So I recently signed back up for their maintenance plan and Anil was here today. He did an amazing job. He worked very hard and said everything looks great. It’s nice to have a company that you trust and will take good care of you. We love our new air-conditioning system with two speeds, and we even got a $2000 tax rebate. Corey and his team at Cool by Design are second to none when it comes to Quality and Service. The entire process form the first visit for estimate to final install was EXCEPTIONAL! Corey and the office kept me informed every step of the way. Also, Corey spent time with me to educate and answer all my questions on the MinI Split product and install. Communication was amazing and they care about their customer having all the information they need for the entire project. The Install team was knowledgeable and efficieant and did a excellent job. They had my Mini Split installed, up and running in about 4 hours. The project manager (Dan) showed up an hour later to check out the work on the install (Quality Control) nice touch. Dan spent time with me, making sure I was happy with the project and made sure I understood how the system works and answered all my questions. We had our whole duct work replaced, air handler deep cleaned and a new air return box installed by Cool by Design last week. This is a company that values excellence of work and relationships with their customers. Every step of their process reflected this value. During the initial inspection, Corey Mullins, the owner, obviously extremely knowledgeable about HVAC system, was very direct in his assessment and recommendation of the scope of work, no sales pitch. We signed the contract the next day and scheduled. Throughout the process, Corey was always effective in his communications with us, and they went out their way to accommodate our needs by providing us a portable unit, sanitizing the attic, and they even cleaned our compressor the last day without asking. The air in our house is now cool, dry and fresh as a result of their excellent work!

Corey and his team are the best!!! We bought the newest technology they offer which is the side discharge inverter ac units and high are very efficient and very quiet. He is very sophisticated and technical when it comes to heat load, mold resistance, dew point calculation, seer2 ratings, financing options, insulation, humidity concerns…everything. I’d highly recommend this company for new installs and servicing. They are not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Corey values his staff and pays them well as they are all very well trained. They were very clean for multiple installs and went above and beyond to get things perfect. We opted for specific add ons which you 100% should consider and they never tried to upsell us stuff we didn’t legitimately need. See pictures from their very clean install.

Cool by Design came highly recommended. Corey the Owner showed up to see the project in order to prepare an estimate. Estimate was detailed and received via email within a day or two. Corey is definitely an expert and good listener. Condo building is 50 years old and has pancake units. We had the unit replaced and the vents encapsulated. We also had the air intake corrected to pull in air from the condo, not inside of the enclosed ceiling. Office staff Robin was good with communication, completing our HOA approval forms and getting the permit. Dan the project manager reviewed the installation as it was happening and handled the permit inspection. The inspector remarked at how good everything looked. Very thankful to have a good system, correctly installed with fresh air.

Our first experience with Cool by Design was wonderful. Chris our service technician arrived 2 hours after we called to request service for our AC unit. He explained the problem (fan motor burnt out) along with the two options for repair. Option #1 use the warranty and wait for the manufacturer to send a new motor (no AC for 4-5 days in South Florida) and a cost of $600.00. Option #2 purchase a new motor and repair immediately at a cost of $1,200.00. We decided option #2. Chris was well trained and very professional. As our first experience with this company, I was impressed at how fast they arrived, and that he had a new fan motor in inventory on his truck. I would strongly recommend Cool by Design to friends and family as our first experience worked out really well.

For two years I have used Cool By Design. They would check my aging system bi-annually and all would be fine. In November, Anil notified me the coolant was down. I figured I would purchase a new, more energy efficient Central A/C unit. I was very satisfied with my Rheem and RUUD, basically the same company, was recommended. I was also interested in getting the $2,000.00 tax credit. Corey let me know that it was expiring this year, so my April purchase became a December one. My new A/C system is amazing and super quiet. The wonderful thing about Cool By Design is if you have a question or a problem, they are right there to help. I know there are probably cheaper companies, but I am sure their customer service will not be as good.

My A/C stopped working so I called Cool By Design around 4 pm Thinking they would most likely come out the Next day . I spoke with Corey and he advised me he would stop by at around 5:30 pm on his way home . This was above and beyond the call of duty. Corey troubleshooted my system . Got it working and told me I had to replace a bad wire. Excellent work !!!! I will be using Cool By Design for all my HVac needs . Thanks for a job well done I had Cool By Design come out to replace some wiring in my A/C unit . They were punctual , knowledgeable and did a great job. Second time I have used them . I would highly recommend them . They know what they are doing and get the job done . Five star rating .

16 hour move from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale area - was not looking forward to potential snags in setting up our three pieces of SMART furniture…. This service was exceptional beyond words! The team fit us into their schedule one day early - were pleasant and professional. The new sofa and recliner were fresh out of the box … set up in less than 30 minutes (and included SEVERAL pieces plus technical considerations). They actually set up the Sleep Number bed faster and more efficiently than the manufacturer’s crew did in Indy! Without hesitation, HIGHLY recommend this service - they are THE BEST!

Corey and his workmen from Cool By Design replaced all the ducts in our house, re-insulated a 4-ton AC unit and moved it from the attic into the garage, and replaced a 2-ton unit in the house. Corey initially took the time to explain everything to me including the different options that I had and was fair with the price. The workmen came on-time, were pleasant and courteous, and cleaned up any debris they created. The job was finished in the time frame Corey set, and everything went well. I definitely would use them again if necessary and highly recommend them!

What a pleasure it is to work with a company that has experienced personnel. My A/C had stopped running, I called and within a day, I had a technician at my house. Chris McConnel, he was cordial, took his time checking on everything in my A/C. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and even checked to see if my unit was under warranty. He didn't try to sell me a new unit, but quickly found the part, installed it super fast, and left the work area pristine. I am sticking with this company!

Cool By Design led by Corey served us in an excellent manner for 2 separate contracts the first replacing entire system equipment and ducts and the second done 6 months later to replace equipment only and refurbish ducts. The fact that I used 6 months later for major work is a testimony in itself. Cool By Design knows what to do, they tell what they think needs to be done with options and then they do what was agreed. I highly recommend Cool By Design for repairs and service.

Our AC went out on a long holiday weekend, and our existing AC company failed to show for their scheduled appointment on Tuesday morning after the holiday. Cool By Design was able to have someone out within 3 hours to take a look at our system. The technician arrived ahead of schedule, was very professional and friendly, and fixed the problem very quickly and at a reasonable cost. Overall we were very pleased with the prompt and professional service we received.

From our initial consult with Corey through the entire removal of the old system and installation they were: timely, professional, courteous, clean, and thorough!! Our entire experience with Corey and his team has been excellent. The level of customer service we experienced from their entire team is refreshing. We originally had a mini-split installed in our master bedroom in April of 2025 (which as been great) but we called them out to work on our central air as well - and the experience as just as good. Solid group and they really do stand behind their work. Would highly recommend these guys.

Robin and Anil were fantastic! Robin was quick and communicative working out getting things scheduled. She even saved me money by suggesting a better way than what I wanted to do. Then Anil came and crushed it and, unlike the last place that wanted to change the compressor, he charged the unit and got it back up and running with 30 minutes. Very professional and quality company all the way around!

This company is great from the top down, the office staff is super nice and always so helpful. The technicians are great, we always have kids in the house and they are very patient and kind with the kids. Also they helped us out with a system to resolve the humidity & mold when it was in the units and ducts and that means everything since we have had mold Illness from past exposures.

Moved to south Florida little over 2 years ago. Have been remodeling our home, from bathrooms, window replacement, stucco and painting. Have to say not very lucky with contractors. Cool by Design is by far the BEST vendor I have EVER dealt with. This is coming from someone who has hired vendors/subs for 20+ years to complete various home projects.
