As a property manager, I recently switched from another A/C provider in town to give Ewing and Ewing a try. I read the reviews and had an extensive conversation with JR in the office to discuss the four units I scheduled to have serviced. Well- I can see why Chris was cited so many times in the reviews! I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the service I received from the service technicians- Chris and Nick. They called ahead, showed up on time, were professional and courteous. They both had clean appearances and their service vehicle was clean and well kept. (To some people this matters- first impressions count!) They took their time properly servicing each unit and informing me of each issue. Chris in particular was very knowledgeable and confident in his advice. I felt that they were very thorough. They invoice at a flat rate- not hourly, which helps when budgeting for these types of things. They helped diagnose two issues I was having and I will definitely be using them again to fix the units. In a day and age where customer service is disintegrating, this company hasn't lost sight of what is truly important.
Absolutely the most pleasant and efficient experience I’ve had with any “trade” I have ever hired. My Mini-Split AC has shut down for inexplicable reasons numerous times. The company that installed it was of no help, and finding experts with experience on this unit was not easy. After a pleasant conversation with Mr. Ewing, he understood my frustration and sent Jonathan out in a matter of hours. My wife was home, and explained all of the weird problems to him, and he went to work going through the entire machine, explaining to her what he was checking. Oddly, the machine came back to life before he came, however he thoroughly checked everything and assured us if it failed again, he’d come back out and address the issue. Too many words to say how impressed I am with this business and their technicians. Absolutely A+
Oh yes I sure would recommend Ewing & Ewing....100%!! When my dearest best friend was in need of an a/c company I directed her to E&E based solely on thorough research and it paid off BIG TIME!! Anthony was SUPER impressive and BEYOND outstanding from start to finish with the way he handled her a/c replacement so much so that we were all just blown away really because this level of professionalism is rare and not always so easy to find and now as a result of all of this I myself am going to be contacting Anthony to come to my home and do a full assessment/evaluation on my current a/c system for the future because even though it is still running good (thankfully) it is getting up there in years but when its time has come Ewing & Ewing are DEFINITELY gonna be my guys:)
I have been using Ewing & Ewing for my both my office and home A/C maintenance and repairs for over 5 years and have always been very satisfied. They are always very honest, friendly and their prices are definitely fair. Al and Robert have serviced my office and home A/C systems over the years and always do a great job. Most recently, Luke was out to my house to check on one of my A/C units and he was very informative, explained everything in detail and did a great job getting my A/C up and running again. I am currently considering replacing one of my A/C units and I would not consider using anyone other than Ewing & Ewing because I know I am going to get a very fair price and a job done right. This second time we’ve used Ewing & Ewing, back in 2007 and again in 2024. Professional, extremely knowledgeable, competitive, and trustworthy all apply. They withstand the test of time. Chris came out recently and very efficiently diagnosed are issue and presented our options in straight forward way with no pressure. His knowledge of HVAC companies and latest industry news along with state regulations was beyond what you will find with other companies. Buying a new HVAC system can be stressful and confusing, with the myriad of companies and options available. We did our due diligence both times and Ewing & Ewing came out on top with flying colors, don’t bother with anyone else.
Consistently good experiences with Ewing and Ewing since purchasing a Rheem A/C unit from them 19 months ago. This latest experience was especially noteworthy. When unit suddenly stopped running, I called and spoke with LeAnne. I found her to be pleasant, knowledgeable, and most helpful. And then I was richly blessed to have Tarik come out on the service call. He quickly diagnosed the problem which was electrical and had the unit up and humming in no time. He is extremely knowledgeable, has a great attitude, and is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. Don’t get me wrong, I have had no issues with anyone at Ewing and Ewing. It’s just that Tarik is exceptional!
Ewing & Ewing is a pleasure to do business with, especially in a “crisis “ mode!! When your A/C suddenly quits here in Florida, you know you need professionals to quickly and efficiently step in to help.... Ewing & Ewing have come to my rescue twice in my “crisis” modes!!! Residing on the beach, my outdoor unit gets hammered by harsh salt and humidity. I can count on Ewing & Ewing to service it, without my remembering to call them!! Polite and friendly staff always greet you, both on the phone and when they arrive at your door. Always helpful and reassuring, during a stressful time for homeowners!! My ac was diagnosed by Aztil a/c as being a bad compressor and was not fixable. They said it would be over $6000 for a new unit. I called around for other bids and Ewing and Ewing came over right on time. The tech asked if I minded if he takes a look at the unit and of course I agreed. In a matter of a few minutes the unit was blowing cold air. Turns out the ac was in perfect shape and only needed a small part which was put in AT NO COST TO ME. This amazing company is highly recommend by me as professional knowledgeable honest reliable and charitable. Thank you Ewing and Ewing. I will use you and recommend you to everyone that asks about ac service.
I contacted Ewing & Ewing about 10 years ago due to amazing reviews I found online. I did this as my then HVAC company said they could not fix my unit in 100+* weather on a Friday and that I would need a new unit. I then called Ewing & Ewing. They came out promptly, actually loaned me a part and got my unit running through the heat wave weekend! They quoted me for a replacement unit that was far less $ than the company I had been using for several years. They installed my unit on the following Monday. The rest is history! They now have serviced my home and several rental properties as well as family and friends! Highly recommend!
EWING & Ewing is impressive. They installed a new AC system for us approximately 6 months ago. They didn't have the lowest price but we used them because my girlfriend used them in her previous home and had good experiences. So far our experience this time had been outstanding. When we call them they know who we are and exactly what they have done for us. They call back when promised and genuinely sound like they care about our satisfaction. The owner JR is easy to reach and personally delivers the same level of customer service he expects from his staff. In today's business environment they are a breath of fresh (and cool) air.

Ewing & Ewing worked on our AC unit few weeks ago. They identified the root cause and addressed it accordingly. In my case it was a burned control board in the air handler. Before calling Ewing & Ewing we reached out to two other local AC companies. First company couldn’t resolve the issue and recommend to replace the entire system (over $4000), second company replaced some parts but it didn’t make any difference. Ewing & Ewing replace broken part and saved us thousands of dollars. They are our to go AC company from now on. They were recommended to use by family relatives.
One of the best experiences we have had with a professional provider in South Florida. Our air conditioning was at its end and luckily we had the incredible fortune of dealing with Shawn from Ewing & Ewing. He is honest, trustworthy and reliable. He came out after we ordered our unit to ensure quality and perfection during the installation. He and Bryant came to our home and installed a brand new unit within less than a week. Ewing was recommended to me by a coworker. I must say I am pleased he told me about them. They did everything promised in a timely manner and they cleaned up after themselves. Chris was my service tech and Anthony was my sales rep. My old 14 year old a/h unit was about dead and they gave me a fair price on a new unit. I would suggest you get a service contract. They do not try to sell you new equipment unless it is needed, unlike some places. I am the third person at work who uses them and they have old time customer service. Highly recommended
I called on a Tuesday to get an estimate for HVAC system replaced and Sean provided detailed estimate and by Friday they came and installed whole new system. The staff installed with ease and were very respectful of property . I called a little over week later with a problem with loudness of our indoor Air Handler and they sent Jeff out to us the next day and he found the problem and fixed it with no issues. Your staff is truly there for your customers. I thank you and hope you continue to keep up your quality of service.
I had a fantastic experience getting my new A/C installed. From the initial consultation, I knew this company was knowledgeable and not trying to scare or upsell me. They weren't the cheapest, but I felt confident they would get it done right. A week later, the man who did my wind mit (who is also HVAC certified) gave the installation high praise and asked me who did it. Ewing & Ewing also had a custom permanent filter made for my air intake, since my previous A/C did not have a standard opening. I couldn't be more pleased.
Last summer my central air suddenly stopped working and I called Ewing and Ewing. A very polite and respectful technician soon arrived and only took about a half hour to diagnose the problem - a fuse and non-working part. He quoted me a very reasonable price and fixed the problem in less than hour (which included climbing up on the condo roof). He also gave me a few A/C care tips. The entire process was simple, fast and pleasant. My A/C has worked flawlessly since. I will definitely call again if I have future problems.
After using one of big billboard companies, I started getting the hard sell. That led me to give Ewing and Ewing a call, as family have used them for both maintenance and one new AC system. Luke called in advance and was very professional and thorough. From the use of shoe covers due to the rain, to answering my questions without judgment, and not rushing like the other guys would often do, it was a great first experience. I felt like more than just a customer number to push unneeded products and services on.
We have used Ewing and Ewing for years and they have never disappointed us. They always find a way to fix the AC so that we are comfortable until a permanent fix can be done. Ewing & Ewing did a fantastic job installing my new a/c units, indoors and outdoors. They sold me and installed the a/c type I wanted along with keeping my nest thermostat and existing indoor drain pipe. Chris was very informative in discussing the sales aspect of the new units including my questions and requirements. Joseph, Diego, and Brian were efficient, organized and professional. It took only 2.5 hours for the removal and installation. I highly recommend Ewing & Ewing. 😊

I have had the same man maintain my unit until his many years with you and you looking made him an upper level employee. The new man I have coming to maintain my unit is absolutely every bit as wonderful as the man who is now in upper management. I've lived in SFlo for many years and originally used several other HVAC companies. Ewing & Ewing is absolutely the best of the best. The owner and all employees are extremely responsive, prompt, respectful and efficient. Chris, one of the supervisors, even gave me his personal phone number after a repair in case I had further problems after hours. I trust Ewing & Ewing with all of my HVAC needs and would recommend them without hesitation.

My parents have used Ewing & Ewing for over 20 years. So of course when I started having issues with my AC I called Ewing and they have been out 3 times in the past 2 weeks to make sure my AC is working great. Everyone from the office staff that have taken my calls to the 3 different technicians that have come out have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Ewing staff performed a semi-annual service on our system, which they installed two years ago. The technician was prompt And professional in all respects. He discovered a minute leak at a copper fitting, and arranged to have it repaired at no cost. Have used Ewing services on two houses, and have found them to be reliable , technically proficient and remarkably economical in all encounters. We recommend them without reservation.
Great company. Very honest, reliable and fair pricing. They came out to do a service on my A/C unit. Robert who was amazing explained everything to me and showed me where there was a coil leak. They’re coming back out to do the repair for me. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone I know. Hard to find good honest companies these days but speaking from experience Ewing & Ewing is one you can trust. 10/10
We have had trouble already with our one year old A/C, the coil sprung a leak! Two weeks after the warranty was over! Oh no!! But Ewing & Ewing came to the rescue and got us a new coil with out charging us for it!!! Zip.. nada...zero! We were so happy, the technician is one we knew, it’s great to have a company treat us with the loyalty we gave them by using them for 18 years!!! Ewing & Ewing is the best!

I went through a lot of companies trying to figure out issues with the AC. Ewing & Ewing went the extra mile. As requested by someone from the company that I have said some things that weren't true...i have deleted what I said, yet nonetheless I will not change my 1 star which I would rather put no stars. I am put $135 because they selectively decided that only if and only if I replace my over estimated priced ac unit saying it would be 6,500 or close to it compared to $4000 new unit from a other company. They wouldn't not use the initial $135 for the part because they said so and that if I changed the part there's no guarantee that it will be fixed for long. The other company below gave in detail that my ac unit may be old but every part of it is working well and there is no need to replace unless there is a major issue. The part that failed was a motor which the other company felt bad for the stupidity and non professionalism of their company not taling into consideratip.the heat of florida with my kids and mother who has parkinsons in my house on vacation staying in the house long hours during the hot hot summer. The company below deducted $100 off of my part and had the part on their truck helped is to have air within 1 hour. I paid only probably what they paid for the part at cost. They are as you can see below a company with heart and completely honest company not trying to get a dollar. The technition from seeing was not well educated and didn't say much but it's an old unit mam, needs to be replaced and I can't guarantee that you will pay $ for a part on top of the $135 and next month you may be back to square one with having to get a new unit. Unbelieveable. The $135 was to say man, your unit is old, so he looked at a sticker, and climbed to the rooftop and maybe made $20 for coming out and the guy who left me a message about this review wants it taken off. But if you see below the reviews, lots of them are within a month or another of the same year and prior to all of that people again within the same month left quickly 5 stars I know how this works I have a brother who owns a business. Look at the family size on the photo of their business. At least 15 people. So no I don't know for sure that those reviews were from family or not but the date and time and how the reviews or grouped together and so graciously positive and uplifting should maybe ring a bell. So with that being said I hope my $135 paid for a family night out for all of you. Your welcome for the donation. We won't be continuing to donate or give money to your company. Call Gusse Air, they were amazing!! They felt bad that we called a stupid company and took it upon themselves to deduct $100 off our part to fix our ac. They were the most selfless people who had compassion. I will purchase a new unit from them in the future.☆☆☆☆☆ to GUSSE AIR!!! My kids were thanking them.
in my opinion, BEWARE, i do not recommend this company because from my perspective this company failed to maintain my unit over a years time. then i got a leak, and they failed to fix it (i had to pay a second a/c company to fix it) and when their service technician came out, he was very rude to me! Lot of other companies out there!
Omg. Just got off the phone with this lady. Asking her about not having any air in one of my room and also duck cleaning. She could not wait to get off the phone with me. “We don’t have the man power to do the job now, and thanks good bye.” So unpleasant, is this an air conditioning co? 😀😀😀
Tech came out 9-22 to work on a pool heater issue. He had zero experience. Nice person, but did not fix anything and he knew it; just gave up. Management was aware, as he was on the phone. Charged $92 and fixed nothing. Now that's setting the bar low. Avoid these people.
One of your drivers cut me off on 95 and slammed on his brakes. Real cool, man. Will never use this service. Teach your people how to drive.
I will not use this company again and do not recommend it. I'm very dissatisfied with this company. Be aware of their pricing and be sure to ask for a break down of parts & labor, especially if your AC is still under manufacturer's warranty. Found their customer service to be dismissive!
Ewing and Ewing replaced the 2nd floor Air system in our home for $1749.00. About 10 or 11 months after installation we noticed an odd change in temperature and humidity when going upstairs. Assuming that we had a window somewhere that needed to be (sealed) closed or some other compromised area of the attic that may need to be looked at. We procrastinated looking into the potentially new project until we could free up some time. We began to notice mold growth in a few areas, cleaned it up and watched it return quickly making the humidity problem a priority. Upon inspecting the attic, I noticed a separation of the duct work from the air handler. Cool air was escaping, and at the same time, warm air was getting sucked into the ducts. I contacted Ewing and Ewing a month after my labor warranty was over. They repaired the connection at no charge. I was glad that they took responsibility for the workmanship even after the 'Labor Warranty' expiration and gave them 5 stars, making them my go to for repairs. A month later I contacted them because the second floor was no longer cooling. My wife paid them for the repair and I noticed a $232 charge on my card. I contacted them for my invoice since I never received it, and they emailed it to me. I asked about the 10 year parts warranty and they told me that they just used a non-Rheem part that they had in their van that they have to charge me for since only the Rheem parts are warrantied and they didn't have it in their van. As they explained this I looked up the typical cost of the part and it ranges from $8-$19 (see attached photo). They combined Labor and part cost at $140. I asked how much they charged me for the part and he said he didn't know. I asked about the service fee, thinking that the $92 diagnostic fee would be applied toward the repair. The guy said that they don't do that. I asked my wife how long they were at the house and she said less than an 1 hour. $232 for less than an hour, is that typical for a cheap part the should have been free? So what happens with the damaged part? Does it get thrown away? ...Or does the warrantied part get traded in to Rheem for a new one (free of charge) to carry in the van for a (chargeable) replacement on the next job?

I had a referral from a good friend, who was flipping high end homes & always used Ewing & Ewing. In October 2023 I called for a consult & Chris Storey arrived on time looked at my working A/C Unit & we talked as I thought per google I needed to get a 3.5 Ton unit for the size of my place, however Chris helped me discover my parents were swindled in 2004 when they bought there last Rheem A/C Unit & paid for a 3.0 Ton Unit (Paperwork was still on unit) & received a 2.5 Ton unit. Other A/C companies told me I needed a 3.5 Ton Unit & wanted to charge me thousands more. NOT Ewing & Ewing (Chris) He laid it all out for me & told me he would never instal a 3.5 Ton unit as I would have humidity issues & be paying for more than I needed. He said a 3 Ton unit was more than enough & I asked for multiple Proposals on different A/C companies, which he gave me & he let me make up my own mind & when with no pressure. In May 2024 my A/C stopped working & within 48 hours of calling Chris back & telling him that I decided on the Rheem A/C Unit it was installed & even though the price of the proposal only lasted 30 days he was able to honored it. His installers arrived on time & within a few hours I had a new concrete pad & new A/C unit installed. When the installers tried to turn it on there was a problem & they asked to see the electrical panel & needed to determine the issue. They did quickly & they needed a part they did not have with them but before I could ask they had called the office & Chris Storey & the part personally was on his way to make sure all was well & My new A/C worked that day. I know from my friend they have a great warranty & stand behind their work, which was a high priority for me. I have already referred them to 2 friends & will others. Words that describe Ewing & Ewing is professional, courteous, smart, caring, & thoughtful!! They are 5 STARS in my book Craig G
