail Oriented, Efficient, and so Pleasant! What an awesome Team!
