Five stars began with my phone call to Gulf Shore Cooling,( I wish I saved her name) the woman who took my call was extremely knowledgeable with the financing and services. We scheduled an appointment with GulfShore Sales and had a wonderful experience with Paul Smith. A text with a picture of Paul was sent and brief bio; how smart Gulf Shore!!!! Gulf Shore Cooling does this with every appointment!! Paul is very friendly, not pushy because he doesn't have to be. Gulf Shore doesn't sell inferior products, 5 star reviews, and Paul himself raved about the owners. Paul was EXTREMELY helpful with the financing, he was very thorough in explaining each plan.Paul was very knowledgeable of the cooling systems, we felt very comfortable in choosing the unit Paul suggested because Paul provided a wealth of good information. I highly recommend Gulf Shore Cooling - Thanks to Dave Beer who assessed and advised us on replacing our system - a significant time investment to assess and talk through redesigning entire HVAC system (total resize and re-engineering of 1993 install and a few previous misguided updates) - his expert assessment and insights set us up for a completely different HVAC experience - impressive, and greatly appreciated. On install day - wow - you all delivered big time - multiple crews, two new lennox systems, all new redesign of ducting - all in one day. The result was awesome - no more system noise (I won't miss the airplane engine like noise in the main bedroom), temps are more balanced, humidity lower, home feels so much better. Every one of the team (Sergio, Gerardo, Yasniel, Pedro and Carlos) were professional, polite, expert at what they do, communicated/discussed steps, fully outstanding in their efforts. Can't say enough good things about Gino and Gulf Shore Cooling! We've been through several firms maintaining & servicing our units, and these guys are the best. They're honest, prompt and give you options. This latest service was just another example of great service. Our air handler was running non-stop. We called on Sunday, and they were there on Monday morning. Gino properly diagnosed the issue as a bad motor (yeah, that happens on older units). Instead of pressuring us on a brand new unit, he gave us the option to buy new, but also 2 options to replace the motor. We chose to repair our unit, and he had the repalcement part ordered for delivery later in the week. Then we get a call saying they'd be there the next day with the replacement! So they had the repair done within a day! They were transparent, honest, and exceeded their promised timeline. What a great customer experience! Thank you Gino and thank you Gulf Shore Cooling for keeping our family comfortable and cool.
Had an exceptional experience with company. My first meeting with Paul Smith to discuss my options went great. Very professional and knowledgeable. Once I decided to move forward with a new air conditioning system, the installation was done timely and perfect. In fact, my unit quit working a few days after initial meeting and inspection. I had scheduled an installation the following week, but called Paul on a Sunday when it quit and Paul was able to adjust some other installations and complete mine the next day. Outstanding customer 5. The actual installation was handled very quickly and professionally. Both Amado and Jaciel arrived exactly when they committed and finished total job in a few hours. Work area was very clean when job completed. Unit worked as promised and cooling system worked perfectly. All interactions with company personnel were smooth and pleasant. I would highly recommend using this company for your cooling system needs.
My old 10 year central air was failing fast and repairs would have been expensive. My old 10 year parts warranty just expired. After in depth consultation I purchased a new Goodman central A/C. The two Gulf Shore employees who did the install were very professional and efficient. They left the A/C at 65 degrees and the next morning I had to turn it back to 77 degrees. What a huge improvement with this new A/C. I did research the Goodman A/C. I have used Gulf Shore Cooling in the past. I would recommend Gulf Shore Cooling for fast and efficient service. FYI: 4 years before I hired a local A/C company (not Gulf Shore) and the employee that arrived did not even have the tools, appeared high and confused? Update: August 10, 2025: A/C still freezing cold as anticipated. Although I do not have their maintenance plan as before I would recommend it as your new or older A/C does need occasional maintenance.

5 stars for Gulf Shore Cooling and Eric in particular. I called this morning at 7:30 and had a tech at my door at 9:30. Right from the original phone call through the process everyone was caring, professional, and thorough. Pricing was very reasonable and I engaged in a Service Contract with the company. Eric, The tech was amazing in every aspect of the process. We've continued to utilize Gulf Shore and the services get better and better, including purchasing a new system. Eric continues to be a STAR.....shout out to David the supervisor! Thank you again!!!! Had a regular service appointment today as part of my contract. After multiple attempts to resolve my new Lenox AC issue I gave up on Conditioned Air the original installer of my AC. I gave them multiple chances to resolve the issue at which point I had to fire them. I always kept a good relationship with Gulf Shore Cooling even after my purchase. I found out the hard way. Dont buy on the lowest price (like I did with Conditioned Air) In the end you want a reputable company that can do repairs. I Highly recommend Dave Beers at Gulf Shore Cooling. He was right when he told me Gulf Shore Cooling has the best HVAC Tech in the Fort Myers Naples area. And he was right. Very professional organization you may pay a fraction more but in the end when you need service they are the best!
Technician Randy as always did an awesome job in servicing our A/C system. He is both professional and knowledgeable and a great asset to Gulf Shore Cooling. Follow up due to a possible leak technician Tyler spent a lot of time diagnosing the issue which should have been found when the ac unit was struggling to cool the house and a previous technician told me it was hot outside and that’s why my unit could not keep up for a fee of $125. Tyler did find a leak on a two year old system for another $125. The part is under warranty but the labor to replace it is expensive. Will see what they do and will post the outcome
The guys came out quick. Our Consultant was Austin who knew a lot about HVAC and was very helpful diagnosing our issue. The service team came out quickly and put in a new air conditioner. I actually had a knee replacement surgery the day they installed so was not able to be hands-on. Prior to me departing for the hospital, it was leaking awful Into the ceilings . I came home to a perfectly clean and dry garage and a brand ac new system. That came with a 12 year parts and labor warranty. That was the most incredible.I never had an out of power issue during the experience. I would highly recommend this team.
We arrived to our home at the beginning of our season in FL to find that the AC was not working. On a Sunday I called Gulf Shore Cooling, someone answered and scheduled a service call for the very next day. Alex, our Gulf Shore Cooling expert, who we’ve had before, was excellent - again! He is knowledgeable, shares valuable information about our system, is professional, and friendly. Gulf Shore also provides updates on when to expect arrival, with a picture, and a nice tidbit about the person who is coming to your home. So glad we found them!
Gino was extremely punctual, knowledgeable, worked very cleanly neat and cleanly. He explained exactly what he was doing and what I should Do to avoid exorbitant costly maintenecen in the future. They were very professional and courteous. Alex Menendez troubleshot my system and helped me understand my options to repair or replace the system. He did an excellent job of discussing pros and cons of the options. The next day Geraldo Costillo and his partner removed the old system and installed a new system. He explained the features and differences in the unit that he installed. In addition, he did a thorough job of not making or leaving a mess. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Great service from this company , Austin went through everything step-by-step very helpful and professional . Definitely recommended. The installation team lead by Miguel Santos was nothing but great ,excellent attention to details ,very professional , very diligent. The whole team worked tirelessly to have our home AC units running in one day. My family and I are very grateful for this company and the whole team that took care of us.
Ryan was professional, friendly and communicated our systems challenges clearly and provided multiple options for meeting these challenges. He gave honest, no pressure opinions when asked how to proceed. He made a difficult situation almost enjoyable. I trust him. Gulf Shore Cooling did an excellent job today. I purchased an air conditioning unit from them two years ago and I am part of their six month maintenance plan. My technician, Ramiz Did such an excellent job and was so thorough at cleaning my air conditioner that I didn’t even know it was so dirty. My house smells better and the air conditioner is running so well that my house is super cold which I love.
Gulf Shore Cooling just repaired the air conditioning in my home. This AC was installed by another company and some items needed to be repaired. Not only did they handle it with professionalism, but they also made it better than it was when it was brand new. You receive messages when technicians are due to arrive, they clean up after they're done working, and the prices are very reasonable.
Eric came out to address my HVAC concerns. He is very knowledgeable and kind as well He took the time to do everything correctly and completely... He has a fantastic work ethic and he truly cares about doing the job well and correctly. And that's hard to find nowadays. Prior to having my AC unit replaced by Gulf Shore Cooling I called them for an emergency visit as my AC had stopped cooling. Their response time was excellent. The second time they came out to my home they replaced my old AC with a new one. Absolutely satisfied with the quality of work done and highly recommend Gulf Shore Cooling for all of your air conditioning needs.
We had our AC system fail a couple of days ago. It was very old. We got a very knowledgeable sales rep named Dave Beer who gave us several options. We chose one at noon yesterday and the installers Carlos and Sergio were here about 8:30 this morning and we're finished about noon. Nice experience, they covered our carpeted steps and floors to protect them. Thank you

Today, Gulf Shore Cooling performed the general maintenance on my HVAC unit, including a thorough cleaning. I also had an ultra violet light installed. My technician, Tyler Bateman, was fantastic! He was obviously very knowledgeable and patiently explained all the procedures. I highly recommend GSC! On all levels they are top notch!

Your two installers of our new HVAC system did excellent work. They made some changes from the old unit that made it look so much more professional and optimally functional. We were without an air conditioner for 6 days. We contacted Gulf Shore thru Costco. This company quoted us outside the ball park . pricing thru Costco. Unaffordable!!! Then Dave the sales rep showed us different good quality AC systems for better pricing directly they Gulf Shore instead of Costco. He sold us a Bryant legacy claiming it was as good yet more efficient than our existing Carrier. We believed Dave ans we were hot and desperate. Our new AC was installed 4 days ago on Sat 10/12. By Sunday morning our new AC was not cooling our place. A technician was sent out who diagnosed the unit and said it was running fine and blamed our NEST thermostat! Meanwhile, the handler was cold and the outside doors and black foam were all wet with condensation. The technician said that was normal. WHAT!!! I called Dave to report this to him. He didn’t care. He told me to call the office. I called the office and spoke with Debbie who promised to call me back on Monday. I called Monday morning and she said she was talking to management and I will get a call back. I called Tuesday morning and Nadine answered the phone. Debbie wouldn’t talk to me. She told Nadine to tell me she was talking to management, again. No call back. Here it is Wednesday morning. I woke up at 4:30am sweating with AC set to 77°. I turned it down to 75°. It is 7:10am and it has yet to start!! Says cooling in 30 mins for over an hour! To ad insult to injury we did replace a 2 yr old NEST thermostat with a brand new one! My humidity is high. Gulf Shore needs to remove the new piece of junk AC from home. This brand new AC is not working as it should. They’ve got my money and left me hanging. I even sent them multiple photos. I’m having more problems with this brand new unit cooling my home than I did with my old my unit. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED for the price! BOTTOM LINE - I WAS SOLD A CHEAP UNIT FOR $9k because the company knew we were desperate and took advantage of us!
Several Issues currently going on here that I feel it necessary I mention. 1) Technician did not know how the new thermostat worked and could not show us how to use. 2) The base to the unit is not the same size as the unit and is taped to seal system vacuum. I agreed to utilizing old base due to size configuration issues with new base, so sorry I did so. 3) Ordered a larger filtration system that was installed without a filter. Was told the filter would be brought to us in the next couple days. Service agent online after the fact stated this was not true and they do not supply filters. Can anyone tell me what size filter the system takes???? Nope, not one person so far can to this. This is like purchasing a car and told tires are not included and we had to supply before driving off the lot. 4) It took 6 hours for the new system to cool down our home once turned on. It TOOK 6 HOURS! Is this normal? Nope! 5) When the unit is running, we now hear an irritating high pitched whirling noise. So, as of now just a few hours after the system was installed, we are not satisfied with install, customer service, and quality of the Lennox system as a whole. God help us.... Hopefully today we will get some satisfaction like perhaps someone who can explain how to use the thermostat or perhaps can tell us what size filter the system utilizes. I so very disappointed in Gulf Shore Cooling as a whole. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will see to it this is review is posted on the Gateway Community and Hampton Park Websites.
In 2020 we replaced our a/c system, including enhancements to the duct work. Our cost was approximately $12,000. Since install we have a had a constant whistling noise from our air handler (in the garage). Service calls from Gulfshore resulted in varying reasons for the whistling, but no remedies ever offered. Two years later, during the summer of 2022, we began to experience intermittent coil freeze ups. In the fall we noted mold forming at the output plenum. When contacting Gulfshore we were told that a $100 nonrefundable service fee would be required with a $14 fuel charge. Having been a customer for two years I felt the charge was excessive and went elsewhere for service. I was ultimately told by another trade that the duct system was not adequate for the air handler and the filter was too dense. Wanting to provide Gulfshore the opportunity to verify and make things right I contacted them to see if they would now come out to check their work. I was told that the report of the other contractor was opinion and the work never would have been approved by the county if it were inadequate or incorrect, and that they would be happy to come out for $114. Knowing what I know now I would not do business with Gulfshore again. I’m not a cancel-culture kinda guy, but I do believe word of mouth is the best advertising.
Terrible service. Expect to be without A/C for over a week. No one cares. The system is 14 months old. I have an elderly parent over 89 years old living with me who has health conditions and Gulfcoast Cooling doesn’t care. Bought the system through Costco expecting better service and I received the worst service ever. I know parts can fail, but this company is expecting me to wait for a week for parts. How do you not have Fed Ex or work with a sister company and see if parts are available. Also was told Lennox is a better brand than Trane. Not sure about that. I cannot believe that nor understand that. I warn future customers, think twice. They don’t care about the customer. I will be contacting Costco as well. I paid more for this unit than other vendors, expecting to receive better service. Extremely disappointed. Warning- do not use this company. Side note- second day, no call from a manager. Asked McKayla twice to speak with a manager on two different days.She said she sent an email to the managers. Crickets. And they sent me an invoice, but Donna told us to ignore it As I mentioned, no one has reached out to us. Oh, they did bring a portable unit this morning.
Bummed out about this one, they were nice people but overall this was hard on us. We paid for dispatch of Gulfshore tech, yes we know our AC is old and needs to be replaced. It was hot since our AC started blowing warm air starting the night before. We were told our compressor was bad and needed a replacement and then quoted us 4K to replace the compressor. Luckily, when I was looking for with other companies for quotes for new replacements, I told the company the situation and he asked if he could come and and look at it even though we already had it looked at. New AC guy replaced the capacitor and got us up and running. He told us Yes, your compressor is probably going bad but replacing the capacitor will give you a little time to decide and figure out what you need to do. ( he checked if thats what we wanted to spend the money temporarily to get us back up and running ) Yes I am grateful Gulfshore tech arrived pretty quick and was kind, but wish we were given some options.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I got all new duct work and a new ac unit installed by them less than 3 years ago. (The service guy said that’s not considered new? and it’s typical for there to be mold all over the blower motor.. and for insulation and things to start falling apart around this time.) lol what? These are just the recent problems but it has literally been nothing but problems since the install and never any actual help from these people at all. From the salesman to the service guys, I’ve been gaslit and lied to multiple times, about a number of different things. All they do is try to take your money! They reschedule appointments the day of, sometimes for months later. They never follow up when they said they will. They don’t even call back half the time. If I could go back, I would spend THOUSANDS more just to go through a different company. Save your money and frustration and USE SOMEONE ELSE!!
Poor Communication I hired this company to install an air conditioner and signed up for their service contract, thinking it would cover future repairs. For three years, they charged me monthly without providing any service. I never received receipts, updates, or any contact. When I called, they said they had the wrong phone number and email. I corrected it, but a year later, I found out they never updated it. Today, I noticed an increase in the monthly fee and called again—only to be met with rude customer service. They told me they only communicate by email and don’t send receipts, letters, or make calls. I’ve paid for a service I never received. I take responsibility for not catching it sooner, but their lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable. Be cautious if you’re considering them
I've had nothing but problems since they installed my new air conditioner and it's not the air conditioner per se. It is the stupid thermostat that they replaced and they should have left my old one there. It was fine. Never had a problem. I will not recommend them to anybody

A few months ago Mr. Dave Rojas came to our home for an estimate on our AC. He informed us that we needed a new unit since the one we had was 38 years old, it would cost more to repair. He was very polite and super informative answering all my questions. Because of him, we decided to go with Gulf Shore Cooling after having a few quotes from other vendors. The way he answered all our questions without hesitation, without getting angry or offended and all his answers made sense to us. This was important. It made us trust him and the company he represented. He was so professional that we thought he was the owner of the company. After explaining what we need, he gave us a few payment options. But we decided to wait until we gathered the money. I was happy that we were able to make a budget based on the quote he gave us because to my surprise, after 3 months they still held the quote for us and didn’t increase the price. The appointment was easy to make and Mr. Rojas was very accomodating. On the date of the installation Mr. Ambiorix came to my house to make the installation with Mr. David Jr. Both of them were very knowledgeable of what they were doing and made the installation an easy breeze. They both were professional and rapid to respond to any concern we had on the spot. They installed a new thermostat and installed a bigger vent inside the house for the AC to obtain more air. The job wasn’t easy but Mr. Ambiorix got it done great. Without taking credit away from Mr. David who finished the connection of the AC ducts sooner than I expected and his work was impeccably clean and well done too. You can tell they are proud of putting their name on what they do. To future customers I would say: ”I would definitely recommend this company”. And to the owner I would say: “These 3 people are an asset to your company”.
