Bay Area Roofers did a great job with our roof. We had a raccoon burrow into our roof after some heavy rain. Aside from needing to repair the damage, it brought up a concern for any rotted wood that might be on the roof. Riley was very helpful during the bid process and answered all our questions. A nice bonus was that the job was scheduled sooner than expected; Sam was very helpful and helped us get scheduled quickly. On the day of the job, Herminio and Santiago were very helpful in directing their crew. They also let me know about some fascia that they recommended we replace, which we did as they showed some signs of rot. They also did a nice update to the garage roof by adding a vent to it. Overall, we’re very happy with the work that Bay Area Roofers has done for us and are relieved in the greater trust that we can have in our roof. Thank you Bay Area Roofers!
I had an outstanding experience with Bay Area Roofers from start to finish. The sales team was up-front, easy to work with, and very responsive—they patiently answered all my questions and made the process straightforward. I requested that the roof be completed in a day or day and a half, and the crew delivered exactly that. They arrived early, worked efficiently all day, and wrapped up before 6:30 PM—truly impressive for a full tear-off and replacement. They went above and beyond to protect my home and landscaping, and their cleanup was exceptional. You could barely tell they’d been there—down to raking the grass flattened by their tarps. The new roof looks fantastic, and they even hand-painted the flashing to match the color of the house. Great communication, great workmanship, and great attention to detail. 10/10—highly recommend.
I received a detailed, competitive quote within a couple days of requesting it. Also good follow through from Aaron to answer my questions before signing the contract. Re-roof was done efficiently and with excellent quality. Special care taken to make sure all was well in the attic with water heaters and other vents. I’m overall very pleased with the look of the roof. Even better than the one they did for me 16 years ago.

The entire process was smooth from the time I first spoke to one of there estimators about replacing the roof, the proposal was structured well, all of my questions were answered throughout the job and ultimately the one day turnaround on the roof. Bay Area Roofers just replaced my 14 year old roof with an absolutely beautiful new roof. I signed the contract with Braden on Thursday and the next Tuesday, Herminio and his fabulous crew put on my new roof. I must admit that I was a little nervous as this was my first time having to replace a roof. However, Nathan, the owner, was beyond kind to explain on how the process worked and even told me to contact him if I had any further questions. An owner who took the time to speak to me, the client, and put me at ease was truly impressive. Braden even showed up twice to my house during the roofing process to ensure that everything was going well and if I had any issues. That is professionalism at its very best. From the very beginning to the very end it was an extremely professional and smooth process. Herminio and the entire crew who put on my new roof were outstanding. Everyone at Bay Area Roofers are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, and kind hearted. I am overjoyed with my beautiful new roof. I even spoke to Braden about painting the outside of my house in the fall and Bay Area Roofers definitely have the job. I highly recommend Bay Area Roofers. Wish I could give them 10 stars.
Replaced my 20 year old roof this week with Bay Area Roofers. They did a great job! Several upgrades such as lead jacks were included in the bid. The price was very competitive, but I cant say enough about the quality of their management, the crew and the work. The materials used were top quality. The crew worked safe and you could tell they all worked in sync with each other. In a day and half the job was done, no extra costs, and no headaches since they will fix any leaks for 7 years besides the manufacturer's warranty. I had a ridge vent installed on my garage and my final cost was still in line with my expectations and budget. The area was cleaned up before they left, you would never know they were there. The owner and the crews are very experienced and professional and it was a pleasure doing business with them. They are a top company with excellent folks working for them. I would highly recommend Bay Area if you are considering a new roof.
The most professional roofers I have ever dealt with. Riley was my initial contact person and provided me with excellent information that I could use in making an informed decision. He provided value added suggestions which turned out to be spot on. Highly suggest working with him. Then the actual workers showed up. Again, professional hard working men. Not sure I have ever seen such highly qualified and hard working people before. Had a supervisor on the job at all times and finished the job expeditiously and in a very professional manner. They did exactly what they said they would do and more. I highly recommend Bay Area Roofers. BTW...I don't write reviews. This is my first ever. These guys were that good.
Bay Area Roofers just roofed my home and an outbuilding and I'm very pleased with their professionalism, products and warranties. They kept in touch (scheduling changes due to rain), were very careful with my landscaping, regularly checked the attic during the course of the job to make sure nothing shook loose, and did an excellent job cleaning up when the job was done - I haven't found a single nail. Their pricing is as good or better than other quotes I received, they've been a local business for 25+ years, and they're on the Better Business Bureau rated A.
Finally found my roofing company. In the past, a company ignored repair work needed and only wanted to sell an entire roof. After recent storm damage, I needed repairs quick. This company was among the fastest to get an estimator out and had the best quote. They were honest and said I still have a few years on this roof. The quality of the work was great. The job is already done, so I find it amusing a different company is just now getting back to me on sending an estimator out.
Excellent service and follow-up. All aspects of the roofing job were thoroughly explained beforehand, and everyone from office staff to sales rep to workers and final inspector were courteous and polite. Roofing crew consisted of hardworking individuals on a hot roof in 100+ degree weather. The roof was completed quickly and professionally, and follow-up was excellent as well. I would highly recommend Bay Area Roofers to anyone seeking a roof replacement.

I highly recommend this company. The sales person was very informative and not pushy at all. He made very explicit descriptions of what to expect and it was written out with great warranties. Their crew came early that morning and left with it completed in the same day and I have a very steep roof. Everyone was friendly and hard-working. The next day the foreman came by and checked to make sure that everything was to my expectations.

We had Bay Area Roofers replace everything that was wood on our house with Hardie Plank. We also replaced the gutters with seamless gutters. Every single person including contractors, painters, electrician, and supervisors worked SO hard and were very friendly! I'm so thankful we chose them and I will definitely use them again. They worked so hard and did a beautiful job!
I've had Bay Area roofers do some minor repairs on my house in the past, but we actually had a whole roof replacement due to hail damage back in December and they did a great job. Very professional crew, cleaned up well after themselves, worked easily with our insurance, and we're overall happy we picked them for the job.

I had a new patio built with a concrete slab and regular shingled roof tied into my existing roof. These guys did a great job. They communicated well and did what they promised. It turned out great. I would recommend you get a proposal from them before making your choice of contractor.

Unfortunately, this company failed to respond after 10 days to a request for a roofing inspection made through their website's "Schedule a Free Estimate" link. Estimate was/is needed for a leaking roof, and had I known ten days of my time would be wasted while waiting for a simple response, I would have taken the opportunity to find other, more responsive businesses. Sure, you're busy...we're all busy...but too busy to make contact with a potential customer? Fair enough. Hopefully you are always in a position to turn away business. Best of luck to you. To the "owner" responding to my review: First, I made a mistake in my original review; I thought I had used your online form to request an estimate when in fact I HAD called your company to request such a service. The call was made on August 30th at precisely 11:16am. The length of the call was 36 seconds, which if I remember correctly was because I was forced to leave my name and number. The call record is in my phone...it wasn't imagined. In any case, you most certainly DID receive something from me. I'm sorry you felt the need to point towards me as blame for this unfortunate circumstance, but the simple fact remains: I contacted your business, during a workday and during operating hours, and nobody bothered to call/email/text/smoke signal back to me. So...while you may have been in business for 41 years, you have also ignored at least this one potential customer. As an aside, do you really expect someone who receives no contact via your online form to also take up your operational slack and make a follow up call? Seriously? How about just improving your customer-facing processes?
After work was done, a representative of the company came by, ( I'm guessing he was the owner of Bay Area Roofers) to pick up the money for the work done. We wanted to ask him a few questions about our new roof, when he flat out told us he didn't have time to answer any of our questions. Their workers are very good at what they do, and we're happy with the work they did, just can't seem to understand the owners attitude that afternoon when he stopped by.
Ive made several inquiries both by telephone (July 11th...Voice-mail Msg) and online written inquiries (July 11, 12 & 15th). I have yet to receive a call back from this organization.
I called them two days in a row. Finally someone called me back the third day. I told them nevermind. I guess they really don't need my business
"Bay area" one would think they would serve windstorm areas with a name like that. But they do not..
Received no follow up after a home inspection
I called Bay Area Roofers about installing eight windows for my home. These windows would be for the front of the house only. The salesperson I talked to said he could not perform the work because I either had to replace all of the windows in the house now or that he couldn't take the job. His reasoning was that if he just did a section at a time they could not be price competitive. My house has many windows, thirty four to be exact. That would be an enormous amount of money if I had to replace all of them at once. What if I had a smaller home with just eight windows would he take the job then? I don't get his reasoning. Anyway he declined my request and I am so glad, because I found out later that Bay Area farms their work out to other companies. I found one who will do half of my windows now and the other half in a few months, no problem. What this really was about is getting strong armed by a salesperson who tries to bully you into replacing all of your windows now, plain and simple. I can tell you this, Bay Area missed out on a good sale, and I will never call them again for anything else. Call me lucky on this one.
I will never call Bay Area Roofers for anything. I wanted them to build a backyard patio cover for me. A very small simple cover, 5 feet by 40 feet with 3 posts, electrical outlets, lights and a place for a tv and maybe 3 fans. They didn't even have too lay down any concrete, only concrete would've been for the 3 posts. I just had my entire roof done in October 2022, which cost me less than $14k. Bay Area Roofers wanted to charge me $25k just for the patio I described. That is freaking nuts. So only use these guys if you have money to burn.
Very good follow-up and support in making a buying decision, had a little bit of issues with oversight and quality control on the job. The crew had to come back several times, but original sales person never showed back up but relied on crew to do quality checks. This failed several times and finally did touch ups myself.
Bay Area Roofers responded but did not contact us within days to set up appointment, maybe due to Hurricane Beryl related high demands.

When I say our roof looks legit and done professionally with workers who care..👏🏾 I'm am so tight with my money but we needed a new roof. We didn't only get a new roof, we got all new siding that got painted, and new seamless gutters. Top notch quality, I didn't even think I could afford. They gave us a quote with a catalog book of shingles. More than enough Infomation we needed. They made sure even after the work was done everything was cleaned up, trash taking away and no work for us. Even running the magnets several times through the yard to pick up any missing nails. All different crews respectfully took care of our property.. I would say they did step on my husband's plants but plants will grow back we got a new roof.. Time took a total of one week. April 24.25 - May 1.25 Thursday they did siding, Saturday they painted,Tuesday roof and Thursday Gutters. There was a different crew for each part a crew of people for siding, a crew of people for painting, a crew of people for the roof and a crew for gutters. Karl Bergman, explained everything in detail and made sure we new the ins and outs of what we were getting into. Hermino Escoto, made sure that the job was done correct and we approved even after each project was done. Martin, I spoke with a few times took photos of the before of where there was termite damage and old rotted wood and sent them to my phone to show me. My husband is the one who took the photos with the drone. The first night after the roof was done, I noticed how much cooler our bedroom was at night, our house is an older home from 1984 in the heart of clear lake, so insulation we had to replace but the roof alone made a difference as well. Bay Area Roofers killed it 🔥💣💥 I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a new roof, a update on siding, or new gutters. All of it.
