***** - Absolutely recommend. Will use them again without hesitation. I had an outstanding experience with East Coast Air Conditioning and want to give them the praise they deserve. After calling several other A/C companies, (many of whom didn’t even answer the phone or told me it would take days to get someone out) East Coast Air picked up on the first ring and told me they could have a technician out in just a couple of hours. They not only showed up quickly, but also diagnosed the issue immediately and had the needed part in stock at their nearby warehouse. Despite it being after hours for most companies, they completed the repair the same day!! The technician was friendly, explained everything clearly, and left me feeling informed and taken care of. What really impressed me was that they went the extra mile to follow up with me the next day and even provided detailed documentation directly to my insurance company so I could file a claim under my equipment breakdown coverage. Living in South Florida, going without A/C for very long just isn’t an option. It gets way too hot, way too fast! I’m also very picky about customer service and often find myself disappointed these days. But East Coast Air blew me away with their professionalism, speed, and follow through. Once I find the right company, I’m a lifelong customer, and I’ve definitely found that here.
Iv been using East Coast Air for over 10 years and they have been nothing short of amazing. I have a few rental properties and every time I call them they come the same day or if it’s later in the afternoon they come early the next day. All the workers are very professional and courteous and always clean up after themselves. Prices are very fare and they always point you in the right direction in other words they won’t put a bandage on your unit and fix it for a month so they have to come back. if you need something done that will save you money in the long run they will recommend it so it’s less out of your pocket in the future. Also if your parts are under warranty they will get the parts for you and just charge the labor costs to install it. It’s hard to find good help these days so it’s nice to have a company that is responsible and not trying to take advantage of you and I feel like East Coast Air is that company you can trust. I have many times and would recommend them to anyone and have always had great feedback from the people that I have recommended them to.
I want to share how satisfied I am with East Coast Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. Today the technician came to complete the maintenance on my AC system. The plan includes two visits per year and they check and clean everything. He cleaned the air handler which includes the coils, fan motor area and the drain system which keeps the water flowing and keeps algae from forming and clogging the system. Then he went outside and cleaned the unit. He washed out the debris, the coils and drain. This is the second maintenance contract for my AC as I purchased my AC over 5 years ago from East Coast and it still looks like it's brand new. I see the value in maintaining my unit so it will continue to work efficiently. I want to recommend having a maintenance plan as I am so happy that I don't have to worry about drain clogging or the unit not performing at its peak as I know this plan gives me confidence during these exceptionally hot months. Long story short, I came home from out of town to find that my house was at 80 degrees and my AC wasn't working. I googled search AC repair companies and came across East Coast Air. I called them on Sunday afternoon, and to my surprise, I was speaking to the owner, Scott. We set up an appointment to have one of his technicians come to my residence. The day after the technician came by, my AC unit was acting up again. I called East Coast Air again at around 10 PM Tuesday and spoke to Scott again. He sent another technician the next day and took care of the AC unit. Both times, the technicians were very courteous and seemed very knowledgeable. Not having met him or know him personally, Scott appears to be an honest person and really cares about taking care of his customers. The cost of the first service call was very reasonable, and he didn't charge me for the second service call which I greatly appreciated. East Coast Air has been great and they have earned a customer for life. 5 stars all the way!
This is a delayed review on my part. We purchased a new AC unit in march in worry about our old air conditioning unit giving out over the summer. My husband did a lot of research looking up companies with a good reputation and good reviews. We were not disappointed with the installation of the air. We did have to have someone come an additional time to do the dry wall repair, which I think may have been a subcontractor. He did not show up on the first day he was supposed to. I had to have the appt rescheduled and he showed up promptly on that day. He did a good job but was not overly pleasant. We had a hiccup with financing, however, I will say, they rectified the situation impressively. I am a stickler for transparency and I will say, they stood by their word in the end. That was super impressive to me in today's world. Additionally, as I know I can speak very sharp at times, the office manger was very pleasant at all times. We highly recommend East Coast Air.
I initially called for a service of my air-conditioning however when the technician arrived, my unit was too old and it was a highly recommendation that I obtain a ac new unit they sent me quotes for different types of units and recommended one for my townhouse. The technician was very patient with me with all my many questions and asked them to the best of his ability. I was given an opportunity to use their hundred percent financing. which help with my decision to continue with their services even the day of installation there was a technical problem not a fault of theirs, but they stayed on site until it resolved until 9:00 pm The technician had to call his superior to come out to assist him. Look no further, they are the best. Javier is a rock star A/C Subject Matter Expert and deserve a raise. Our A/C was Tango Uniform on the hottest day of the year. I was in the military for 23 years and endured some of the hottest places on the planet. This Florida heat reduced me to a helpless sweaty mass. Our regular A/C team quoted us for a new A/C without even taking a look at it and said it would be a few days to even take a look, I would have needed a coffin if I had to wait that long. I reached out to East Coast A/C, they arrived same day and diagnosed the issue as a bad condenser, saving us thousands of dollars. The team went right to work, sourcing the part and worked in the hot sun the very next day. They wasted no time and quickly fixed the issue. Very professional and super knowledgeable. My husband and I were pleased to find East Coast Air. They were the only company we could find that would service our aging Mitsubishi mini split systems. I was able to locate manufacturer parts that are no longer stocked as standard practice in most dealer warehouses, and East Coast Air installed them successfully. They have also come out for some minor adjustments and been fairly responsive. Further to that, one of the best decisions we ever made was to sign up for their service plan for our two mini split systems. They respond to calls almost immediately and the service is fabulous. I can't say enough positive about the tech who most recently visited us on two occasions, Armando Silva. A great tech and a wonderful human being!
They just came out for a diagnostic but I could tell that they knew what they were doing. Unfortunately they didn't get very far since I live in a Condo HOA that requires management approval for roof access, only Monday through Friday 9-5, and today is Friday at 730! I spoke with the office to arrange a 'second opinion ' on Monday since I have a contract with another company that is coming out Monday morning. The office explained everything so clearly and the reviews are so good that I think it's wise to get their expert opinion on such an important matter... I got such a good feeling about them just from the workers who came out and from the person in the office that spoke with me.
I’ve had air-conditioning repair people clean my split units before never as thorough as they have cleaned it. The technician that came out I believe his name was garçon was excellent. I will refer them to everyone in my building and everyone I know with split units for the yearly contract. And to top it off I was in Florida only a few days I had to come back to New York and they fit me in the schedule and took care of everything that I needed. I am extremely happy with them and I would refer them to anyone who needs any kind of air-conditioning work done👍👍👍👍👍
Last July during An incredible heat spell I lost my air conditioning due to an electronic failure outside my home. When I tried to get my air conditioning company, the ones who had installed, the unit not only were they unavailable, but they were nasty and rude somehow, I found East Coast air conditioning online. They were kind they came right out to my home.and fixed the situation. I have used them since that time and they’re always on time responsive knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone. East Coast customer service is really fantastic. Last year, they installed my new residential AC unit next-day as it was an emergency in this heat to cool my house. Recently I had them come by same day to inspect a leak. Everyone is friend and very responsive. Pricing may be on the higher end but you get what you pay for! My only gripe is the tech who came told me the wrong size filters to buy so I had to waste some time doing a return at Home Depot. I called the office and they checked the correct size for me.
These guys are amazing! The air was blowing hot - and rather than replace the entire unit they sold us a replacement motor. They came out for a 6 mos clean and maintenance that came with the service and Gaston was amazing - he really took his time to make sure the unit was running properly. He noticed a little vibration in the motor and scheduled a second visit to take care of that. Who takes the time to make sure the job is done right any more? These guys do. So cool… so, so happy.
Our AC unit wasn’t working properly. East Coast was able to come out the same day and diagnose the problem. Next morning they arrived to perform the work. They sent text messages to notify us of arrival time, and they came within the time window we had been given. Price was reasonable given the quick response. We’ve used this company for more than 10 years. Very responsive and thorough. In Florida, the AC unit works hard - it’s good to have a reliable company to fix any problems!
These guys were great! They put so much effort into their work and the results were perfection! They were great to work with - knowledgeable, nice, honest and punctual! I tried 2 other companies which provide a temporary fix until I found this outstanding company East Coast. The technician was honest, replaced the correct part and tuned up my A/C. I haven't had any real problems in 2 years since I started using East Coast. Now I've signed up for their maintenance plan and I highly recommend this company. Also.....the owner I believe his name was Scott (sorry if I got the name wrong) came to my house personally to assess the situation.
I was. Very pleased with the service from the person in the office to the technician. The office personnel acted very professional and very helpful through the procee. The first technician walk me through the steps that will be taken and he demonstrated good knowledge of the process and that gave me some comfort. I contacted this company through Angie and the response was immediate. They came to replace my AC unit in less than 24 hrs and I also got zero percent interest financing in less than 5 minutes. I’m very happy with the work crew who was very professional and efficient. The sales manager that came to my home was great throughout the process. They truly have a whole team working together round the clock for you. I highly recommend them!
I knew exactly what I needed done and tried to get labor cost estimates from several companies. This is the only company that would give me an estimate over the phone. Scott the owner texted me right after I put in a Home Advisor request and in no time he gave me an estimate for a fair price. We agreed on a date and the tech showed up on time and completed the repair in a couple hours. I will definitely use them again!
What a pleasure to work with a company who deliver what they claim! Making an appointment for a technician who shows up on time, confirmed by front office knowledgeable , pleasant personnel is something of a rarity. The technician was very pleasant , very adept and efficient and had the matter solved and working to perfection in no time at all. Prices are fair and I am impressed by their expertise in every area.
When my HVAC failed, I called East Coast and they were able to send a technician by the next morning. Fixing it was a major project but the team at East Coast helped me navigate it with ease and made a stressful moment in life much more manageable. Tom’s team is competent, reliable, and most important, reasonable. While his competitors such as San****e, Air around the device on “wall time device,” and Sears tried to rip me off with grossly inflated pricing, East Coast was literally half the price on a blower motor replacement. I totally trust these guys and nice to know I have a company I can depend on. Anthony, the technician was a pleasure.
Gaston showed up and delivered his services in perfection. He is detailed oriented and he makes sure the system is in perfect condition after he leaves my property in precious condition . Just started engaging with East Coast Air, but so far very happy with the professionalism. They have schedules that they keep, automated systems to notify you of changes and very professional team of technicians. They did exactly what they said they would, for the price we agreed. No fanfare. No drama. Will have them servicing my AC going forward on a schedule.
Very good job all around. They answered the phone right away and got me scheduled within 24 hours to replace my evap coil that was under warranty. Called them on Friday afternoon for a quote and had everything installed a few days later. Very fair price compared to some outrageous quotes we received along with deceptive sales tactics but more important was how professional the technicians were and the customer service follow up the next day. Would highly recommend this organization!
Called East Coast and within a few minutes Scott the owner called me back. There was a coolant leak in my A/C unit. It was not repairable. I had called several companies and they all agreed. Within one day East Coast had a new unit installed by two qualified technicians. It’s up and running now. All don with a competitive price

Worst Reviews
Several dispatches and the new installation performed by East Coast Air still has issues. The photos included show the shoddy workmanship on first dispatch. Plywood foundation installed by them went from being a single sheet of ply to 5 or 6 poorly paired pieces of ply. Air leaked out of every 1/4" to 1/2" gap. I later caulked it hoping it would help. Second dispatch was because the AC stopped working the same evening of the day of the install. That was due to a missing cap on the condensation outlet that caused an issue with pressure and suction. They came, placed the cap and tested levels. Third was to pick up the pile of concrete left behind from the wrecked out pad originally there. Thinking about it now, the original was probably up to code and was replaced with a pad with a Styrofoam core. Fourth dispatch (I think) I was reporting water pudding up in the power cab of the air handler. They also applied mastic to riser duct to the ceiling. I talked about the fans blowing hard and maybe that's why I had all the humidity. I was told I could get in there and change the fan speed myself if it continued to be a problem. 5th (Reinstall) humidity was so high and all of this cold air was blowing out the backside of the unit I requested a reinstallation, including replacing the ply wood they oringally installed. This final attempt( the installer showed up two hours past the appointment window) is when they failed to tape the backside once again and only applied a thin layer of mastic on the right side. They also never replaced the insulation in the intake like they said they would and never gave me air filters for the unit they said they would. They banged up the unit some, too. They never applied foil tape to any of the seams at the base of the air handler. Other photos show mildew now built up, tape and insulation I had placed to seal leaks, insulation around the pipe going in that was left off that I replaced, the missing grommet at the end of the pipe that was burnt off at the install, missing mastic, thin mastic, wet wood, missing clamp off the electrical flex duct. After experiencing 70% humidity in my house during the weekend, and discovering untaped and gaps within the insulation, I was fed up. I called for a refund on labor. During the last phone conversations they offered me $350 and requested a 7th opportunity to come out to "finally" tape up and apply mastic to the duct located above the air handler which goes to the ceiling. Initially, I agreed, however after hanging up with Scott, the owner, I reflected on our conversation and my experiences, I called back and canceled. After realizing that 5 or 6 dispatches for a new and simple install, after being talked down to, after being cut off midsentence several times(once I was hung up on by Chris), I was done with them. Scott had started getting snippy and loud on the phone and I told him to take it down a notch, which then I was accused of being too "chill" of a guy and that's just his personality. Then later I was told I had a "type A personality" and that my story didn't match up and I didn't know what I want. Funny how I went from "chill" to "type a". After reading some of the negative reviews that aligned with my experience(despite several overwhelmingly positive reviews), I decided I couldn't trust these guys back in my house. Which, of course offended him...probably because there are other reviews claiming theft. He likely assumed that's why I didn't want him back. Every time they came out I was accommodating. Offered water, sandwiches, left them alone most of the install so they could do their job. Offered snacks and juice boxes to the installer's kid when the installer brought his kid for the 2nd attempt of this installation. Yeah, that happened. I'm a nice guy. Howvever I got tired of being taken advantage of, got tired of taking days off from work for these guys, and got tired of Scott's mouth. Maybe he'll learn how to talk and listen to people after this one.
They don’t know what the heck they are doing. AC was broken for 3 weeks because the tech told us that the part that was needed to fix the unit needs to be ordered. They took $1000 and when my dad called the owner to get an update because 3 weeks with no AC in South Florida is literally crazy… the guy had no idea about what ‘part’ that was needed let alone that we had a pending order to be fixed. When they finally come to fix it $3000 later, it still wasn’t working properly. So today my brother calls the company back and the guy starts THREATENING my brother and saying the most wildest things that you should never say to a customer who just paid $3k for basically nothing… so crazy to believe they’re in business. In my field of work, I have several vendors that could easily do the job quicker, cheaper and more efficiently due to the Tenure of business relationships I’ve created ALONG WITH RESPECT. However, we used East Coast Conditioning because they’ve been the company to do our AC work at home for as long as I can remember. Rest assured, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. Disgraceful company. Save your $$$ and call elsewhere.
East cost installed a new AC unit for me in July and I have been having issues since. A week after installation , they had to come back and replace the outside part. Installation was not done properly. Also the did a sloppy job and damaged my walls. They sent another person who did an excellent job. I gave a 5 review as I saw they worked with me and fix the issues. That all I asked for. In Oct, AC broke and we had water all over and a leak to the 2nd floor. At first, they wanted to charge me, but after I told the lady that the AC is new and still within that year. They sent someone and they rep placed the pump. At first , they agreed to fix my ceilings and had appointment scheduled. They then rescheduled, the technician was sick. It is almost / month and no repair was done. Now they don’t even replied to my text. I had 2 estimates 1 over 400 and the other is over $600 to repair and paint the ceiling. I will bring them to court if they do not fix it. I have all the text s from Finn.
Update: We have received several second opinions as to our air-conditioning issues, and both companies referred to a poor installation job as being part of the issue as to why our air conditioning units are not functioning properly. We’ve had ongoing issues with the new units installed by East Coast Air. From poor communication to frustrating warranty and service experiences, it’s been a nightmare from start to finish. They rarely arrive or call when promised, and the cost of repairs on their own installations is nearly as high as replacing the units altogether—leaving us both frustrated and disappointed. They’re quick to make the sale, but be cautious about what happens afterward. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company.
Horrible company . Scott threatened me over the phone to smack me around . I proceeded to tell them they have my address since they came and scammed my father out of his money . By far the most outrageous encounter with a local business I will also be filing a report with the authorities. Next time you threaten someone with physical harm be sure to back it up . On another note , paid this company to fix the a/c unit they installed & not only were they not able to fix the horrible job they did but Scott decided to threaten me over the phone. DONT USE THIS COMPANY
I spent I lot of money with this company in the past, bought 4 brand new AC units from them, 2 units 7 years ago e 2 units less than a year ago. First time everything went well but the second time was great disapointment. Owner Scott promised first 2 years free maintenance and later "forgot". I trusted Scott because of the previous service they had done in the past, instead of demanding him to put 100% in writing. I am completely disappointed and will not use this company again in the future.
East Coast came to my house and said that my compressor was broken. wanted to charge me $2,200 when I had a warranty on it. when there was absolutely nothing wrong! with my hair conditioner it works just fine. thank you for nothing East Coast😩

Nov/23, edit, update. Had our 2nd Semi Annual Maintenance, as good as when we had our 1st semi annual maintenance and it was great, easy, informative and a relief to know we have this great company taking care of our needs. I 1st used Eat Coast to come and repair a badly installed Solar AC system which started to breakdown over time. While East Coast was the 3rd company we contacted, they are the ONLY business that didn't littlerally run away, or make up excuses to not attempt to repair. ALL the staff at East Coast are friendly attentive professional and dedicated to their customer. Any occasions we have had them come and repair inexplicable situations they have with full explanation and discussion listened and then repaired, leaving us with confidence and relief. This company TOPS the bar when it comes to all our A/C needs. Thank You All. Edit 3/26/24. Service cleaning and sanitising ducts and vents, very professionally taken care of. Don't know what I'd do without East Coast AC. Edit 6/1/2024 - as always, reliable and each person totally qualified for their particular purpose at East Coast, latest Semi Annual completed, and a Tripping issue repaired thoroughly, caused as a result of the initial supplier. Edit 11/25/24, 2nd semi annual preventative maintenance just completed, keeping everything running smoothly.
