English Air Inc. started in business in 2005. Our founder, Anton Martin, moved from London to Palm Bay in 1993 where he completed his HVAC training. He worked for Trane as a service tech for a number of years. After seeing the lack of expertise in the industry (as well as hearing some terrible stories about poor customer service), he saw an opportunity to serve Orlando, FL, and the surrounding areas with polite, professional experts who truly enjoy giving their customers 5-star AC service—every time. Anton and his wife Jonna, a former pediatric home health care nurse, live in Central Florida with their son Isaiah and their daughter Faith. Both children are big fans of soccer, just like their father, who currently runs and sponsors the English Air United soccer team. I am sorry I can't give this a 6th star. (This section does not have to do with English Aid) We had an issue with our AC which was 6 years old and was from the original construction of the house. It was installed by Del Air and whether the unit was sub par or the install was sub par is neither here no there. The unit failed and trying to get the Warranty company and the builder to correct the issue as we had a problem for 5 of the 6 years and no one thought to look into why we were having an issues until it was too late was a fault on all the contractors for our warranty company. The long and short is we needed a new AC and fast as I was starting to get heat exhaustion overnight in Florida. We called several people and although there was one that was a few grand cheaper, that place was the only one in that price range and it was kind of sketch. So we got a lot of companies including English Air. (This DOES have to do with English Air) ALTHOUGH, we did have a little bumpy time with the back office as they said they would update our address 5 times and we corrected them a total of 6 times was the worst thing that happened with the company. Which is saying a lot. From Bryan, our tech/sales contact coming in being super thorough and just super accommodating to the official and well itemized estimate we were really impressed. We had several changes on the estimate we needed to update and they did so without complaint and did so immediately. They were kind and very accommodating. When we decided to choose them they did everything they could to get us in as soon as possible and made sure everything was set up and ready for that day. When the big day came we had 4 well trained techs. Robin showed up first, I expressed a few things Bryan had promised during the negotiation and he said without a doubt those accommodations would be taken care of without an issue. Robin was kind, knowledgeable, caring, and 100% dedicated to his job. I had several questions during the install and he ensured each one was answered and even included me in the install showing me the progress of several stages to show how well it was going. CJ was also very informative and made sure at every point to check in with me and let me know where we were in the install. There were two others who did not talk to me much, but they were detailed and very focused on making sure everything was carried out correctly. They were Mauro and Carlos. All in all, the entire team was 12 /10. They took a little longer than expected, but we had several issues with our house build that caused issues and the team navigated it with only minimal issue. Once it was installed the system was super quiet and ran beautifully. We are a week in and I waited to post this to ensure there were no install errors before posting a glowing review. I would recommend this company for any installs, upgrades, or maintenance. They were not the cheapest option but not by a whole lot, but I will say they were the best option. I will continue using them in the future for my AC needs. (Get what you pay for) --------------- I did have to call English Air for an issue, not big one and nothing they did wrong, but Robbie showed up next day first thing in the morning and was able to locate and correct my issue quickly and effectively. Once again NOTHING they did wrong. Just had to get something sorted out.

Let me start with a quick history of my nightmares with what some people would think these HVAC companies are highly recommended by neighbors and on the web. Multiple companies with questionable business tactics and so-called techs that are commission base earners. Here walks in English Air by chance I was speaking to my colleagues about my frustrations on my HVAC system and my disappointments with a reputable multiple companies and what I can say a unicorn walks into my office the owner of English Air Anton Martin, after speaking with the gentleman and reviewing my history in less then 1 hour without inspecting my unit just based off the finds and my information. Anton generated an estimate and guaranteed if I wasn’t pleased or satisfied with the repair or experience, I can reach out directly to him. Anton is Engaged in his company and has trained is team in the same business philosophy. The next day they where ready with parts an appointment. I work just like the rest of us for a living, so my wife must deal with most vendors for home repairs. So as always, my highest priority is the type of person which shows up to the house and how they act around my family. I found the Unicorn from the time the tech shows up to ask permission to park on the driveway” how often does that happen with vendor at your home” to the time the tech took explaining what he was about to complete and each step in the process. English Air has Exceeded my families Expectations. Respectful, Clean, on point exactly with the estimate price. He rechecked the work and did not leave till everting was working perfectly. If you ever have the opportunity to hire English Air as your HVAC company, you will feel compelled to write a similar review!! I'm a real estate advisor, and recently had a listing with major ac issues. 1 company had been out for an estimate then failed to show up to do the work, and had a whopping estimate (while saying the job would take about 3-4 hours total)! Owners were overseas and it was left to me to handle. Upon a referral, I contacted Anton, President of English Air Inc. He was amazing....came out that same night, after hours to evaluate the situation, knowing there was a sickly cat and tenant in the home, he then went and got the estimate done for me that SAME night! (emailing it at 11pm!!!) Not only was his estimate a few thousand less, they were able to schedule the job, eliminating the unnecessary work the other company had estimated in! I want to give a HUGE shoutout to all of the wonderful office staff that worked with my crazy schedule to get their guys out there, juggling things to accommodate my schedule, the guys that came out, Ari, Anton, another crew member, that I sadly didn't get the name of, but mostly JUDAH!! Judah arrived at 8:30am....and worked straight through till 8:30pm! Then was the first to arrive next morning to finish the job up! He was amazing, as were they all! Thank you JUDAH! The job was completed and a/c working and the cat and tenant are finally in a cool environment! Not only are they more than fair with their pricing....they took the time to do the job correctly and when all was said and done, the actual total bill came in almost $300 LESS than the estimate!!! What a HONEST and FAIR company!!!! I'll be recommending them as my preferred Air Conditioning Repair Company!! THANK YOU ENGLISH AIR, INC!!

Highly recommend!! We had our entire HVAC system replaced/upgraded, brand new duct work installed including moving our return to the attic, and installed a mini-split in our converted garage/primary suite. Every single person we worked with at English Air along the way have been absolutely amazing!! From the moment we met Joey we knew we could trust him. The pricing was fair and they were the only HVAC company wiling to take on the install work in September while it is still terribly hot! There were obstacles along the way due to the construction of our home and they never gave up or stopped smiling! This is the kindest, happiest crew we have ever worked with which is just so amazing considering the hard work they do and matters a lot when you consider how much time they spend in your home. Our 4 year old daughter still thinks CJ is her best friend and asks when she will get to see her again!! Huge thank you to Antoine, Joey, CJ, Mauro, Robin, and the entire crew!! You all are exceptional and we are so happy we made the right choice to give our business to such great people. The system they installed is top notch and our house is icy cold!!!

Why does the AC always seem to quit on a Friday afternoon? After a few too many stressful experiences, I finally decided to sign up for a membership that guarantees priority service when I need it most. I chose English Air because they’re local to Orlando and have consistently strong reviews. The membership runs me $20/month and includes several worthwhile perks: priority scheduling, bi-annual tune-ups, and a 10% discount on repairs. Recently, it was time for my routine tune-up, and English Air sent out Robby. He arrived on time, was personable, and clearly knew his stuff. He spent a little over an hour going through the system and found no major issues—just a dirty filter, which he replaced. Robby also offered a few recommendations for future consideration, but there was absolutely no hard sell, which I appreciated. His professionalism and positive attitude are what inspired me to write this review. It’s refreshing to see someone who truly seems to enjoy their work instead of just going through the motions. Well done. Let’s hope my AC unit behaves… especially on Fridays.

Had my duct sealing done today by CJ and Andre. Wow, what a great team! Very professional but also personable - explained what they were doing without talking down to me. CJ spotted a few problem areas that weren't even on the original scope and just handled them. No upselling, no drama, just "hey, we'll take care of this while we're here." That's the kind of service you don't see much anymore. Both technicians clearly know what they're doing. They worked efficiently together, were careful with my home (drop cloths, cleaned up completely), and you could tell they actually cared about doing the job properly. The attention to detail was impressive - they made sure every seal was tight, even in the hard-to-reach spots. Already noticing better airflow in rooms that were always problematic. My house feels more balanced temperature-wise too. If you get CJ and Andre for your service call, you're in good hands. They represent your company really well - this is the kind of service that creates loyal customers. Thanks for sending such a solid team!

English Air Inc. employee Robbie is an excellent HVAC Technician. Robbie responded to a service call for a repair of an HVAC system to one of the residents at the Waverly On Lake Eola condominums.This resident was unfamiliar with HVAC systems/repairs, etc. and did not have access to a cell phone or computer in order to do a Google search of HVAC systems, etc. This resident decided to call her daughter and grandson (HVAC Inspector) who live in another state, so that Robbie could go over what was needed to either repair or replace the HVAC system for this resident. Robbie answered all related HVAC technical questions posed by resident grandson. Based on this conversation and recommendations of both Robbie and grandson , the resident decided to proceed with a new HVAC system. Today, in this world it's hard to find people like Robbie that are patient, understnding and a dedicated employee of English Air Inc. Robbie should be awarded a raise or bonus because he represents your company very well.Thank you!

I would like to express my appreciation of the good service that I received from this company. English Air, if anyone is looking for a reliable, honest and operate with integrity A/C company. They installed my new AC last year, very pleased with the service. Then last week an electric company was working down the street and we have no power for a few hours. Which might contributed some issues that I was having with the unit was not cooling down. My husband called English Air and they send a technician right away. Isaiah and Carlos was very knowledgeable and explained the issues. Isaiah also recommend to change the air filter and offered to do it if I have one in the house. In which I do but unfortunately the wrong size. "Isaiah said not a problem, I will cut it down and make it work". I really appreciate his dedication to customer satisfaction willing to help above and beyond! I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I highly recommend this business!!!

I was shopping around for a new HVAC system and came across the Daikin fit system. I looked around for a reliable installer (the most important part about getting an HVAC) and stumbled upon English Air. I made an appointment and the owner of the company Anton stopped by to explain the system to me. I decided to go with them, after paying my deposit the crew (Fareed and Shawn) showed up on time a couple days later and got to work installing the new system. It took them around 6 hours to get the job done. They did an excellent job with the installation and explained everything along the way. They left the place very clean. There was nothing sloppy about their installation. I am very happy with my new HVAC system and I am glad I went with English Air. If I need a new system in the future (hopefully not for a LONG time). I will be giving them a call. Be sure to get your Daikin warranty registration done soon (the office took are of it for me)

English Air comes through!! My AC system stopped working due to another ac company damaging it. I went to two other companies for the repair. Neither of the two companies were able to PROPERLY diagnose the entire issues. Not feeling comfortable with them, I sent them on their way. Then I got to English Air! It was an entire team effort. From talking to Joe F. helping me to get started. Vanessa in the office, keeping the lines of communication open. Robbie ,fully diagnosing all the issues. Coming back the same day with all the replacement parts, Robbie and Carlos did an awesome job installing the new parts. Making sure the system worked as expected and cleaned up the area to make it look like they were never there. All I can say is Stellar!! I'm so happy to have found them. They have become my offical HVAC team for my home. Call them. You won't regret it. Thank you English Air!

My SEARS AC from 1995 gave up after 28 years in service. Shopped around Central Orlando and English Air was able to beat all others in terms of value and google ratings, earning my business. They beat the competition in terms of value by a landslide installing a more efficient unit for a more affordable price. Got home in time. Were corteous, friendly and professiona. Got the old AC removed and the new one installed within hours. Happy to recommend English Air. Got a 2.5 ton central air, to cover the bedroom area of my home (roughly 1,100 sq/ft). Daikin, Inverter 17-18 SEER. There was a promo running for this brand and they helped me take advantage of it for a better price. Work well done. Had to install the air handler in the attic. Smooth process. Responsive when I had questions. Thanks to Fareed, Isaiah and Dalton for their hard work. Recommended A+

We had an excellent experience with English Air getting important duct repairs done - we gathered 5 quotes before choosing them and so happy we did for the service and the price. if you are needing repairs, ask for Michael Stephens and Robin Farah. Michael was here for the initial quote and gave us all kinds of advice on air flow, it was awesome that he provided the quote and also was on the repair team. Clear communication, solid and extensive knowledge base, great work ethic and efficient communication - they even brought me lunch when they took a break to cool off. Very respectful of my home and pets as well. We are thrilled with the work they did and they cleaned up all around their work areas better than we would have. We have them on speed dial now - very happy and excited to see if our electric bill agrees next month!

I can’t recommend English Air enough. I scheduled their earliest appointment for the next day and within hours they offered to have someone at my door the same day. Robin was my AC Tech and he was fantastic. He was personable, knowledgeable, and very thorough diagnosing and servicing our system. I did a little AC maintenance in my college years so I knew enough lingo to understand that he truly understands his job and didn’t pitch me on unnecessary improvements. They have a very affordable annual maintenance contract and by the time he was done diagnosing the issue I went ahead and did the annual service because it was barely more than 1 service call and now I get another call in 6 months that’s paid for and 20% off parts if I need any repairs. Great company and I hope I get Robin again in 6 months.

We were in need of replacing our HVAC system. After looking at several companies our neighbors mentioned they had recently had theirs replaced and were very pleased with the service and the price! With their referral we made an appointment with English Air and after meeting with them, made our decision to proceed with them! A decision we are very happy we made! First of all the technicians (CJ, Maura and Robin) were top notch! Very professional, good communicators and just all around pleasant! I think our little yorkie, Finnegan, wanted to go home with Maura! They worked hard and efficiently! We’re absolutely enjoying our new and much improved A/C! My husband and I are both small business owners, and we couldn't be more impressed with the service we received from English Air Company. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The scheduling staff was friendly and informative, setting the tone for the excellent service to come. I met with Michael for our initial estimate. He was punctual, friendly, and provided thorough information. Scheduling was fast and easy, and the team's punctuality was a huge win. Michael, Carlos, and CJ were phenomenal. English Air recently replaced our entire HVAC with a 4-ton Daikin system. We were so impressed and pleased with every aspect of their service! Robbie, the tech who came to evaluate the old system, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. Bryan, the sales rep, was so responsive and fantastic about explaining our options and getting us the best price possible, even scoring us a couple of rebates so we could upgrade the new system without increasing the price. And I’d like to give major shout-outs to the installation technicians - CJ, Robin, and Mauro — who worked tirelessly to get the new system in place, despite encountering some difficulties replacing the air handler in a tight crawl space. We highly recommend English Air. After being sold a home with an undersized unit and fighting with the builder for over a year, we were at the end of our rope and needed something to be done. We shopped around with 5 different companies and English Air was the only one that took the time to make sure they fully understood the problem and to find a solution that was both cost efficient and would help solve our cooling needs. Everyone we interacted with from out sales person (Joe) to our technicians from learning what was wrong to install (Robert, Isaiah, Mauro, Robin, and Carlos) were professional, prompt, and knowledgable. Rob is five stars all the way, from explaining what he was doing and our system's health as he completed one of our biannual services, to removing his shoes inside, to being great to talk with. He even inspected and cleaned our Little Giant condensate pump that I installed several years ago when our gravity drain stopped draining and refused to be opened up. Our English Air relationship started when we had them relocate our outside unit, which has been perfect for years afterward. We added a service agreement for twice-a-year check-ups and after hours service at their regular price. They are very professional scheduliing service, even texting when the tech is en route. I highly recommend Anton and his team at English Air!

Great company. I've hired them multiple times for duct repair, ac repair, ac maintenance, and eventually ac replacement. I've been thoroughly impressed by the high quality of the work. The new AC install in particular was done meticulously. I am not an expert, but I can see extensive attention to detail such as including surge protectors on electric components, properly angling the overflow sensor, cleaning the ducts before installation, replacement and repair of existing components in the AC closet, etc. The techs are always knowledgeable and respectful of property (even bringing slippers to wear on carpeted areas). Pricing has been very fair and competitive and in all cases the service has been without any problems.

Unlike many AC contractors I contacted, English Air was responsive, communicated well, and provided a fixed-price quote for my job. Too many companies are more interested in quoting an entirely new system than actually doing a repair, but English Air never wasted my time trying to convince me to ditch a perfectly repairable system. Carlos and Gavin arrived as scheduled and worked until 10p to finish my repair. No doubt that was not the plan but these guys stuck it out, working in a hot attic with no complaints. Carlos is the personable senior expert every technician should aspire to be, and they were both polite, friendly, professional and got my system up and running that day.

** Update** 6/27/25 Just had Robbie come out to address a drainage issue we were having and he found 2 clogs inside the unit right away and addressed them. Highly recommend this company and their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Called English Air about 6 months ago to have our 7 year old system professionally cleaned and serviced. At that time we also purchased a maintenance contract. They sent Judah out to clean our unit and he did an absolutely wonderful job. Today he and Rafael were sent back out to perform the maintenance check. Both of these gentlemen were knowledgeable, quick and polite. I highly recommend calling English Air for any air conditioning needs.

We recently had our HVAC system replaced by English Air, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the technicians (Robin, CJ and Mauro) were professional and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we understood the process every step of the way. The installation was smooth and efficient, and the team left everything clean and tidy when they were done. Ameer, the service technician, came out to our house for our very first visit to service the three units of our home. To say I was pleased is an understatement. My wife and I have had numerous other companies come out for service /repairs and although some did a decent job none were as comprehensive and informative as Ameer. Talking to him I could tell he truly cared about the job, my home, and my family. We signed up for the maintenance club for the piece of mind it gives us. English Air has been fantastic!! From first visit to install the staff has been ultra friendly and accommodating! Roman came for my in home consultation and took me through all the info and options I had. Anton sent me an estimate that clearly stated what was included with each estimate. I can’t believe they got everything done in one day. They had to demo an existing closet with the old handler inside, remove it, remove the old outside unit and install all new. Roman, Isaiah, and Tom were fantastic. Super friendly and hardworking individuals. Thank you, English Air, for the new AC, and having such great staff!

I am SOO glad I found English Air!! I previously used another carrier to install and service a Daikin HVAC system. Unfortunately, the prior firm did not install the unit properly and also did not adhere to manufacturer recommendations when it came to servicing. The team at English Air has been helpful and straightforward on what needed to be done. Very professional and great communicators. Fareed and CJ were the techs who handled the issue, showing me what and why they were taking the steps they did. I highly recommend English Air!!

Over the last twenty years of living in Orlando I have encountered serveral Havac companies that gave quotes so astronomical you could buy a brand new unit when all you wanted was yearly maintenance. English Air is the best service I have experienced in Orlando. Robbie, the technician was super knowledgeable and professional. He not only did a five star inspection and maintenance but identified the problem of low refrigerant and just like that problem solved. I am asking for Robbie when I need service. My AC was leaking and not cooling. Robbie from English air came out and did a most thorough assessment. He stated what he did was the equivalent to a service call. I signed up right away! For $239 (at time of my review) they will do two service calls in a 12 month period. I had previously had my ac serviced by another company. They did not even come close in assessing the condition of my AC. Robbie patiently checked all aspects of the inside and outside units. Very grateful. He got it cooling. It is worth the cost.

Anton and his team have been great. They installed a new handler and condenser for me and everything has been great so far. Eli and Isaiah made sure the install was completed to my satisfaction, and without any issues. Anton is easily reachable if I have any questions about my new system. Also important to note is I compared quotes from 5 different companies and while his quote was not the cheapest, it offered the best unit (both in brand, SEER rating, and variable speeds VS single/two stage from other companies).

**UPDATE** After receiving a separate email from Anton threatening me to remove my review (screenshot attached), I again asked him to address the issue with his own employees — who performed the work under his business license. Florida law is clear that the license holder is responsible for work done under that license. The photos I provided show that the cuts into the load-bearing beam match the width of the air handler that was installed. When the unit didn’t fit, the crew cut into the drywall, discovered the beam, and altered it in a way that violates code. This is documented in the licensed General Contractor’s report I attached. Whether the work was done four years ago or not, Anton remains responsible for the work his company performed. I am reporting his threatening communication to Google and to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. I also note that Anton has declined to provide liability insurance information, which raises serious concerns about customer protection. I strongly recommend avoiding this company due to lack of accountability and professionalism. _______________________________________________________________ In 2021, we contracted English Air for the installation of a Daikin AC system. During the installation, their crew cut into a structural load-bearing beam, compromising the structural integrity of our home. The attempt to "patch" the beam by sistering a 2x8 was inadequate and failed to address the structural risk and violates Florida building codes. Upon recent inspection, latent deficiencies have become apparent, including significant concerns with the load-bearing structure. A licensed general contractor has documented that the improper modification has resulted in structural issues that now require professional repair. We provided English Air with documentation detailing the damages and estimated repair costs. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner dismissed our claim and requested unreasonable proof, including "before" photos of a hidden beam and requiring a statement from HIS employee admitting to cutting the beam. As a result of their negligence, we are now pursuing damages in accordance with Florida statutes to address the structural issues and repair costs. We do NOT recommend English Air, as they will skirt all responsibility and are not accountable for damages caused during installation. Homeowners should exercise extreme caution when considering this company for any work. BEWARE!

I will not recommend this company to anybody they are only interested on the sell and they are full of explannation and justifications. I called this company for an estimated they came to my place and evaluated my current AC unit. I explained there that I have different temperature behavior on the rooms since the house is old, and that I want to keep using a smart thermostat that have sensors and WiFi. I had an Ecobee installed and I asked the guy if this will work with the new AC. He checked the cables and he told me that he has enough cables to work on that. I was thinking that since I was getting a very new unit it wont be a problem or I will get very new thermostat. He sent me 3 option for Daikin units and I selected the more expensive thinking that I will have the best thermostat and the best SEER. After the installation I realized that the thermostat is just old and regular thermostat that does not allow wifi or sensors at that point I was a starting to be disappointed but still I was thinking that there is solution with my current thermostat. I asked to use what I had before Ecobee and to complete my surprise the installer crew told me that the boss was checking on how to install the Ecobee but at the end the guy (Anton) came telling me that my old thermostat is not compatible and that the one that is with the unit is the only one that this unit support Then he was starting telling me that what I wat will be more money add on top of all the money that I already spent with then. I was tricked by this company and my ignorance thinking that I was getting the best becuase I was paying the most. If from the beginning this guy tell me that my thermostat is not compatible with the unit and the unit only support an old ones without any features that I want and that the unit come with a basic thermostat I will not install this unit. When I was discussing with this company about the guys was full of explanation but not real solution. Just that what I want will be more money. Furthermore the guy promise to give me a papers for the labor 2 year warranty, and what I got was just nothing official from the company just a printed estimated that he told me that will be enough if I have issues.

This is the first negative review I have ever taken the time to write. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with English Air. I trusted Anton, the owner of English Air to install a brand new AC unit at my business. We have had multiple problems with this unit and have called English Air to handle these problems on this band new unit installed in 1/2021. The unit leaked into my ceiling flooding the ceiling of my office. It also leaked gallons of water down my walls and most recently under my newly installed floor. I have called English Air and in response sent out a very nice service man. I do not have any problems with him. He checked the unit and told me it appeared to be cooling properly and was not sure why the kitchen was not cooling. He checked the thermostat and said it was fine but agreed that the kitchen was hot. He said he would have the owner, Anton come to the office and see what was happening since he was not sure himself. This was the third service call and I was billed for these calls. Anton never came to the office to check the problem. Instead one month later, he texted me. I asked him when he would come to the office and check the unit and he said he was out of town and did not know that we were expecting him to come to see why the unit was not working properly. This week the unit leaked 15+gallons of water into the ceiling, in the walls, and under the floor. My husband called English Air on Monday night as he was vacuuming water out of the ceiling. Anton has not called us back. We now have had to hire a Water Remediation company to dry, dehumidify, remove the walls, and remove the floors. So far the bill is over $7,000. It is my hope that English Air will take responsibility for this improper install.

English Air installed our system, and their crew cut into a structural load-bearing beam just to make the air handler fit. Instead of repairing it properly, they covered it up — something a licensed General Contractor confirmed is a serious code violation that has left our home compromised. The evidence of the cuts, which match the width of the handler, are attached and Anton was provided the detailed report from the licensed GC. When we asked Anton, the owner, to take responsibility, he refused. The paperwork clearly lists his employees, and under Florida law, he’s accountable for their work. Instead of addressing the issue, he sent my wife a threatening email demanding she take down her honest Google review. He’s now pressuring us to speak with his employees — the same people he has threatened to sue — which is highly inappropriate. He also demands “before” photos of the beam, knowing full well that beams are hidden behind drywall and such photos wouldn’t exist. He will likely respond to this review with the same deflection tactics. At the end of the day, Anton knows he is responsible but continues to deflect and push the burden onto us. We’ve reported his behavior to Google and the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. He has also refused to provide proof of liability insurance, which raises serious concerns for any homeowner considering English Air. No homeowner should have to wonder if a contractor is properly insured. If you value your home and peace of mind, avoid this company. No one should be left with structural damage, threats, and deflection instead of accountability.

Anton is a good salesman, but that's about it. We selected him after getting multiple quotes and went with his recommendation of a Daiken Heat pump. Stay away. These people aren't competent installers. After they completed install (Friday) we left for the weekend and came back to a flooded condo because they failed to correctly connect the drain lines. Carpet had to be pulled, drywall cut out 1' up wall and house tented as remediation began. They didn't pull proper permits after telling us they would. A month after unit had been installed and reminding them they finally sent permit paperwork. The unit has already failed 2 months in. They've had to come replace parts. Find somebody more competent than English Air.

Setup an appointment online and got a confirmation. Waited and the appointment time came and went. Called a couple of times and got through finally to someone who as they said "wasn't sure why the person didn't come. They will probably come after they are done with their current job". Forget it! I'll look elsewhere. Why bother setting up an appointment if you don't know if you will show up or even call to say you will be late?

operator super nice, but sales person that called us treated us badly. Long story short, didn't want to waste any time, and if we were on a budget, it wasn't the right company to call. HOW DO YOU KNOW OUR BUDGET beforehand? #FAIL

They charged me $190 just to come to my house and find out the problem with my A/C, which I already knew. Then, they wanted to charge me $361 to fix the problem. I definitely do not recommend this company.

UNBLIEVEABLY BAD. In fact, the correct term is "useless". I'm an engineer, and when my HVCA failed, I knew exactly what had gone wrong. So, I called English Air because they were a distirbutor for the make and model of my other HVAC systems. But they don't stock parts, so I would have to wait until the got the part - a motor for the inside blower. I gave the the part numbers which I could read off the unit. They said they would let me know when they got the part and could do the installation. The next day, I got a call from a technician who said he was on his way. Great! (I thought.) But he didnt come with a part. Instead, he came with instructions to inspect the outside compressor. He came with no parts, and looked completely lost. So he did nothing... except present me a $118 bill for his trip! So I called English Air several times to ask when they would they get the needed part but no one answered and I never got a reply. Finally, I got through to someone who told me that they *texted* me (to my land line home phone?) an estimate for the repair. Well, land lines don't accept text messages but they do have answering machines, and English Air never called. But now, they would send me an email. That, I got. Their estimate did NOT include any credit for the do-nothing trip, but did charge $1002 for a new motor plus $600 labor to install it plus taxes. Oh...and it would take 3-5 days JUST to get the part. I called mutliple times but had to leave messages, asking if, among other things, they would refund the $118 for a trip in which the technician was not prepared to do the requested service. I never got any answer by email, home phone, cell phone, or text. Suffice to say, English Air is off my list. And, just so you know - given all the problems with HVAC contractors in general, who I find frequently rip off customers - I decided to do the repair myself. A suitable motor was available from many sources for about $200, but I played it safe and got an exact OEM replacement brand new for $450, also avaiable from many sources. I chose one that included next-day delivery for $6.99. There were about 10 screws to unfasten altogther, and the blower assembly slipped out for easy access. It took about 30 minutes to take the old motor from its mount, put the new one in, and plug four wires into the exact place the old motor wires went. I wasted nearly two weeks waiting for English Air to give me their ridiculous estimate after showing up unprepared to do anything. Sorry if I'm a bit grumpy, but the temperature in the house is just coming down from the upper 80's.....

Very very disappointed in the customer service of this company.. I had an appointment between four and five got a text at 3:36 PM saying that the service tech Anton Martin was on His way Anton Martin never showed up to my address I sent Text back to the saying that the service tech has not showed up I sent several taxis saying still waiting on the service tech at 5:15 I got a phone call from Anton Martin saying my service call had been rescheduled because he said he had called my phone and I did not answer for one thing he did not call my phone and second of all I had a text at 3:36 saying they Anton Martin was on his way never got a phone call from English Aire Saying my appointment has been rescheduled as I was talking to Anton Martin he was very belittling to me told me I did not deserve a service call today because I did not answer my phone Anton Martin needs a class in customer service I am in the customer service industry and I would never have talked to a customer that way I would i've been apologetic and asking how we can fix this issue and reschedule an appointment but Anton never offered any of that we will not be doing business with English air we were going to buy a brand new carrier system for our house but we will not be doing that with English air any longer

I am a condo owner and had the pipes flushed and cleaned out approximately one year ago. The service charge was right at $100. I called that air conditioner business again to clean and flush the pipes but they no longer serviced the high-rise I live in. I called ENGLISH AIR to service my AC without asking what the cost would be to me.. MY MISTAKE. I assumed it would not be much more than the $100 I was charged the year before give or take $50 or less. ENGLISH AIR charged me $388. for the same service I had received the year before from the other AC repair business. I stood and watched the entire time they were at my condo. I called ENGLISH AIR and explained the situation as I have written here and they told me that the charges were warranted and there would be no refund. Beware.

English Air did the job, which was to clean our dryer duct. Eli, the technician was very nice. The process went well and he was efficient. We talked for a bit and felt we were in good hands. However, when I went to use my washer a few days later, I had a spewing leak everywhere and my garage flooded. I guess when the washer was moved, the drainage pipe somehow unhooked. When we called to explain the problem, they blamed my husband and said he was the one to blame for moving back the washer and dryer back in place. This is a lie! My husband only helped the technician, Eli, move everything back! Why didn't Eli check to make sure all the connections were hooked up and intact before he left? Why did the owner of the company blame my husband? Horrible customer service. Do not recommend one bit. For a $127 dryer duct cleaning, instead of trying to help, they decided to blame us and make us fix the problem they created. Very disappointed.
