Ease of contact, return call promptly. I have substantial breathing issues. Therefore indoor humidity is a big concern for myself. I called conditioner spoke to a representative and received a call back with a time to come out to my home. They made every effort to be prompt and follow through. Their service representative Yovany is professional, and courteous. He called me just before he arrived at my home and when I answered the door he had a shoe protectors not to Mar or make any damage to my flooring. That was the least of my worries I wanted and needed the AC service. He service was second to none. He not only tested and service the system. He went above and beyond to return the same day to make the repairs. I Am so satisfied with Yovany. When you need air conditioning service I highly recommend you ask for Yovany.
We always depend on Conditioned Air to keep our air conditioning at peak performance. I have no doubt their thoroughness and attention to detail has extended the life of our unit. Today was our annual maintenance. Valdano was professional, courteous and thorough. It was a very long day for him, full of unexpected repair issues for others. I was kept informed throughout the timing status so wasn’t sitting all day waiting. I appreciated that greatly. And despite the unexpected issues throughout the day Valdano was pleasant and in no rush and gave his maintenance visit to us his complete attention.
James Reid, the tech, arrived and after introducing himself got to work on our two a/c units. James worked straight through to completion while keeping me informed of his progress. He was professional and answered my questions completely to my satisfaction. I have had several employees from Conditioned Air over 20 plus years and I have always been satisfied with their work. James is a credit to himself and Conditioned Air for the way he goes about his work I would.without question. recommend him as an excellent a/c technician.
Conditioned Air has been taking care of all things air / heat related in our home for over 7 years. Their service is outstanding whether it’s morning or night they get someone dispatched. Our service agreement includes 2 check-ups per year, and they always notify us in advance. Justin took care of us today and added a new device that will cause our drains not to clog. If you are looking for a great Air Conditioning service company with incredible, responsive, and polite representatives we highly recommend Conditioned Air.
Technician Austin Grubb was great. Appeared to do a thorough 90-120 min maintenance check of both HVAC & Plumbing systems. Our first time for plumbing maintenance & it seemed to be a good, thorough check. He is also very pleasant and articulate...clearly explained what he'd done & the couple of suggestions he had for us & why. Your survey asks how much we paid for this visit. Hard to answer since we have annual contracts for both systems so it's half of each added together. I guessed @ $200-$300.
Prompt, professional, friendly, (and very nice to my dogs too!). Seemed knowledgeable and offered honest critique about needed repairs. This is the first time we’ve used Conditioned Air for plumbing issues (water heater)- pleasantly surprised, and technician was very helpful in explaining mineral buildup issues. I was really impressed with this technician and the company.
Outstanding service! Dustin was punctual, professional, and had my A/C issue diagnosed and fixed in minutes. His communication was excellent, and he made the entire process quick and stress-free. It’s clear he knows what he’s doing and genuinely cares about his customers. If you need HVAC service, I highly recommend asking for Dustin. You won’t be disappointed!
I had such a great experience with the AC technician who came out to help us. They were punctual, friendly, and really knew their stuff. They diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and had the AC up and running in no time. The house is cool again, and I’m so grateful. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone needing AC repairs!
I was really pleased with all the folks at Conditioned Air. Kyle Pearson worked with me, answering my questions and concerns through the quotation. Winston Marlin and Fernando Marlin did the install, arriving exactly on time. They were both quick and efficient removing the old equipment and installing the new AC in about 6 hours. Great job!
We appreciate the great service provided by Conditioned Air and their service technician James Reid. within three hours of reporting that our air conditioning system wasn’t working, we had a technician at our house. Immediate issue was quickly handled, but with further diagnosis, James uncovered the root problem. Great customer focus.
The Specialist, John Panella, arrived early, clearly understood our existing system, reviewed the entire system, and explained clearly what he thought we should do. He showed us 4 potential replacement systems and helped us make an informed decision. When we had made our decision, he then arranged a prompt installation date.
Kevin, the technician was professional and courteous. He wore shoe covers which meant a lot to me. He provided useful information about the type of filter that needed replacement! Kevin ensured that I understood the information he provided and gave me an opportunity to ask questions. Overall, I had a great experience!
My technician today was Mr. Richard Gordon. He was very precise and thorough while accomplishing the task of Performing maintenance on my air-conditioning unit. He took photos of everything and explained in detail the condition and in some cases to before and after results. Esteemed and polite professional .
Josh demonstrated professionalism, diligence, and kindness. He exhibited extensive knowledge and consistently ensured that all details were attended to while keeping me informed of the progress. He went above and beyond to guarantee that our home was cool and comfortable upon completion of his work.
Thomas Greenfield was my technician and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and answered all my questions. Great job Thomas!! Working with different companies can be difficult, but when you land one with great help like this....to keep them coming! People make the difference!!
The installer, Disney and his partner, were professional and courteous. The install of the new AC system went smoothly. They protected the flooring and steps before starting and cleaned up when finished. Disney also answered all my questions I had while they where doing the install.
We have a maintenance plan setup with Conditioned Air and have routine maintenance done twice a year. The technicians are very knowledgeable and thorough. The recent visit we had Justin Whitney who was friendly and patient with our two dachshunds who desperately wanted to help.
Mia did a great job performing our 6 month a/c maintenance. She arrived promptly and was very friendly. She documented all of her work and included photos of everything. She effectively explained it to us as well. Awesome service Mia! And kudos to Conditioned Air as well!
Conditioned Air provided continuous communication from a reminder the day before , up until arrival time. The technician Glenn Trembly, was professional and extremely efficient. He was thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company.
James did a great job with the maintenance of my HVAC system. He also was great at explaining things to me which I appreciated and suggested things that would be helpful based on my needs. I would highly recommend James as well as Conditioned Air.
Les techniciens sont avenants, serviables, propres et respectueux de notre maison. Les secrétaires pour prendre les rendez-vous du service nous répondent adéquatement et suivant nos besoins..L'accueil de leur part est très apprécié.
Richard Gordon has to be one of your very best technicians. He is professional, engages the client in just the right amount of conversation(and humor), gets the appointment completed timely and never attempts to “over sell” the client.
Jailyn came to do my initial service and he was very thorough and made sure he checked and cleaned everything. I was on time and very polite and clean. I really appreciate his attention to detail. Overall a great job by Caloosa and Jailyn
Ivan was extremely professional. He spent time to discuss with me everything that needed to be addressed. He was able to successfully resolve all issues. Technicians like Ivan are why I have used Conditioned Air for the last 16 years.
If I could find a dozen technicians as professional, polite and knowledgeable as Kevin, I would probably start my own HVAC Company! Clear explanations of everything he did and some good advice for the summer months. Thank you Kevin!
Conditioned Air has been servicing our a/c for several years. Their technicians show up on time, are knowledgeable, and efficient. They explain everything very clearly and answer all my questions. I fully recommend them.
It is often not easy to find a technician in whom you have confidence but I finally did it. Ivan Martinez is very personable, listens to your questions and answers everything clearly. I HIGHLY recommend him.
Scarline came to service our units for our semi-annual maintenance. He was professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and arrived at the scheduled time. Scarline did a great job!!! Thank you Scarline!!!
Conditioned Air does a great job maintaining my system. Ivan is efficient, explains what he has done, and if any issues with the system. Is also very polite and personable. Very happy with service.
I have had Richard as a tech 4 or 5 times and been very satisfied. This time he did his work, didn't say anything about the unit pro or con. The unit is 13 years old so I requested a salesman to come out for a proposal. He said the the coil was dripping and that that was not normal, that it could be caused by low freon or a dirty coil. That night, I put a pan under the drip and collected a sunstantial amount of water. Richard also didn't notice the ultra violet light was put. I am having another tech today to check unit. I've used Conditioned Air for 9 years so this has been dissapointing. UPDATE : Richard checked the system on Wednesday, on Friday, Ivan came by to find the issue causing the leak. He immediately saw two cracks in the main drain pan. According to Richard's notes, he cleaned the drain pan but for some reason chose not to tell me about the cracks. I was mistaken, the unit is 11 years old, not 13 and is still cooling but needs to be replaced because repair is not possible. UPDATE 2: NEW $12,173 AC installed today. When I was going to bed, I heard a buzzing noise that I thought must be the refrigerator or AC. The sound wasn't coming from either so I walked around until I found it. The noise was coming from inside a wall and the wall was HOT. I tried turning off all breaker switches I thought were for the area but the sound didn't stop until I TURNED OFF THE AC BREAKER. Internet says Conditioned Air is open 24 hours. I think they used to have an answering service but not anymore, just Ai Cody and a recorded woman and these two just pass you back and forth. I left a message with the woman and hopefully will get a call back and service first thing in the morning June 18 so I can enjoy my new AC and not have a house fire.
Unfortunately, my experience with Conditioned Air has been very disappointing. A service technician employed by the company damaged the entrance gate at the gated community I manage. The incident was reported to the company the same day it occurred, and photo documentation was provided to clearly verify what happened. Once the repairs were completed, an invoice for approximately $200 was submitted for reimbursement. Despite multiple follow-up emails over the course of nearly two months, the matter remained unresolved. Rather than promptly reimbursing the Association for the damage caused by its employee, the company ultimately responded that it would submit the matter to its insurance carrier for review and asked that the Association's Insurance Carrier reach out to them. Needless to say, the Association is not filing an insurance claim over a $200.00 repair. After acknowledging that, the company stood firm and repeated the same information in a follow up email. The cost of the repair was minimal, yet obtaining a response and seeking reimbursement became an unnecessarily lengthy and frustrating process. Businesses should be willing to take responsibility when their employees damage to a property and resolve such matters promptly and professionally. Based on my experience with the company's handling of this situation—not the quality of its HVAC services—I can only give one star.
Had several technicians come to diagnose why my AC keeps shutting down. The first one came out late last year and rebuilt the air handler. Ran fine for a while and the trouble started again. Had another tech come out he said the drain was clogged ( not true ) and charged me $199 for the visit that was in June. Ran fine then same problem happened again. Called again and the sent another tech out, who said the return line is to long. He scheduled my for them to come out and shorten the return, they came on a Monday and made the repair, the next day it was off again. They sent another tech out and it still did not get fixed. I called several times and asked to speak to a manager, and my request fell on dead ears. So far I have call 6 times and asked to speak to some one and finally got a call from a service manager and he said he would forward it to the production manager and he should be calling me. Guess what still no call. I don't think I should be paying $ 199 for something that's under warranty. The last tech Daniel I think finally fixed the issue. All I want is my money refunded to me
Approximately 1 year ago we had a new AC unit installed by Conditioned Air. In October of this year, we noticed a wet spot on our garage ceiling where the AC unit is housed. My husband went into the attic to investigate, and the drain line was not inserted into the AC unit! So, for an entire year the drain line was dripping into the insulation then into the drywall ceiling. We have contacted Conditioned Air numerous times since the initial discovery and Lynn at the Ft. Myers office keeps giving us the runaround- she’ll call back, let me check into that and guess what? We never hear back from her! In the initial call with Conditioned Air, we were scolded for not purchasing the maintenance package when the new unit was installed. However, the maintenance package wouldn’t have helped the improperly installed drain line. Due to the poor work installed by Conditioned Air we had to cut out the drywall and replace it and the insulation. This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered!
Conditioned Air installed and inspected our HVAC unit in 2023. We had a maintenance agreement with them for two years. They did two checks per year. They did not install filters or offer too. Just attic and outside work. Our heat did not come on during the cold snap. Called them. 1. Charged us 200$ truck call. 2. Technician Time billable by hour. Turns out when Conditioned Air checks your unit, they don't check the heat. Just cooling and then just to see if its functional not how well it functions. Their technician had to rewire the unit calling Bryant for instructions and going to his truck for wires. He refused to charge us for his time as he said " It was never installed correctly". Their office says they might refund some of the truck fees but probably not. Its been three weeks and not. I see their trucks driving in Fort Myers and hope its the last time. If you have them Fire Them. Find somewhere else that guarantees their work and knows what they are doing.
The service tech on this visit did a multi step inspection of the unit. I realized he was thorough, more so than all the previous technicians. This led me to believe the techs are hit or miss when they do inspections, depending on the technician. I live in a community that has just posted multiple reviews on Conditioned Air on how they are telling everyone their “capacitors” are failing and when getting a second opinion they are getting scammed. Not sure I’ll continue to use them. I was told and replaced my capacitor last year and now I’m wondering if it was necessary. This tech gets 5 stars the others way less than that along with not knowing if I was scammed. Conditioned Air should give you all the steps they should perform on a visit so you can check their work. Unfortunately this isn’t how it should work.
Richard came for PMA on Tuesday, February 17th. Our HVAC system is three years old and we have never had a problem with it. He installed a new thermostat and didn’t tell us or about the placement which requires us to fill a screw hole and repaint beside the thermostat. Next day the AC would not go on and we had to call for a further service call on the 18th. Duane came and showed us that the lines were plugged causing a water overflow, the system shutdown and a stain on our floor. He flushed the lines and the unit is now working. What compensation should I seek?
If I could give this company ZERO STARS I would. My 76 year old mother has been without air-conditioning for going on 7 days now. This company sends out people that say they fix the problem but then the following day it's broken again this has happened 3 times so far for a total of close to $3 THOUSAND DOLLARS in "repairs". For a system that is less than 5 years old and supposedly under warranty!!!!! Do not use this company they are taking advantage of the elderly and others in sure!!!!

They failed on all the promises their website quotes (highly trained & experience employees, competency, and round the clock availability when you need us must)! They were not there for us 24/7 when we needed them!!! We called them on Wednesday to report our air conditioner was running constantly and the air blowing out wasn't cold. They said they were extremely busy so someone would have to come out Thursday between 4-6. Nobody showed up so we called them. They said well, we can send someone tomorrow at 8am. Martin didn't show until 9am yesterday. My husband told him he suspected it was a coolant leak so he went outside and checked. He came in and said he couldn't find a leak but had to add coolant. My husband asked about it and he said well it might be a pin hole so you'll need to just watch it and let us know and left. He never even opened the front of the unit in our house to check anything!!! In his report he wrote, he suspected a leak so checked and couldn't find it, but added coolant. Then said unit was working properly. He came at 9am and left at 9:30am! Our air conditioner started doing the same thing so my husband called and got the answering service. We got a call back this afternoon she read his report and acted like why we were calling? My husband said again, it's not fixed. She said we'll have someone come out on Wednesday to look at it, but you'll have to pay another service charge since you don't have a service contract. We said why do we have to pay another service charge since it wasn't fixed plus you can't get someone here till Wednesday?? She said yes we're busy. Their customer service sucks and their technician, Martin, is either incompetent or was too lazy to do his job so we now will have to wait till Wednesday and pay again!!! That is totally unacceptable!! We'll never use this company again!!! We called Gulf Shore Cooling and the guy wasn't here 5 minutes and found the leak. Surprise, he actually opened the unit in our house and there was the leak!!! Again, we'll never use Condition Air again!!!
Well, to start with be careful using their annual maintenance plan. I caught the technician who serviced my home on October 24th, 2025 failing to replace the filter which is an important and basic part of the plan. Then, in January I learned that they hard charged my credit card for renewal of my maintenance agreement without my authorization. Also, I still had one more maintenance call paid for which suddenly get deleted from their computer system. I talked to someone at their customer service number on January 27th who told me they needed approval from the manager to give me a refund. He (Kaleb) called me on the 28th to say he approved my refund. No apology for what happened or no effort to try to retain me as a customer even though I had been working with them for 15 years. As of this morning I still have not seen my refund and I'm waiting for a call from Caleb or Ginger (the managers) to update me on its status. I am concerned that the company may be having financial issues given it's taken this long and multiple phone calls to try to get this simple transaction done. Something has changed at this company and I'd be careful as there are lots of options for HVAC service out there. 12:17 PM I did hear back from Gabby in the Customer Service Dept who followed up and even sent me an invoice verifying my refund. It's funny how the managers in this company don't call the customer back and instead put that on the people who answer the phones. I'm sure they prefer not to hear feedback from the customer first hand, it's easier to hide behind "I'm too busy" to talk to the customer. In any case it looks like they processed my refund after 14 days and 5 hours phone calls. Amen!
Buyer beware. I purchased a A/C unit from Conditioned Air in April 2022. Buy April of 2023 my unit developed a leak which was repaired. Buy July of 2023 my unit developed another leak. A technician came out said he could not find a leak but I need refrigerant. He added 2 lbs. of refrigerant. Cost $563, $199 service call $364 for refrigerant. When I asked since I lost that much refrigerant where did it go. His answer "that's a good question". Under description of work the technicians wrote "System is cooling properly at this time but can't guarantee how long it will last". So I spent $563 and nothing has been resolved and this is my SECOND LEAK and my unit that's two years old. I called to speak with a manager to discuss my concerns. He did return my call, left a VM. I returned his call 3 times leaving a message each time and waited for a return call. Never received one. I think it's highly unusual for an A/C unit that's 2 years old to develop 2 leaks, apparently Conditioned Air thinks it's normal. $563 spent with the likelihood the problem will persist.
Our A/C went out on 9/4/23; the unit was newly installed by CONDITIONED AIR in April of 2023. It took approximately 4 days to get the that issue resolved when it was then determined that a new lineset was needed. The work on the lineset work was completed on 10/6/23. Complete payment was then made to CONDITIONED AIR. A very small portion of the delay was not Conditioned Air's fault. However, I received a registered letter dated 11/7/23 indicating that a lien was potentially being placed on my Lexington condo because of non payment to Sunbelt Rentals by CONDITIONED AIR for rental equipment used to replace the lineset to my condo. On November 14, 2023, I used the CONDITIONED AIR website to address my concerns to the attention of the CEO, Senior Vice President of Service and Senior Vice President of Operations. As of this writing (11/24/23), I have NOT received an answer to my inquiry. The website indicated that I would receive a response shortly. Faced with complete silence (no response whatsoever),not sure what direction to pursue.
Had service call in may for issue with unit that was under warranty and cost me $250! system still was not working correctly and finally died a few days ago, house got up to 95 degrees yesterday and pushing it again today. Call CA and was told there is a 99$ Diagnostic plus labor even with warrantied parts, wait...you install a unreliable unit, technician does not verify their work and then charge when it starts failing? Found wire coming from thermostat that was not connected and was causing contacts to slam repeatedly and finally fail. This also puts stress on unit. So now if compressor is shot we can replace it under warranty +99$ +labor +professional install...wait a professional would check their work.....+install and we will see you shortly! oh and builders get this very unreliable unit....we will cut you a break! and will install it too!!!
During a normal A/C service the technician suggested replacing the capacitor. The replacement capacitor was physically smaller than the original and did not fit in the hold down strap. The technician left it in the box and tried to secure it with the strap. I questioned his work and he said this is how we do it. I immediately called to speak with a supervisor but there was no one available and no one called me back. I stopped at their shop and talked to a supervisor. He sent another technician out to secure the capacitor. When the second technician opened the service panel the capacitor had fallen through the strap and hanging by the wires still in the box it came in. Watch their work if you use them. The first technician did terrible work. Who knows what else they did wrong.
I called Conditioned Air last week because the a/c in my building was down. They finally showed up 4 hours later than scheduled, and after going to the wrong store ( I gave them my complete address and business name). By the time they got here, it was after 5 pm. They said I had some issues, but they would give me a quote the next day. Next day came and went, no quote. I called on Friday. Spoke to someone who just answers the phone- said she would get with techs and supervisor and give me an update. It's now Tuesday. Nothing. Not a word. I guess they don't need my business after all! I called another person. They will be here today, give me a quote today, and hopefully fix it today.
They deserve zero stars. They improperly installed my AC unit in my new construction home and lucky I was still under warranty with the builder, they came out and made the repair, 6 months later I have my unit serviced only to find out that the either did not properly repair the unit or did not add enough refrigerant and when I called to complain the manager was rude and implied it's another leak... on a 2 year old unit, unbelievable. Good customer service would have been to offer to come and take a look at what they do not do correctly. Poor excuse for a company and I will write a review on every possible platform about this company.
If I could give this company ZERO STARS I would. My 76 year old mother has been without air-conditioning for going on 7 days now. The technician did not address price before he did service, and just walked into my house without knocking on the door when he was done and walked across my house. Upset me as I was home alone. I would have come out to garage if he announced at door he was finished. I CALLED AND ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR to discuss my unhappiness several times and no one called back. Incredible customer service they have. Will not be renewing my annual contract.
The Planned Maintenance program through Conditioned Air is a scam. When they have you sign up, they tell you the cost covers two maintenance visits per year. What they do not tell you is that those maintenance visits expire! Even though your contract may last for the year, they will not honor the two maintenance visits. There are many other A/C companies to call in Fort Myers. Conditioned Air should be a last resort.
Horrendous service1 had them for my brand new home for 3 years & after an a/c failure, realized they NEVER cleaned the condenser for 2 of those years. Failed to honor contract. Then I made a complaint & they said they would come out & take care of it- NEVER showed & NEVER calls back. STAY AWAY
quick to get your credit card, slow to provide services. I have to call several times to find out the status of my work order, but they put me on hold every time until I disconnect. Think twice if you plan a maintenance services.
Called for AC service. 3 days out for service. Could not even talk to a tech about a problem. That is poor customer service. Was going to enroll in a maintenance plan.
Very expensive for small jobs when in need! We have a yearly service contract with Conditioned Air and they still charged us $125 for coming over & diagnostic the thermostat that we knew was not working properly when we called them. They charged us another $385 for labor and a thermostat that cost less than $40! (Honeywell T40 Pro, Photo is attached) that is about $345 for labor, that took 30 mins. to install! The total cost was $510 for this small job, even though we have a srevice contract Condition Air! When I asked the owner why so expensive, he replied that we need to make money!!! We will not be extending the contract with Conditioned Air as they will take advantage when needed!!
Called toll free number to make service appointment and was told it would be over 2 months. I then went to website for the Ft Myers office and wasted my time in an on-line chat with a company rep., stating I am interested in a service contract. The rep told me someone would call me back. This was on saturday and as of end of day on Tuesday I have not heard a thing. I will deal with a company that actually wants new business.
I feel like I got taken advantage of. This company does my annual maintenance and had visited this condo less than 3 months earlier. My tenant noticed the air conditioning running all the time so I called Conditioned Air and they came out and determined we needed a new thermostat. 99.00 service call and 168.00 for the thermostat I have to say the company is prompt but I feel I was overcharged for the thermostat and a 99.00 for a service call to a customer who has a yearly maintenance agreement is too high. This customer will be finding a new air conditioner company when the year is up.

Mr. Duane was very nice, amicable and explained things. I suspected a drain clog. I know I had maintenance but I have had it happen from time to time and I'm grateful that at least the sensors pick up on it and shut the system down. Because the last thing I want is a leak and my ceiling as he mentioned and then having to replace the drywall. It could also be much worse and cost much more. And I told him as I am to all of you guys as well, that you're willing to have people work the evening shift because I know it's rough. I used to work those shifts and it can be hard. I'm sure it's an adventure. But I'm grateful for you having someone and willing to come out because well I am a wuss, I don't like to go without air for long. Also cuz I have small little pets and I want to make sure they'll be okay too. So once again thank you so much!
