Great technicians - keeping scheduled install time a challenge & higher price than expected. It was a pleasure working with both AC technicians John Renta and David Muniz. They were pleasant to work with, patient in answering all of my questions, and very knowledgeable about functionality of both A/C & UV light systems. There was prompt servicing by David who explained the UV light details, then allowed time for me to decide whether adding one of these units make sense for me. However, when John Renta came to my home as scheduled to install the light unit, he had not been told a taller ladder would be needed because my unit is attached to my garage’s very high ceiling. It took several additional reschedules plus follow-up with a manager to ensure they did not reschedule John to other jobs during my scheduled timeline -luckily there was some time flexibility on my side as I work from home periodically during the week. As for the price.. much higher than expected, higher than $$ quoted on Google for this service -at least David pulled up the prices online so I knew it was their universal pricing (not client specific as I’ve experienced in the past from other home repair technicians). They did provide a small discount for locking in annual maintenance plan and waived the initial service fee to clean my unit so appreciated the consideration. Really counting on this UV light part preventing mold and bacteria from growing inside my AC unit as it should improve my air quality.. needed for someone with allergies. Overall- David and John made this experience a pleasant one. I’d recommend them to others with the hope that all technicians with frank Gay are as knowledgeable and easy to work with.

The plumbing repair was completed with professionalism, efficiency, and flawless execution. Ethan, the lead technician, together with Daniel as his assistant, immediately assessed the issue, provided a thorough expert evaluation, and presented a fair and reasonable price quote. Upon my approval, they began the work right away and completed everything within just a few hours. Throughout the entire process, both men were courteous, respectful, and highly professional. They even identified and addressed additional collateral issues on-site, provided an updated price quote on the spot, and resolved both problems simultaneously. This demonstrated not only their technical versatility but also their ability to operate effectively under pressure. Semi emergency situation, electrical issue causing breaker to our well to trip, so no water to the house. I called Frank Gay Services and they had a technician to me within a couple hours on a Friday. Unfortunately, a personal situation occurred after the technician arrived and we had to postpone the diagnosis and repair. I called later that afternoon to reschedule. I was told that Brendan, the technician who came earlier, knowing we needed water would come back out that evening. Brendan is great. He did a thorough diagnosis and was able to figure out the issue as he worked into the night to isolate the area in need of repair. It was a bigger issue than could be repaired that night. Since Brendan would not be able to come back the next day he took detailed notes and pictures for another technician and was able to get us scheduled for the next day so we wouldn’t be without water until Monday. Ricardo arrived Saturday evening and picked up where Brendan left off. The repair was done, and the family could take a hot shower before bedtime that evening. Brendan and Ricardo were both pleasant, understanding, skilled and most of all hard workers. Thank you
I have had 8-yes 8 Frank Gay employees @ my home for the past 2+ weeks! You name it, it happened to me. This is my second review, as it is involving my 23 yr. old Trane AC. It needed replacement, but wasn't ready for the time or expense, until a nice tech, Carlos, said they could replace it the next day (a Sunday no less) Both Anthony & Eta arrived on time and went straight to work, removing, replacing, and hooking me up with a beautiful new Trane. They even removed the cement slab and replaced it with a clean new pad. Very impressed with solid workmanship ( difficult to find nowadays) with polite, respected and no judgement workers. They worked until the job was finished, cleaned up everything with a smile. So pleased I chose the company ( I've used before, but nothing this big). We had a emergency repair needed on our hot water heater Saturday afternoon at 1pm. The emergency fee was $129 which was expected. Technician Robert ops-15 showed up around 930 pm. Other then paying $256 for a 15 minute repair on top of the $129 emergency and having to wait ovet 8 hours with no water. Our 1st time experience with FrankGay company was ok. Now to say how Robert ops-15 handled our emergency. Robert was very professional and well liked by our family. He came in and got the job done. I would highly recommend asking for Robert for any of your repairs needed. Robert is a good guy and very talented in the trade. Top-Notch Installation by Javier Flores and His Son! Javier Flores and his son delivered outstanding service installing our new Carrier A/C unit. From start to finish, they worked efficiently, professionally, and with great attention to detail. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the installation. They were respectful of our home, explained everything clearly, and made sure the system was fully tested before wrapping up. The air is already cooler and more consistent throughout the house, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s rare these days to find a father-son team who work this well together and care this much about doing the job right. I’d highly recommend Javier and his son to anyone needing HVAC work done. Five stars all the way!
We had a major plumbing issue at our house over the holidays. I called Frank Gay on New Year’s Eve and they had someone respond in a couple of hours. Unfortunately the problem required more specialty expertise so we had to have another team respond the following day. Jonathan Pritchett was one of the most professional people I have ever had do work at my house. He showed up when he said he would and explained every step of the process so my wife and I knew exactly what was going on during the 2 day process. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the service and that it was done right. Frank Gay is the only company I would ever trust to do any work on my house whether it is ac, electrical, or plumbing.
It’s always difficult when something like a water leak causes damage to your home. Frank Gay services immediately responded and did a comprehensive leak detection, identified the source of the problem, and had it repaired in two hours. My technician OPS-07 Ben Tongue went out of his way to help me set up an appointment with a water remediation specialist who came out later that day and helped me file my insurance claim. Both technicians that came out from Frank Gay were great about my autistic daughter. They made sure they locked the front door every time they went outside and they were so nice to her every time she went up to them while they were working.
Mr. Henry Vazquez from Frank Gay (Electrical Dept) came out to my home on 27 October 2025. Three of my GFI plugs were fried due to the storm we had the night before. Mr. Vazquez was on time, very professional, and answer all my questions about repair. He also suggested protector for my home to prevent it from happening again. I like the service so much I requested a separate line be installed for my freezer in my garage. He did a great job on it. He’s coming back on Friday to install a separate plug outside on the Lanai I will definitely will use Frank Gay for any electrical work that I need done in my home in the future
We had a regularly scheduled maintenance visit with Frank Gay, and Michael Cavuoto was our electrician. Earlier in the day, we discovered that three outlets in our home had stopped working, and Michael spent the time to thoroughly troubleshoot the issue. He was patient, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Michael figured out the problem and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. We are very impressed with his work ethic and attention to detail. I couldn’t recommend Michael Cavuoto, and Frank Gay — more highly! Excellent service.
From the first call, I was very pleased with the information and response I received. With no weekend inflated charge, Jared arrived on time Saturday. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and fully informed us of options and repair costs. Michael arrived on time on Tuesday. He also was pleasant and very apologetic for being very ill on Monday. He got busy immediately preparing the site and started the job of replacing the well pump. Excellent employees and company to do business with. 10 star company
Our entire upstairs bathroom was all out of sorts. From toilet to sink to shower. Our technician Kamrin Mixell did a phenomenal job diagnosing and promptly solving each issue as well as being so personable that I completely trusted him to just do his work upstairs - all while I was downstairs with my baby. new moms know how anxiety inducing it can be to invite anyone to work in the home during the newborn days so i’m very thankful for such great service. Everything was completely fixed in the same day!

Frank Gay was able to make me an appointment quickly for my kitchen sink leak/plumbing repair. The technician who visited, Michael Myers, was wonderful. He explained everything that he assessed and recommended doing thoroughly before starting any work. He also elaborated on all the services which Frank Gay offers, which I’ll likely be utilizing in the future. I truly appreciate Michael’s genuine care & service. He ensured I felt taken care of and that my needs were met.
I scheduled an appointment with Frank Gay this morning and they had someone out by 6:30pm. Kamrin called me to let me know he was about an hour out. When he arrived he explained his troubleshooting steps ,explained what he found and fixed, and tested to confirm the issue was resolved. He called the remediation team for me and followed up with them to get an estimated time of arrival. This was my first experience with Frank Gay and Kamrin made it a pleasant one.
Frank Gay Services is a GREAT company and we have used them again and again. They are prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Recently we had Trevor M. come to the house for electrical needs. Trevor was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and he guided us through a generator hook up and panel box update. He took his time explaining options and what was best for our home. Trevor was a pleasure to work with and we once again are so glad we chose Frank Gay Services!
Someone recommended the company to me. I'm so glad I took their advice. The scheduling was easy. I definitely recommend getting the membership. The AC tech David Garcia was very communicative before arrival and during the maintenance. He explained things to me and showed me the different services he recommended. It was one of those weeks where I ended up having a plumbing issue and an AC issue all in one Making it less painful was Joseph Meade from Frank Gay Plumbing. Joe was great. He was very thorough and took care of the drain issue snd then fixed valve and shower head issues. He was friendly, professional, and very efficient. Thanks Jie! Everything is better than normal now and I always feel like I called the right people when I call this firm.
Keith was so professional and kind. He kept me in the loop with everything he was doing and was great at explaining how the piping in the house worked as well as secondary issues that he found. Excellent service! We had a main waterline break Saturday morning. Called Frank Gay and they were able to send someone that day. The technician, Mario Bermudez, arrived just before the time I was given. He was able to fix the break in about an hour. Very happy that we were able to have our water back on before the end of the same day as the break. Thank you Frank Gay and Mario for quick and excellent service!!! Highly recommend!
My experience having Frank Gay replace our shower value cartridge was excellent. The tech that helped us was Ben Tongue. Ben was very knowledgeable and did a great job helping us understand the details of the project from beginning to end. It was a pleasure to work with him and we plan to use Frank Gay for any of our future plumbing needs. We have used Frank Gay now a couple of times. They are a credible and solid company.
Once again Frank Gay Services helped to solve my problems. I needed a new kitchen faucet and some water valves changed out. Mario Bermudez took care of those services quickly and professionally! I’d also like to send a positive review for Jason Hildago who replaced my garbage disposal with ease. OPD-04 Mathew Rosenberger was my service technician. He was on time, got right to work, explained best and worst case scenario. He was finished quickly and made my day with the best case ending! He was neat and tidy, friendly and knowledgeable. second time I’ve had them out in 3 years. Did not disappoint. We use their commercial division where I’m employed, too! I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Frank Gay technician Victor Mena. He was knowledgeable and courteous. He helped me order a new AC unit and the process was smooth. He broke all the cost and warranties down so that it was easy for me to understand. Then Two other Technicians Yoani and William completed the installation. They were efficient and thorough. They even cleaned up once they were done. Best experience!!
Michael was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me some choices on how to fix my well gauge and price. He also told me about the family plan and after some discussion I chose the family plan which included maintenance on my ac and water tank and of course he fix the gauge on the well. Frank Gay Plumbing wins the day!! We were preparing for a home inspection happening the next morning and discovered one of the faucets in our home needed the posi-temp cartridge replaced. I called Frank Gay around 4 pm, and they were able to send out OPM4-MATT HOLMES SAME DAY!! He was polite, professional and corrected the issue all before 8 pm. It truly made all the difference.
Worst Reviews
I bought two top-of-the-line AC systems from FrankGay in Nov '23 and Mar '24. The second system started having issues less than 2 months later. The drain-line was backed up, and the emergency trip didn't shut-off the system despite that line being full of water. The system kept running, with water saturating the floor below (the 2nd story flooring), and all down through the walls of the first floor. My other system also started having issues with the zone board, resulting in it running 24x7 and generating even more water problems. The AC systems came with a warranty, so we called Frank Gay. It's been 5 months of continuous water problems, 9 warranty visits from technicians, and still the water issues happen regularly. Frank Gay engaged with Damage Control, another company, to come and remediate, but gave no guidance on what to fix, or how much to investigate. I tried to get the companies to talk to each other, but Damage Control told me that they could never get Frank Gay to provide info or even call them back. Damage Control set up industrial dehumidifiers for a few weeks, which ran my energy bill up by an extra $500, but did nothing because the AC systems continued to create more water. They eventually took their equipment away, leaving me with holes in drywall, ripped up carpet, a musty room that has to be causing mildew, and a water issue that keeps ruining my house. Frank Gay has promised to repair everything affected, and I got an email from their repair team August 1. I heard nothing else until I emailed back, August 9, and they only said "update soon". Nothing since (currently Sept-4) Frank Gay was not the cheapest, their warranty is not worth the money, their service doesn't help. I feel like I will have to get everything repaired myself, and call another AC company to fix their problems.
Signed up for the their maintance plan on our vacation condo. Had the AC/electrical service done as well as a plumbling/hot water tank replaced. All service completed was an 8/10 however for what we paid for the hot water tank and install we can no long close the door properly as before install and the tank installed was the exact same as one replaced. Also, the exterior of our home where the tanks were brought in and out made such a mess that our HOA/building monitor is making us have to make the entrance as before which will require painting and other projects on our part. The biggest resons for a 1 star review are their pricing is excessive. We had to do it due to our schedule but could have atleast saved 35% using other local service companies. Lastly and most unacceptable... I have tried on three different conversations to end annual service agreement/contract. Each time I am told I would be receiving a confirmation email showing cancellation and have yet to see any email.
Over promised and under delivered. I originally left a 5 star review for them. I am taking the time to change my review to warn others so you do not make the same mistake I have made hiring them. What did they expect to happen when they leave a project half completed? I have to call daily and not one call back from the supposed manager. Do I really have to resort to public shaming to complete a job that I have paid for in full? Update: 12/5/2023 The level of incompetence at the folks over a Frank Gay is incomprehensible. Last week, I was told specifically, we are going to backfill on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday comes, they no show. Thursday comes, they back fill. Inspector supposed to come Friday--again Frank Gay ghosts me. After I call and complain once again, I speak to the agent on Monday. Inspector is supposed to come Tuesday (I took the day off from my very busy law practice) to wait for the inspector. Just kidding they tell me--not today.
I would have left negative stars for Jason Castanon if it were possible. That unprofessional tech should not have been sent to my home. Not only could he not explain what his findings were from his diagnostics, he was squarely focused on what to charge me for, including other potential expenses for what issues I still didn’t understand!! This tech also had the audacity to speak with my tenants about my direct conversation with him, and misrepresented the entire situation with even bigger lies. Frank Gay, Jason has cost you a customer. I’ve had no reason to quit you for the last 2.5yrs, but this tech crossed the line.
We contacted Frank Gay on a Sunday evening when our AC went out and our regular AC technician was not available. They were quick to get us an appointment. The technician was prompt and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately he could not repair it because he did not have the part with him. It was going to cost $1800. So he tried to sell us a whole new AC system. The next morning, my regular AC guy called me and could do the repair for $495! I will never call Frank Gay again! Too pricey!
WARNING. Frank Gay Residential Services sent us an invoice, for the final payment for an over $4000 of sewer repair, which we promptly paid in full. They sent us a PAID in FULL receipt showing a ZERO BALANCE DUE. Then 5 weeks later they came back to us trying to collect $1700 more. They charged over $4000 for 1.5 days of work by I person with a shovel and some replacement pipe. Be careful with these people!!
This company is very unprofessional and they don’t care about their customers!!! After several scheduled appointments which the technician didn’t show, he finally came to check the ac, but he caused a short-circuit and burned the ac. There was nothing wrong, he just had to make the annual inspection. It already has been 4 days without ac.
Terrible company to deal with. Had a new electrical panel installed in my house over 2 months ago and apparently they never had it inspected and I have an open permit on my house/title and unable to sell my house until it's resolved. Been calling for over 2 weeks and get a different answer every time. The worst customer service.

Just wanted to write a review about a great crew! It’s our first experience w/Frank Gay Services & so far we’ve been very happy with Carlos who fixed our old, broken 29 year old A/C after it suddenly went on the blink last week! We also signed up that day for a new A/C unite w/Frank Gay! The very next day, the crew showed up promptly & on time to install our new unit. They were very respectful & friendly even to our dog Max. Alexis, their lead, explained what he, Hermivier & Javier would be doing that day which was to remove our 30 year old A/C unit & replace it with a brand new unit. It was a job that should take roughly 5 hours or so, provided there were no issues. They worked quietly & steady & things seemed fine. But then there was an issue. See, our A/C unit was old! And our house was the actual sales unit from which the houses in this community were sold from 30 years ago…so there was unusual upgrades & setups which were made back then. As a result, many of the elements in our home have become out of date, out of stock & very difficult if not impossible to replace. In order to complete the job, the crew needed a specific part which they didn’t usually carry. But the crew didn’t just quit & go home after 5 hours of work. They didn’t leave us in the heat! They reached out to their supervisor, Mr. LaQuann, who was far away & he located the missing part needed, drove far to pick it up & delivered it to my house asap. What should’ve took the crew 5 hours would take them double that time to complete…but they didn’t give up. They made it happen for us & they got the job done well into the evening! LaQuann even brought a bucket of KFC for them & we were delighted to see how he cared for his crew! My husband & I felt so bad for them because we know that their day was long & hot as they continued to work to complete the installation of the new A/C unit. They didn’t complain or tell us they were gonna come back tomorrow to complete the job & for that we were so grateful. My husband is battling cancer & having no A/C really affected him adversely. So when we could feel the cool air begin to flow again that evening, we were overjoyed & truly grateful that this crew didn’t give up but the stood the course & finished the job for us! Around 9pm or so, they were done. Hermivier was the last to leave & when we saw him start to sweep up the area where they were working, my husband told him it wasn’t necessary & that we could finish sweeping. We knew he had a long day & we told him that he could go home but he wouldn’t leave until the job was 100% complete! He swept up the entire area making sure it was spotless. Then he explained how to use the new thermostat before he left for the day! He was clear & thorough w/his instructions of the device! We definitely recommend FRANK GAY Services & have signed up with them for duct cleaning & A/C maintenance so we will be seeing them in the future! This gives us peace of mind moving forward & we are grateful! Please thank your crew for us!!! Great job guys! We are very happy customers! God Bless!
