So nobody likes it when they air air-conditioning goes out. And I had no idea who to call so I asked some friends and they all referred me to Cajun Bear. They were great, we schedule a time, the problem got worse. They were able to get me an even earlier. The guy got here when he said he would, he gave me a two hour window and even though he was backed up, he got there still in the window and he was fantastic. They gave me some really good options and they’re coming back to fix the problem permanently because it looks like it doesn’t just need to be serviced and needs to be repaired. Thank you very much Cajun bear.

The extremely polite and courteous service member just left after cleaning and checking everything was in tip top shape with the unit before heading into the summer months. You know when your phone rings at 10:30pm on a Saturday night from one of your tenants, that it isn't going to be a good call. Of course, the air conditioning went out one one of my units on one of the hottest days of the year AND at 10:30 at night on a weekend (all things that could have been a disaster) But Cajun Bear AC took it all into stride when I texted him to see if he could send someone out early on Sunday to get it repaired. He got back to me right away and by 10:30 am the next day, my tenant was back in cool air and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg, wins all the way around! Cajun Bear gets it done, and done well and doesn't spend time trying to sell you things that you don't need (which I appreciate given HVAC issues are not my forte!!) And charges a reasonable fee to do so. Highly recommend for your next AC need!
I highly recommend these guys! I was having repeated problems with A/C over the past 6 months and another company came out to fix it only to have the same issue happen again. They gave me a high quote and said a pump had to be replaced, didnt seem right, So I called Ricky at Cajun Bear AC Repair and he sent a guy to me with in an hour, he solved and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I didnt need pump replaced as I was told by other company, was very glad I called Ricky and think you should too for any AC install or repairs...definitely 5 Star company!
My new go-to for my AC needs! Excellent communication from the time of initial contact with Ricky, to the work for my repair with GK, to scheduling and billing with TJ. The cost/rate for work is extremely reasonable. The quality of work done during the job was exceptional. it's very apparent they all know what they are doing and they do it seamlessly well. UPDATE: I am changing my previous 5-star rating to 1 star due to a complete failure of service, breach of written guarantee, and predatory billing. The company guaranteed me in writing that a $2,425 coil replacement would resolve my home's cooling issues. The repair completely failed and the property has been left unlivable at 80 degrees. Since the installation, they have charged me an additional $315 for refrigerant to cover up installation configuration issues, and then issued a deceptive $375 quote to patch a standard utility line drywall penetration as a deflection for why the system fails to cool. When asked to honor their written guarantee, the business owner called the system 'garbage' in writing and officially stated they would not correct the issues. A formal billing dispute has been initiated through Chase Bank and an official trade practices complaint has been filed with the Florida DBPR.
Technician was pleasant and prompt. Ran an electronic leak detector over coils on my condenser and told me it was leaking. Had two other companies look at it and they both said it is not leaking there but found a huge puddle of oil from the Freon line down by the compressor. He never even noticed this. I would suggest calling another company. Their technicians are not well trained.
Work was not completed professionally. they charged to replace a wire but spliced it with existing wire and did not replace the wire. Service fee was charged after fee for service and was supposed to be applied against that fee.

I was having AC trouble and couldn’t get anyone to call me back…. it’s south Florida, there is no shortage of AC repair people nor jobs to take up. I was driving up Wilton Drive and saw a Cajun Bear AC truck. I Googled it, and sent in a service request. Ricky called me, literally, within minutes. He came out the next day and fixed it for me. I’ve been on a service plan ever since. Him or his partner always respond quickly and get me on the calendar!
