A great experience from start to finish - My home was damaged in a hail storm (roof, fence, garage doors, gutters, front door, windows) and it was a bit overwhelming having literally 100 contractors coming to my door. After a little research, it was obvious Blue Hammer was the right choice. From the start, the level of service was exceptional. They provided a very thorough inspection report, met with the adjuster, and worked closely to ensure all damage was captured and accounted for. John from their estimation team is a true professional, as he was very patient when answering my many questions and working with insurance to ensure I was completely taken care of. There were no surprises, only complete transparency throughout the entire process. Jose, the project coordinator is a machine - he worked tirelessly to make sure each scope was scheduled quickly and completed correctly. He worked with my schedule and always found ways to get things done! Ashley, who oversees project management was amazing. Understanding the number of customers she has, and still being able to know all the details about each claim while providing exceptional customer service is truly impressive. The install team was prompt, respectful, and tidy - my yard had more debris when my neighbor had his roof replaced than when Blue Hammer replaced my own! The quality manager - Nick, sent photos from start to finish, showing each step from shingle removal down to the decking to the finished product. Blue Hammer provided our family with great service during the replacement of our roof. Jacob assisted us with the estimate and all coordination with our insurance company. He was instrumental is getting this done. Ali was the project manager and created an up front, no surprises detail of the installation plans and payment process. Caesar was onsite during the install for quality control and sending progress updates throughout the process (awesome drone shots!). I had an excellent experience with this roofing company. From the first inspection to the final walkthrough, they were transparent, knowledgeable, and very professional. We had some pretty extensive roof damage from a recent hail storm, and Blue Hammer Roofing did an amazing job with the repair. Kyle M. really went above and beyond to make the whole process feel so simple and seamless. Kyle did an extensive inspection of the roof and the whole property to identify all damage from the storm including all of our personal property. He came out on the day our insurance adjustor was doing their inspection just to ensure they didn't miss any damage that he had already identified. The day of the roof replacement, Kyle and his team did a great job of keeping us updated every step of the way by sending texts and pictures showing their progress on the roof. He also was sure to notify us when they identified damage to roofing boards that they were only able to find after removing the old shingles. They laid tarps down across our property to catch as much roof debris as possible, and they did several sweeps after to ensure no old nails were left behind in our yard or our neighbors. Kyle even went as far as to get our old screens measured and replaced. After having a roof replacement done 6 years ago, the difference in quality and service is not even close to comparable to Blue Hammer's standard of excellence. I cannot recommend Blue Hammer roofing enough, the service is top notch and the attention to detail is unmatched. Huge thanks to Kyle and his team here in Austin!
It has been a pleasure having Blue Hammer roofing help me out with my roof replacement. Daniel did an amazing job walking me throughout the entire process. My roof actually got denied by my insurance. Daniel knocked on my door and recommended a second opinion. After his inspection he let me know that my roof was damaged from prior storm. I also didn't agree my roof was ok because everyone in my neighborhood were getting their roofs replaced. He then proceeded on the next steps of doing a full Rein inspection using his phenomenal supplement team. Which led to my roof being approved by insurance from the amount of hail damage that was there. I really do appreciate Blue Hammer roofing throughout the whole process. I wasn't even home during the installation and they had their quality team member shooting me updated photos in a thread who in was created the day before the install. I highly recommend Blue hammer roofing. Definitely for Daniel Franklin given he is well experienced and knowledgeable with the entire process. He made getting my roof replaced a breeze. North Texas hale storm came through our neighborhood with significant damage to several houses in the neighborhood. We had every roofer in the DFW canvassing the neighborhood. I was skeptical of everyone knocking on the door. Blue Hammer shows up, Aly and Mo. I kept trying to get rid of them and Aly just kept talking and what he said made sense and more sense and I invited them into my home. I started listening and could not be happier with the service we received. They helped navigate the red tape between insurance and bank and roofer and home owner. I was kept up to date and was never pressured to do anything. Blue Hammer said 1 day - and as i watched all the houses around me get their roof replaced and not one of them were in and out in 1 day. So I apologize to the QC inspector that arrived at my home at 6:45 am and I did not return until 6 pm. I did not think they could get it done in a day. But they did! Clean, everything as it was when they arrived.
The Blue Hammer organization did a fantastic job. They handled all insurance process details, and installed my roof on time and on budget. Triston took care of all administrative details and kept me informed through out the enter process, and was always available to answer all my questions and concerns. Isai the QC Manager who was in charge of the actual tear off, cleanup and new roof install was excellent. His 12 man crew worked like a well oiled machine from start to finish. Blue Hammer is a 10 star roofing company (on a 0-5 star scale). The organization from top to bottom has been above and beyond. The salesperson, project manager, all contractors, and the roofing team amazed me. I am sure I missed some people, but every person I came in to contact with was customer focused. They communicated timelines well and followed throughout the whole process. As far as the actual work, the roof, gutters, staining/etc. really improved the look of the entire house. I really want to thank them for all their work and great customer service.

She got our estimate for roof replacement approved by our insurance and Syrice in finance kept us up to date on payments and paying our deductible. Verified customer: See attached photo of the company wanting my recommendation request. I was selling an house. Blue Hammer Roofing was hired by the buyer to do a roof inspection. My house failed its roof inspection due to hail damage. Brianna Gonzales (inspector and worker) told my agent that she is willing to help me file the inspection paperwork and help us through the process. I thought that was very nice. We filled the paperwork with my inspection. Briana wanted to make sure she was out there when the insurance company does doing their inspection. Once the insurance inform me what they were going to cover, I let Brianna know. She was very direct in her communication which is fine. However, I was trying to figure out a date for the roof to be install while also having the money from insurance so the money was not coming out of my pocket. Brianna was trying to work with ways of getting a photo of a check for the records and then get her to insurance check. Then she directly said, “This is a low paying job and I am only doing this job as a favor to Lisa”. I did not know who Lisa was but I assumed it was the buyer’s agent. I felt very uncomfortable. I felt disrespected due to me just being there was a paycheck with no voice. She does not care about my opinion or my business. She pressure me to pick a very soon date and I just went with it. After the call, I quickly called my agent to inform her what happen and ask who was Lisa. She did tell me that it was the buyer’s agent. My agent was not happy with what was happening. She talked to the buyer’s agent. I was looking at going with another company. I told my agent and she said due to the date change of selling the house and everything just go with this company and hopefully their work will be good. I just kept going with them. I appreciated the email that the Blue Hammer Roofing company sent to help get the owner ready for the service. No one was living in the house. I made sure there was the gate clicker on the property with the door keys that were already in the lock box that Brianna know about. I was informed by my agent that the buyer agent said the company would get the check from me. I am like oh so they are now only working with the buyer and not the seller. I know the buyer was going pay for more work that was not covered by my insurance but I still thought I was be talked to. I sent an email the week before the work was going to happen tell them the location of the clicker and my address to pick up the check but that she had to schedule an appointment with me since I do work and have meetings. The day of the work, the job manager was very nice. He sent several photos of the status of the jobs. He asked if he could get the combo for the door lock and gate access to get to part of the property. I had to inform him that his co worker has that information in the email I sent the previous week. He said ok I will get it from her. Later that day, Brianna asked about the check. I told her that I was told that she was going to be picking it up from me and again repeated that it was in the email I sent last weekend. That is twice she did not read her email. I will not refer this company or Brianna and I will not use them again. If I hear of another roofing company that has a Brianna Gonzales working for them, I will ask if it is the same person. I will not work with her again. I understand doing favors for others but you do not disrespect any party involved. The roof looked nice for the two days I owned it. However, it did not rain during that time I can not rate the quality of work.
I think this company only has high ratings because most do not understand insurance and the repair process. I have an insurance claim and I let them replace my roof. I supplemented and reconciled my claim with the insurance company myself and also got the insurance company to add GCO&P for the general contractor to help with scheduling the repairs. This company (Blue Hammer Roofing) believes they suppose to get the GCO&P for the roof portion. No, the GC gets the O&P for the entire claim. The contract with this company clearly states the RCV amount for the roof and it does not include the GCO&P amount. They are too comfortable claiming insurance proceeds they are not owed, which makes me believe this maybe a common practice. Blue Hammer called Allstate insurance to tell me to pay them the GCO&P on the roof. Allstate insurance manager stated I can not profit from the insurance claim, but agreed if I completed the repairs on the roof myself that I will be owed the RCV total. I told Allstate I am my own GC. Profiting from the claim is what Blue Hammer is trying to do by claiming work they did not complete. Profiting from the claim is claiming payment for work you did not complete. I worked as my own GC, so I am owed the GCO&P. Stay away from this company, please and Allstate Insurance too.
I would put less than 1 star if I could. This company did a great job at hiring fake friendly people who say yes to everything, but just take all your insurance money and leave you with poorly/half done jobs. These lousy salesman came after a massive storm in my area that wrecked my fence and shredded my window screens. They promised they could get insurance to cover ALL of this plus the roof, they got the money from insurance for all these things but only replaced the shingles and I had to pull teeth to get only the back fence replaced, which was practically falling into my backyard. The back fence wasn’t finished, wasn’t stained and they left all the old fence in my backyard for weeks until I got on the Blue Hammer people to pick it up. Any and every issue takes multiple calls and texts and if you rent, they will treat you like you are not an adult worth communicating to. It has now been over 6 months, the back fence has never been finished, the window screens are still wrecked, the side fence is so bad I can’t even open it.. don’t believe them. They hired an actual roofing company for a fraction of the cost they quoted the insurance company and just pocketed the difference.
I want to warn everyone about Blue Hammer Roofing based in Dallas. My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing due to their unethical practices and lack of professionalism. They did not provide any documentation for the completed work, failed to stay true to their word, and left me feeling scammed. Their representative, who went by the name “Blue,” completely ghosted us after making fake promises and failed to deliver on what was agreed. I later learned he left the company, but his actions reflected poorly on their overall operations. Please be cautious when dealing with this company. They seem untrustworthy and unorganized, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating.
They replaced our roof and it looked good but we noticed after some rain it was still leaking between the house and back porch which was our main reason for even looking to get roof replaced. They have come by and said they have fixed all they can and it should be good, they even said they were doing some water test to make sure it not leaking and guess what still is. I know my house is not new but i would expect that if i tell a roofer what leaks we are having before they come that they would make sure those issues get resolved. I am not sure if they will fully get it fixed but i will keep trying if not going to BBB
This company is a scam. They installed a new roof and I’ve since had 2 leakages in my roof. Each time they claim that their previous contractor crew screwed up. I have incurred damages to my property coz of leakage and they assured me that they will reimburse me but it’s been 6 months and they have not. Their account managers keep quitting every few months, emailed and called customer service but no response either. I plan to take them to small claims court to get my issue resolved.
We got this business card from this sales person. This is a clear sign of a Shady company that is violating the law, eating insurance deductibles which is ilegal in Texas as of 2019. Offering free roofs through the insurance. Homeowners be aware. If they can cheat the law they will cheat on your roof quality. Stay away from companies offering no out of pocket cost with an insurance claim. We will be reporting them to the Texas Department of insurance fraud today.
Blue hammer did a full roof and put our vent caps on wrong. It burnt up our water heater. Nobody would answer a call or reach out on how to fix it.
In Apr 2022, we were told by Blue Hammer Roofing's staff (Eric Guerrerb and Jaz Martinez, the Senior Director) that our roof was damaged by the tornado. They told us our damage was enough to have a new roof claim if we filed an insurance claim. Then, they said there were some damaged shingles on our roof that they needed to nail immediately. They said the fixing cost would be on the claim and that the insurance company would pay for it. I was naïve and trusted their opinion so I let them put some covers on our roof. 3 months later, of course our insurance company didn't give us a full claim for a new roof as the damage was not sufficient. Since then, no one contacted me from Blue Hammer. Three more months later (Oct 2022), two areas in my ceiling had leaks. I tried to contact Eric G, he didn't reply to me. Then, I called another professional roof guy to come to check. He checked and I was told that the rain went through the holes of the nails (the nails were raised up and had rust on the tip) that they put in, so we have leaks on our ceilings. I shouldn't have let them "fix" our roof. What they did on my roof was to make the insurance company think the damage is more severe. This company is terrible.

A Truly Outstanding Experience — Five Stars! After getting nowhere with another roofer due to poor communication, I was referred to Blue Hammer Roofing by a friend who was also using them. I reached out to Dustin one evening, and by noon the very next day he was at my home doing a full inspection. He walked me through every step of the process (costs, insurance payouts, supplements, timelines) and made sure I understood exactly what to expect, especially since this was my first roof replacement. His communication and professionalism set the tone for the entire project. That same evening, he started a group text with himself, Tanya (Project Coordinator), Jake (Estimator), and me. From that point forward, they kept me consistently updated, every other day at minimum. I always knew where things stood with the city permit (thank you, Annette!), the schedule, insurance documents, and any next steps. When my insurance company asked for a few additional forms, I sent a message to the group and received everything I needed within ten minutes. Once the city finally approved the permit, they let me pick from several available install dates. The day before the replacement, Cesar, the Quality Control Manager and site foreman, sent over helpful reminders for install day. He and the crew arrived exactly when they said they would; at 5:45 AM they were already unloading materials, laying down tarps, and protecting windows and the garage door. By 6:45 AM they were removing the old roof. Throughout the process, Cesar sent pictures and drone videos, explaining what they were working on and why certain steps were important. Every time I stepped outside to see how things were going, he was friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions. His crew worked efficiently, clearly respected each other, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do (I later learned some of them are family). Despite a full tear-off and install, they wrapped up and were gone by 1:30 PM, lunch break included. The cleanup was flawless. I walked the property afterward and didn’t find a single nail, scrap, or piece of debris. From start to finish, Blue Hammer Roofing exceeded every expectation: communication, timeliness, professionalism, and quality of work. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. If you want a company you can trust, a team that communicates, and craftsmanship that speaks for itself, I highly recommend Blue Hammer Roofing.
