Avoid this company at all costs! We fell for their sales pitch and agreed to have them replace our roof. That day was the last pleasant interaction with them; every step after that was awful; and after our insurance company questioned them, they completely disappeared. We called and left (unreturned) messages, and eventually decided it was for the best-- if they start out this bad, think how terrible the finished product would be! BUT, there was an extra consequence in dealing with them: our insurance company dropped us for filing the claim! So-- no roof AND no insurance. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

Kraft Roofing provided horrible work in almost every aspect of their work. They billed our insurance company for work not done or completed. Our roof and many other aspects of our home were damaged in May of 2012 by a hailstorm. Kraft roofing came out and made all sorts of promises and guarantees to their level of detail and fast timeline. The job was still not finished almost 1 year later and many things were done very poorly and not fixed even after coming out to fix the problems countless times. They damaged our home and personal belongings and did not want to make restitution even after admitting they damaged our belongings. Some of their staff and their owner Joe were abusive and rude. They made many threats and even placed a lien on our home even though they hadn't finished the work they were contracted to do. We are still in the process of having the repairs done and the work done that they did not do, and now they are threatening to sue us for the balance of the payment, again for work they did not complete. We spoke to our insurance company who assured us that they should not be paid for work they had not done. Our insurance company contacted us many times during the period of time that they were working on the repairs, informing me that Kraft was requesting a check for repairs that they had not done yet. I would let them know that the repairs were not done, so my insurance company would not pay. We were harassed by one of their people "Eric" with threats of fraud when I had asked them to pay for the new furniture they oversprayed paint on and destroyed our plants in front of the house. Kraft would then call and harass us, asking for us to lie to our insurance company and say that the repairs were done when they knew they were not. I refused to do so. 3 times they ordered the wrong garage door stating it was an error by the garage door contractor, we found out later that Kraft was purposely ordering a cheaper door and trying to slide by us without noticing. We are now being harassed by a person from Kraft named Jason Simms. He is their legal person apparently. Rather than discuss the issue he just is threatening me and saying they will only accept full payment even though they are aware that there was work not completed and have already offered to pay for replacement chairs and plants. He emailed us today and asked for full payment. When replying and trying to explain our position all he would say is "See you in court" and "I am going to garnish your paycheck, good luck in court" and "You will be responsible for lawyers fees" Just total guerrilla tactics, not human at all. They assume that people will run or fold when a lien is put on their home or if threatened with a lawsuit. Do not use Kraft Roofing under any circumstances unless you want to have a lien placed on your home as I have found they have a habit of doing. I have found at least 2 other reviews this year with a similar story to ours. We are even willing to pay them with the balance of what they believe is owed to them, minus what we had to pay another contractor to finish the work with, and minus the cost to replace our chairs and plants. Now they are threatening to sue us if we don't pay in full when they didn't even finish the job. They were paid over $10k already. They are well represented on RipOff Reports website: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/specific_search/Kraft%20Roofing New info: I filed with the BBB and Kraft Roofing won't answer. Then I just found out today that the owner just pays $35 to file a lawsuit and sends that data to BBB so they take any negative reviews off the site because it is in litigation. They have an A+ rating with BBB with 0 complaints, lol. Just search Kraft Roofing Complaints and you will see that an A+ is highly unlikely without doing tricks like this.
