Over the past several years we have resided in our condominium without any significant issues. However, in October 2024, Antis Roofing & Waterproofing was contracted by the homeowners’ association (HOA) to perform tile replacement and seal pipe penetrations. Immediately after the work was completed, a rat infestation began and was promptly reported. Regrettably, this infestation persists to this day. We were contacted by Aaron Antis, the Chief Growth Officer from Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, who refused to assume any responsibility for the incident. Instead, Antis attributed the infestation solely to tile roofs and the resourcefulness of rats. Furthermore, Antis claimed that the timing of the infestation was coincidental and that correlation does not imply causation. As the days pass, we are growing increasingly concerned as the rats have gained access to multiple units’ attic spaces through the condominium building’s roof. These rats carry diseases and pose a significant threat to the health and safety of all residents. The damage they have caused over the past seven months and continue to cause is also beginning to pose a fire hazard, as they occupy spaces that house electrical and fire suppression systems throughout the condominium building. I recommend that this company be avoided to prevent similar unfortunate situations from occurring to other homeowners.

I'd give 0 but that's not an option. Not only does this roofing company treat people like garbage but when they come out to "fix" problems.. they don't actually fix them. This is the second year with the same leak coming from the same location on the roof. I was told I could call back with a workorder from the property management company and they could go ahead and schedule to come out. So, I called back with the workorder and then they still refused to schedule the appointment and said we'll just have to wait unless someone from the property management company calls into the emergency line. I told the representative that I found it ridiculous that she kept moving the bar. Every time I call in having done what was asked, there ends up being a new standard I have to reach to solve the problem. I provided her the number for the property manager to go ahead and connect but was told that outbound calls are not possible with the influx.. which she was happy to stay on the phone and argue about with me for about seven minutes but wouldn't actually do anything to resolve the issue. I exchanged some words and we mutually ended the call. Absolute garbage company made up of garbage human beings.

3/1/19 -Terrible customer service. I have called multiple times to try and schedule someone to look at my roof and the person in charge of scheduling is never there. I have left messages with the people who answer the phone and they just tell me they will have the individual call me when they get in it's had been 4 days now and no call back. If it wasn't cause I have to go through my HOA I would if already moved on. 3/6/19 - It has now been 12 Days since a ticket Order has been put into Antis to have my leaking roof checked. Still have not hear a call from Antis to schedule a date and time for them to come and inspect the roof leak. They decided to come out again unannounced on 3/2 when I wasn't home again. Wife was home alone at the time but didn't open the door cause she wasn't aware Antis was coming. We didn't know cause no one has called us yet. Would you want to open the door to a couple of guy hooded up like the pic shown? Neighbors across the way must a found a loop hole somewhere cause they seem to get Antis to inspect there place. Terrible, Terrible Service. Oh, and the roof is still leaking into my Attic. :(

I would take stars away from this company if I could. Our HOA uses this company, thus we are forced to use them. We have been without hot water for two weeks due to a leak from our roof into our water heater. They came out and determined the cause of our leak was a faulty vent cap. Our HOA finally approved the repairs and we called Antis to try and schedule those repairs. The person on the phone told me that the repais would be scheduled in the order they receive them and would take 1 to 2 weeks to be scheduled. I asked if there was a way these could be expedited as we cannot go another one to two weeks without hot water. The person on the phone said there is nothing he can do and I have to wait. I asked of there is someone else I can talk to about expediting the request and he said there isn't. He just laughed and said he could transfer me to his manager but he would probably not call me back. I would avoid this company at all costs. I would ask your HOA to stop using them as a vendor. Find literally anyone else.

I’ve had the worst experience living in the 750 Breeze Hill Rd, vista, CA-community. Since 2023, this has happened three times,every year we’ve dealt with roof leaks. Each time, we’ve had to go through the HOA to contact maintenance, and we were told it would finally be fixed this year. After heavy rain three weeks ago, the leaks returned, with water coming in from multiple areas. We reported it immediately, but after three weeks, they’ve only patched a few spots on the outside instead of repairing the entire roof. We’re still waiting for a proper fix, even now during the Christmas season. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing that they don’t provide clear timelines or take care of the issue thoroughly.

This company called to schedule appointment with us to repair leaking roof they previously did, but next day they reported to our HOA that we refused to schedule, which was not true. When questioned their receptionist about it , she said they are overwhelmed with phone calls.Well do better job at first place that the roof does not leak, then you will not be overwhelmed with warranty repairs. The receptionist was rude in the phone. This company will go to extend to lie in order to avoid to come out to do warranty repairs.

Our HOA uses this company for roof repair. Someone from this company left a message on my cell phone asking me to call you back to schedule the repair. When you call the number, the phone system is not working and keeps looping you back to the beginning. Despite calling four times, I have been unable to speak to anyone. This lack of response is concerning and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I hope their roof repair skills will be better than customer service. I will try to contact them again.

The owner of the company or whoever is lead on site hired for a roof patch job was caught urinating on my deck area. The image speaks for itself- didn’t want to include the full video.

Like a disfunctional relationship you can't seem to get out of, Antis have been an unwelcome presence in my life for the last couple of years. My roof developed a leak and since Antis had the contract with my HOA for upkeep they came out to inspect the damage. After making temporary repairs with plastic tarp and duct tape they disappeared for what turned out to be months and it was only when the roof started leaking again after the weather had ripped the tarp off that Antis returned. Once again, the repairs they made were temporary. When they eventually returned a third time it was with the intention of fixing the roof properly but because they made no attempt to contact me for details, instead of fixing the leak they performed some other piece of maintenace instead. It may be that the work was required but it didn't fix the problem that had been reported so the next time it rained, the roof leaked again. Once again Antis came out and made temporary repairs. They did eventually address the problem but made an unsatisfactorily job of it because since then, every time it rains... you guessed it! This cycle of temporary fixes followed by poor repairs has been going on now for the best part of two years and despite Antis sending out more senior members of their team lately, I don't see an end in sight. It's raining now so of course, my roof is leaking. I'm an artist working from home and my studio is the room with the leak in it which means that thosands of dollars of computer equipment, art supplies and actual artwork are at risk every time the heavens open. If it weren't for my HOA's contract with Antis I wouldn't have anything to do with them. It's been a catalogue of incompetence from them and I'm at the point where I may just have to suck it up and hire another roofing firm at my own expense because I have zero confidence that Antis will ever do the job right.

An appointment from my HOA managment was scheduled for today between 1-3pm, I reached out to reschedule it sooner if possible at around 10am,I was told no, so I told them that if we could be closer to 1pm rather than 3pm due to a busy and important activities waiting for me, second call I was told that Sergio Alejandro the person assigned to do the roof inspection was at lunch but that he will call right after to confirm an eta, at 2:42pm I stated to be worried about no body showing up so I called again, I was told the person was in route and soon will be here, at 3:10pm I called my HOA Managment to tell them about it and that no body had showed up for the appointment, they called to find out about that appointment and he was told that Sergio Alejandro have had got in touch with me and that he still on route when he never called me or texted me, I wrote a note to him explaining that I had to be on a meeting, posting the note at my front door finally Sergio Alejandro showed up at 3:32pm, I let him in to show him the interior roof leaks and 1 ask for a business card, he said he didn't have one, I told him that I need it one, he reply 1 only have door hanger and that he never had business cards, I told him to tell his boss to give him business cards and that comment changed the mood after that. Why are you guys aren't professional as you advertise? Do you want me to trust your services after all that display?, absolutely NOT, keep your lies, & unprofessionalism out of here!

Grossly overpriced, at least on my small project...so do yourself a favor and get competitive bids. Saw their trucks in the neighborhood doing some HOA work, and had a small project so I thought I would give them a call. I was told by 4 different companies that this project would take (at most an hour and the supplies were less than $100. Even their guy on site said it would take about an hour, but said to call their "HQ" to get a price. The first three quotes ranged from $300 to $500....theirs came in at $1460. Makes me wonder how much my HOA overpaid. I'll be questioning at the next Board meeting. I wouldn't write this email except the Account Executive ( first hint of high overhead), got snarky and insinuating the others were not qualified....they are qualified but don't have $1400 of overhead.... Your experience may be different, but that was mine. Even HOA less shocked.

If there is a zero star or negative I would think it's more suitable to describe the service as well as the scheduling that we have received from them (from not just one but all three different representatives )just for making appointments to fix the roof that is appointed by the HOA Our roof has been leaking since January and is April now and the HOA finally appointed Antis to schedule an appointment and we constantly asked Antis to give us an hour window before arriving on site. They change their scheduling and never bother to call us ahead of time, will only deal with the HOA and we asked for a photo for the damage roof, and they said they can only provided the photo evidence to HOA only as well. And as of now the roof is still in the face and no further appointment is made

unfortunately my association uses this company for roof repairs. I spoke with Jennifer Marine today, the assistant to the owner. I asked her how long it would take to get someone to the property to make the repairs. She doesn't know if it will take a week or a year. She would not look into it either. I asked where I was on the list for the repairs. She laughed and said I am probably 2,500 our of 3,000 now that I called her to ask. Pretty unbelievable. I wouldn't hire this company for anything. She started telling me that calling her for an appointment is like calling the dentist for a doctors appointment. Its too bad she thinks a leaking roof in my home is a joke. Totally useless and unhelpful.

They left an electric circular saw and long extension cord (still plugged in) in the common area of my HOA. One of the residents moved it for safety as we have a lot of children in our neighborhood. They said they would come back to get it the next day, but never did. Furthermore, when reminded, they said to throw it away. They are lucky is was moved and secured rather than a child getting hurt by their tools carelessly left behind. The lack of courtesy, respect for our neighborhood, and disregard for their own tools is a prime reason I will never approve them working for our association again. There were other reasons too, but this was the last straw. If tools are disposable, you are charging too much.

If I could give a minus -10 star I would. They charge my HOA harbour vista 62k to do some minor roof repairs including $9200 to replace 3 times on the roof my building. This repair would be done for $500-600 at any roofing company and the entire bill for the 10-15 units would have been only $5000-$6000. The guys wearing suits and the women wearing fancy dresses in the pictures are built off the backs of hardworking hoa members across orange county and san diego county that they have bilked. If you are on a hoa board do not call these cheats. Need proof that this is real. Look at the hoa minutes I have attached for Harbour Vista Hoa in Huntington Beach, CA.

They took too long to get back to me and the time they had didn't work for me so I told them that. then they emailed me this morning and asked if I was available and if they could come by to check it out. I did not respond as I was busy at work. They showed up and were mad at me because their dispatch can't confirm the appointment lol hat we never had for today. you should never make the customer feel bad that's a definite no no. we had hired somebody last Thursday who iwas actually on the roof doing the work today. They put their ladder up to go up on the roof anyways I just don't understand

These nimrods were recently hired to clean the roofs in my complex in Aliso Viejo and clear them of debris. They decided to the use lawns residents pay monthly to be watered, manicured and maintained as workspaces. So they piled their tools and ladders on top of our grass areas while trudging on them in heavy work boots. Then they smashed and pulverized loose tile shingles by beating them against our lawns, damaging the landscaping. Who trained these idiots and where are their supervisors? Our HOA is now looking for a different provider.

Watch Out ... they are working on my roof and when I've asked the guys on site for clarification about the scope of work, they defer to their off site supervisors. When attempting to communicate with the supervisors, they become defensive and tend not to listen. When I asked to speak with the owner, Aaron Antis, none of the supervisors would provide his direct number. Very poor customer service!

After today's rainfall, the ceiling that management claimed had been repaired started leaking heavily once again. This is now the fourth time this issue has occurred. This ongoing problem is extremely frustrating and unacceptable, especially with the holidays approaching and so close to Christmas. Who is responsible for addressing this recurring failure and ensuring a proper, permanent repair?

This company wouldn't return our calls most of the time. They waterproofed and coated the decks but water comes into the house. We have been trying to get them to honor their warranty for about 8 months, since the first rain after the job. They strung us out and won't honor their warranty. They want us to pay $2,0000+ for what they were supposed to stand behind. Don't use these people!!!!

Pure incompetence only covered 1/2 the unit they were sent out to cover. Leaving exposed board visible from afar. Rain came last night and further wrecked our condo. Please see attached photos before deciding to let them wreck your home too!

If you want your job not getting done Antis is the company to call. They are completely informal and unprofessional. They can't even schedule a service and just keep you on the hook. I strongly advise against using them.

Either the owner or a lead contractor peed on my patio. I assume because they weren't fired for it when I complained. Photo included. Also poor work overall and largely uses subcontractors.

Stucco damaged which allowed for a rat infestation here is the antis fix ed but the wind allowed tiles to lift giving access to the rodents.

I had high hopes for quality work from Antis Roofing, but my brand new tile roof leaked after the first rain. Water was coming through my ceiling lights and on to my nice flooring. I am now having to deal with possible mold and damage. What a hassle!

2/9/2022: Update: After I posted my comment below, I heard from Antis roofing (Travis) on Friday and they came out today to start the repair. The job is not done, as they have to order a part, but I am thankful that things are heading in the right direction. Thus I increased their review from a one star to three. Fingers crossed the repair will be complete in about a week. 2/4/2022: Not a great experience with this company. I moved to a condo and the very next day a major leak started in the living room. They came out right away but said the leak was only caused by a window when in fact it was the chimney cap and the window was a minor issue. Over a month has passed and they cannot even get the proposal done correctly. If you have a choice, do not use this company. I tried to call for an update and they are gone for the day 3 pm on a Friday. Poor follow through and service...avoid

EDITED 4/22/2019 A rep from Antis called me to go over everything even after I told them I no longer lived in the residence. They still wanted to resolve the situation which I was very appreciative of. They then sent me a $20 gift card and a giving card for them to donate to my favorite charity. As someone with 20+ years of customer service experience I really appreciated that they reached out and even sent a gift card, never asking me to edit or take down my review. I will not take it down because it's the truth but to me what sets companies apart is how they handle situations like this one.
