I have done business with Ron 4 years ago before in one of my houses. He recommended 4 years ago ductwork modifications when no one else did. I listened to him and followed his advice. After it was all done the difference in my ac and airflow was improvement on everything. Here I am now buying my second ac in my new house from Ron. I originally had a package unit outside. He recommendation here was to put a split system and change the ductwork. I trust him and let him made the decision that will benefit my home and my family. After the work was completed I was so Happy that I let him take charge. The work was done completely profession and on time. The air quality in the house is remarkable. Now we can breath fresh air and kill germs in this day and time that we have this VIRUS. thank you Island aire for always doing the right thing for me. And for having Ron as my supervisor for the project.
Just had one of the best experiences with an air conditioning service supplier. Justin Ballard of Island Aire of SW Florida not only showed up during the designated time, performed the requested service on both our AC systems but was extremely informative on the condition and operation of our systems. This is the AC service provider we were looking for and will count on them to provide all our AC work in the future. Called Island Aire again to have them improve my AC plumbing, ducting and float switches installation following a water flooding problem. Douglas and his partner Luis came out today replaced the wet insulation inside my air handler and made a very poor original installation (not installed by Island Aire) much, much improved as shown in the attached photos. Not only is the installation much cleaner but the improved switches should hopefully prevent another water disaster in my attic.
Saw the Island Aire truck on our street in Ave Maria as I was driving by. I stopped to get phone number. Sam came out from the house he was servicing to give me his card. I called to setup an appointment and he meet me the next day to review moving the Air Handler off the garage floor back to the original location up high in the garage (prior owner had it moved to floor for ease of maintenance, but our car would not fit in the garage.) Sam walked me through getting the thermostat registered with Honeywell, even calling Honeywell, since thermostat was still registered to prior owner. Sam prepared a quote to clean, and move the air handler. Sam was very knowledgeable, nice and helpful. They scheduled the install for the next day. Great service. Very happy with the service.
My name is Tony , the google name is what I use at work . But I wanted to say Island Aire company is awesome! They came to our aide and helped us with our issues. We will never use anyone else . They came in one day fixed it and they were honest and fast . My wife has a brain tumor and we were grateful they were able to help us get AC back up . If I could do more then 5 stars I would . Update 7-14-21 Tyler I believe was my technician and did a great job completing the maintenance on our unit . Definitely glad I chose This company to do our A/c work .
When parts in my FLP meter can corroded to the extend it stopped functioning, a FLP service tech bypassed the meter to temporarily restore service and told me to have the can replaced. I called Island Aire and they came out the same day, Within a month they had a new meter can in place. They coordinated the work with FLP and Lee County permiting. The entire process was highly professional from the office personal who kept me informed of each step along the way to the electrician who completed the installation.
This is the second time we’ve called them out for electrical issues! 1st time was for a fan installation and this time for outlet and lighting issues! Jason is very helpful and great about explaining things with new installations—showed us all the features on our new light and how to change the colors/ remove the cover to change the bulbs. This time he walked us through how he planned to fix our garage light so we would know what he was doing. We’ve had a great experience with them!
We came home to no heat, after 5:00 pm, after going away for a few days. We called Island Aire and they sent Will out within a few hours. He spent a couple of hours diagnosing the problem and getting us up and running. He explained their maintenance plan, and about having our unit cleaned. We decided to go with them and feel good that we have a plan in place to stay on top of things should something like this happen again. Thank you Will!
Sam is VERY professional and pleasant. He's very detail oriented about cleaning up any debris and vacuumed the area afterward. He walks you through the job especially the follow up with explanations. He concluded by asking me if I had any further questions for him. I would recommend him and Island Aire. N OTE: I was on a Maintenanceprogram with A prior HVAC vendor whose program was more expensive And Language communication difficulties.
Dalton came to our house for AC repair. Our unit was leaking water onto the floor beneath it. He cleared the drain which was clogged where we couldn’t reach it. He showed us how to effectively clean it and suggested a system to clean the drain. Multiple companies for the last 4 years didn’t do the proper service but several wanted me to buy a new system. My unit is 7 years old. Excellent service and now we have peace of mind.
Another good experience with Island Aire. Sam is relatively new with them and so likely hard to beat previous technicians that have serviced our systems; however he excelled by pointing out some nagging deficiencies, providing a quote for a 10 yr old unit on its last legs, and patiently answered my numerous questions. He came across as extremely knowledgeable on top of his pleasant personality.
Island Aire has been taking care of us for 3 years . I have also known Ron for 3 years now. He provides excellent service and takes good care of us. Always available for emergencies. Ron recommended the Reme Halo years ago and we did it. I am very glad we did it it has really cleaned our air. Very happy we took his recommendation. Highly recommend island Aire to all my neighbors and family .
We’ve had big air conditioning companies and smaller HVAC companies, like Kobe, and NO ONE can remotely compare to Island Aire. Matthew is amazing, super knowledgeable, very kind, patient, and down to earth. We will NEVER use any other company ever. We only trust, after years of sub par service, Island Aire. Thank you, Matthew for all you did for our home and family.
Thanks for your quick response to my problem of no heat and thank you for sending your best technician, Justin. All back in business and it was a pleasure working with Justin. Justin suggested the Halo filter and I will be giving it some consideration. I’ll be sure to call if I decide to have it installed. Thanks.
Highly recommend Island Aire. Same day service. Tyler and Brian were great. Tyler took the time to explain what needed to be repaired and gave honest recommendations. Brian came the same day and did the drain pipe install. Both were very courteous and professional. Thank you Island Aire and Tyler and Brian.
Island Aire was great. I got an immediate call from the technician, Casey and he was out at the time we agree upon. He was absolutely fantastic & walked me through the fix. An overall very positive experience and really fair pricing. I will absolutely use them again & recommend them to family & friends.
Ranaldo was our serviceman. He came with a friendly smile, was courteous and efficient. Went beyond expectations on the service. Was interested in knowing if there was any way to make their service even better. I have experienced this with each service person at Island Air.
Sam was excellent! Have used Island Aire since we had a new unit installed 9 years ago. Fantastic service and not one problem with the system. I find Island Aire to be responsive, professional, timely, and a nice group of people. Highly recommend.
Great interaction with Sam who was well dressed, personable and knowledgeable. Easy to contact the office, got a heads up for arrival and the work was completed within the timeframe quoted at a reasonable price. Will call again when I need to!
This was a scheduled tuneup. Could not be more pleased with Island Air. The technician was on time, courteous, knew what he was doing and explained everything as he worked. Highly recommend Island Air. Carl Paseo Ft Myers
Alex Morales did a great job. He worked countless hours to get it job done in the heat of the attic. Several days working until 8pm and later. He is easy going and happy to answer any questions. Thank you Alex.
From the sales manager, to the service manager, to the installers, all were extremely professional. I would highly recommend Island Aire of Southwest Florida to anyone that is in need of a new air conditioner.
Island Aire office staff and technicians have always been professional in how I've been treated as a customer. I feel comfortable knowing that my AC unit is in good hands with a company that you can trust.
It was an emergency call which we did not have to wait long for a technician. Ken resolved our issue with the unite promptly and very professional. I recommend Island air and will use them in the future.
Sam from Island Aire does more than air conditioning...saved me and my car on Friday 1/16/26....fabulous and wouldn't take a dime...great person. Efficient and thorough....cheers Sam !!!
Call today and technician came out within 30 minutes. Mario was very friendly and our air was fixed in no time. We have used Island Air several times before and I would highly recomend.
The gentleman was very nice and kind.cwe got service the same day we called. Everything was explained step by step. Billing was easy. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
I called, they had someone out within the hour. The technician Jason was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem right away. He was very professional.
The tech was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain in detail and did not use any pressure tactics. We were very impressed.
Casey is a tech that represents the quality of service your company provides. He is courteous and qualified. Send him back when scheduled maintenance is due.
Dishonest company. They do not honor their parts or labor warranty. I bought an AC unit from them that was discontinued, but still available. I was hesitant about that, but their salesman talked me into it stating, "at least you will be covered for a year." Six months later it started to need reset every other day. They tried to fix it over two weeks, but made it worse so it would not work at all. No problem, I'm covered by their written one year parts and labor warranty right? Wrong. They charged me full price for a new unit and $1100 labor for the two hours to install it. On top of this, they said they would have the thermostat working. Not only did they not get it working, but they stole half of it. I need to buy a new one and install it myself. They didn't even try to go back to the manufacturer to try to get reimbursement for the parts warranty of the old unit. They refused get the old unit working so I had a backup. I'm out $2,400 even though I had a written warranty. Edit: To respond to their claim that they went over everything we me before purchasing, no they never said they would not honor their parts and labor warranty. They had three weeks to fix the issue. They waited two weeks for a part and broke the unit completely trying to install it. I had no problem with this. Things happen. The tech said he didn't think he could get it to work and we should get a new unit. I agreed. I asked if the warranty would be covered. The tech's response was, "You'll have to see if the place you ordered from will be nice and honor their warranty." I dropped it there and emailed the owner a week later. The tech didn't even know I had a warranty through them. He didn't discuss with me that my warranty would not be honored for some reason only 6 months into a year warranty. As far as stealing the thermostat and warranty on the new unit I bought from them, the owner won't even respond to an email asking for information on either issue. I guess whatever warranty they have on the new unit doesn't matter if they won't honor it anyways.
Beau the service technician from Island Aire was great. Very nice, professional, detailed and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Highly recommend. Changing my review to 0 stars because of my last service on Dec 18, 2025. Tech was on time to do bi yearly service. I was in garage not wanting to bother him. When he came out I was told the inside coil was really dirty. showed me pictures of a really dirty coil. How much to clean it I asked $637.50. You also might think of getting an UV light that stop bacteria from growing on coil $760.75. Can't afford that, said they had a credit deal, no thanks. Watched him clean ac drain. He then told me he talked to his boss and if I do light cleaning is free. Something didn't seem right to so I contacted Eco Air for tech to give me price for cleaning coil. When he opened unit my mouth dropped open. He said coil was clean and I showed him the pictures from other tech and it wasn't my unit. Mine was a single coil pics were a double. Plus he installed UV light for for$600 and waived 2 year service of $125. Island aire is a total scam. Taking advantage of seniors. How can they sleep at night?
I would highly recommend staying away from this company. We had a brand new AC system installed that has given us nothing but problems. The system was clogging every 1-2 months and over the course of 2 years they had been out recommending numerous things and installing different pieces. Ultimately costing way too much money and never actually fixing the problem. We have had to have duct work replaced and have mold issues from condensation from improper sealing. The amount of issues we have had with our A/C since utilizing Island Aire is simply too much to even put in a review. My overall impression is pure incompetence and lack of fixing the issues adequately. I would highly recommend avoiding the use of this company for A/C issues
Beware. I dont know why so many good reviews. I think they pay for them. This company is very unprofessional. The tech is rude and lies. Left me hanging after charging a whooping 1200 to 'throw in' a condensor motor in 15 minutes but than said it doesn't work due to fan blades not attaching to motor "being stripped". Said they don't know if they can get even blades due to age. Pressured me non stop to buy new unit from them. Left with new motor in but not working. Never happened to me before that money was charged and job half finished.
Terrible Experience! Price Gouging! Was charged over $5000 to exchange a $1000 part that took 45 minutes to install. Tech left the HVAC enclosure panel loose and it was damaged during Hurricane Milton. No Integrity. A month has passed no investigation. Price Gouging! Poor Service! Did Not Finish the Job! Month two, No Resolution. Terrible Experience! Instead of Making it Right Island Aire wants to justify Price Gouging! This organization is not reputable. Did not finish the job!
I hired this company to fix partial electric in my mobile home. The Electrian spliced an under ground wire. At that time restored 100% electric in my home. I paid him. That night electric began cutting on and off. Next day called company to repair, no luck. That evening last all electric and called the emergency number. Company will only come out for A/C units emergency calls. I am now sitting in the dark NO ELECTRIC and my food is going to rot in my refrigator.
Terrible experience with the technician came in for my annual AC check up and ended up telling me at the end that I owed him over $1000 without even explaining to me prior. Then proceeded to take apart my electrical box in my garage along with my outlets because he said he was doing a check

I highly recommend this company. With the really hot weather coming, our house had a well used 16 year old a/c system that we felt was time to replace before it went inoperable all together. After a few other quotes, it was obvious to me this was the company to choose. Ron came to our home to assess what we needed. He was the only technician to climb into our attic space and look and measure the supply/return ducts/hoses and routing. Then suggest us what changes were needed to correct the balance of cool air needed at weak flow spots in my home. Ron was the only estimator to do this. That was notable to me and made a big difference with my choice. Quite frankly, after getting the equipment and work estimates from Island Aire, I felt the other estimates from other HVAC companies were rip offs. They all basically offered to change the equipment at the same cost or more, none addressed or even looked at the attic hoses and duct work for air flow efficiency. While you are going to spend thousands for new equipment, what is the sense of it if your air ducts are choked or poorly routed? You'll spend extra in electric bills over the life of the equipment if this isn't right. Ron looked at this. A true HVAC professional. I also want to commend the three technicians, Shane, Justin, and Wesley that removed replaced my a/c system. The equipment install performed included the air handler unit, some improvements to flow/ ducting and hoses in attic, 6 wire install for newer generation thermostat and the outside condenser unit. I recognize this is hard work. They worked constantly on a hot day, having to perform and climb around my attic space/ jungle gym. It's a hot, dusty, and very confined environment. Attic temps probably at 115F or more. They worked with concern for us, to get the system up and running quickly to lessen temperature hardship on us. Their install was professional skilled and has excellent quality. The job was completed in about 7 to 8 hours. They left my house and areas they worked very clean. Thanks again guys. Choose Island Aire of Southwest FL for your a/c needs. My experience has been like when you find a good doctor, barber or car mechanic. Island Aire of Southwest FL is who will be my go to for air conditioning service.
