My experience with Linear Roofing was not positive. Mark Larson has absolutely no respect for private property. I live in a gated community and on the gate there is a sign that says no soliciting and yet Mark Larson still felt the need to go door to door. The gate also has another meaning, no trespassing. Under Texas Penal Code § 30.05 it states a physical structure which in this case was a gate preventing entry. Just because one person requested a quote, as soon as Mark Larson went to any other house it was criminal trespass. So if you decide to use Linear Roofing, my experience with them shows a lack of respect of property and willing to break the law to gain business. Locally there is also a law prohibiting what they did: Sec. 4.05.006. - Entrance to premises restricted. It shall be unlawful for any peddler, solicitor, mobile food establishment, temporary food establishment operator or seasonal food establishment operator to enter upon any private premises or to ring the doorbell or rap or knock in any way in a manner calculated to attract the attention of the occupant when such premises are posted with a sign stating "No Peddlers Allowed" or "No Solicitations Allowed" or other words to such effect. Given that on the gate a no soliciting sign was posted, that covers all houses in the gated community. There are many roofing contractors, this is not the one you want to use unless you want to hire a company that is willing to commit a crime just to sell their services.

Linear Roofing replaced my roof last year, and I later discovered an active leak at the front corner of my garage caused by an issue with the flashing. This has since resulted in mold formation, which needs to be addressed quickly. I’ve reached out to Linear Roofing multiple times over the past 5–6 months, but I haven’t received any response. It’s disappointing to experience this level of customer service after a full roof replacement. I am requesting that the company contact me promptly to correct the flashing, stop the leak, and address the mold before further damage occurs. I sent an email to the email address you have provided last week but haven’t received a response yet. I hope the reply you posted here is a genuine commitment to resolve the issue and not just a response for the review. I’m still waiting to hear back.

I had a young 22 year old come out and said my roof had a lot of damage and that there were shingles in my front yard from my roof. He looked at my attic which looked like it might have water from the rain. I noticed a cap in the yard and he stated it wasn’t part the roof…. I told him I had a meeting on Thursday March 13 at 9 am and at 9:01 am he texted me and said he was running late. The insurance adjuster said the shingles in front yard was from my neighbors, roof looked the best in the neighborhood and the cap was for my house and was the reason why I had water in the attic. So he’s a typical young person not knowing what they are doing plus they feel everyone should work around their schedule. Linear needs to do a better job of training their employees!!! I would recommend people think twice about working with Linear!!!

This is a revision to my initial review. The roofing work was done competently (in other words, no leaks). The financial dealings with Linear, however, were sketchy and suspicious. I would not work with linear on any future project ever again. I cannot do business with companies that I cannot trust. We were given a statement for our roof replacement but after it was finished, our linear representative informed us of several thousand dollars in supplemental costs which mysteriously cropped up and which we were responsible for out of our own pocket immediately.

They come and leave cards in my door every single week, and I throw every single one away. Of course when you open the door it’s always “Hey I know you’ve heard from a lot of other roofers but…” But nothing. And I turned all other 50 or so roofers that have knocked on my door and also ignored the no soliciting sign away. What makes you think I would let you speak such nonsense on my porch if I didn’t let the others do it? My neighborhood also has a no soliciting rule so the fact I even have to put a sign up just shows how ignorant this company is.

Guy walked right by our no soliciting sign and rang the bell and proceeded to give my wife a line about even though we’ve had our roof inspected they will do it and get insurance to pay for it anyway. Sounds kind of sketchy, doesn’t it?

If I could give 0 stars I would. My client's roof failed the dry in inspection and there was never a final inspection. I have called them multiple times and have not received a call back. This is preventing my client from selling his home.

Poor service and harassing and rude site manager. Stay away from this company. Once you signed the contract, you are trapped. They are more interested in your money than service.

I have a bad experience with this company! They came knocking on my door and they told me they would help me file the insurance claim and get a good estimate for my roof. I contacted my home insurance filed a claim and it turns out that they said my roof had no damage. But the contractors that came by had told me my roof was in terrible shape! so they had me going with the insurance for a long time and they never really gave me answer. The guy that was helping me said they would take action if the insurance didn't want to replace my roof that they would be able to help me out. The guy never called! I guess he saw no profit so he just didn't care!! So I decided to call a manager after a few months to see were I stood because they had promise to help. It turns out the contractor that was helping me wasn't even working for the company anymore. So he left me hanging never called didn't tell anybody about my case! I was so mad.. so I spoke to the manager and he said another contractor out to look at my roof! He came in my home and took many pictures! Then we did all the work again and they wanted me to file another claim when I already had one open!! I send them all the information I had gotten previously with the insurance so they could see were I stood!! The guy Enrique another contractor never called again. They knew that I had water coming in through the roof, he said he would help me get that covered! NEVER HAPPENED! I again send him a message about coming out or just to give me an update! But he gave me another excuse!! I just needed an answer! They could of said " we can't help you" that's all not leave me looking dumb with my insurance and filling claims!!! So please beware if they knock on your door!!

Billing discrepancies: I was billed for the full insurance settlement, even when the project did not include all items, leading to unexpected costs and raising of insurance rates. No exact quote on price was ever provided, even after repeat attempts to get a price. We had agreed on the 10k depreciation value, with a 11k upfront cost. 21k for a roof job is not bad. To then get my settlement check and they claimed they were owed all of it (it was 22k), claiming they did all sorts of additional work needed to the roof that i did not approve for (meaning my insurance paid for it and my rate will go up). They charged my insurance altogether 33k for a standard roof job. I had been quoted by other companies for the entire roof job for about 20k. To top it off, they ruined my house siding and they said it was not part of the insurance or what they cover causing me additional requiring additional out-of-pocket expenses. Even my insurance company said Linear Roofing was constantly bugging them to get more money out of them for the claim. Do not use them for insurance claims. They'll over charge and it will cost you in the long run on your monthly payments. They left a mess outside my house, they gave me a hard time when I tried to cancel the contract and or push the date and they eventually said it was too late to push the date to start the project. These guys are pros and working on getting money. They do not care about customer service, they only care about getting their money. Avoid them, especially David (he's very professional, and very nice, he does not care what you want, he will politely insist and push on starting the job and getting paid).

Good project managers, flawed back office operations and horrible owners who make promises but don't follow up. Do not recommend and if you still wish to engage them, do so with caution, understanding that a company is tested when things don't go as planned. Linear roofing was a company I engaged 8/21/20 for a roof replacement and initially were getting great marks across the board. They didn't complete the job as planned, and the lack of a roof resulted in significant damage to my home during a storm in the middle of their installation. They initially started to say the right things and so I paid them each time an invoice was provided. When I submitted reimbursement claims, they initially agreed to pay, but never reimbursed me for out of pocket expenses. Today 3/18/21, I suddenly received a past due invoice when I have not had any responses from them in months. Their accounting is also flawed as my checks that they deposited are not reflected on their invoice and they don't want to make payments to me that they agreed to in writing for repairs caused by the damage they did by not completing the roof install and tarping the roof. This was the straw that broke the camel's back and prompted me to now leave a negative review where previously, they tried their best and I was sympathetic and willing to work with them to resolve issues.

Started off great. Amazing sales pitch about being family owned and very protective of your property. We wanted the work done after Christmas. They insisted before 2020 ended. They promised to reinstall our Christmas lights. After 1 weeks and 2 days before Christmas, I had to to take a day off work and reinstall everything because there were no light contractors available. They promised to reimburse me but it's Feb 2021 and they are avoiding us. They destroyed $4000 in new landscaping and yet have reimbursed us. They destroyed a $6000 solid wood garage door and yet have we been reimbursed. They leaked oil all over the driveway which we finally got removed. Tore up our new rain gutters which they took responsibility for. I was promised the owner would come to my house to review everything and he has never called me or showed up at our house. The roofers threw their chicken bones in my yard after lunch. They never moved back any of our patio furniture. A bunch of sales reps from the gym business who constantly give you the run around. My only option is to contact a lawyer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

*LINEAR ROOFING - STAY AWAY from them. I would not recommend using them unless you are prepared to pay out of pocket.* This may be just my experience but thought it may help others. Hello All - - This is a perfect example of over promise and under deliver. They got me into the roof replacement saying zero out of pocket expenses. They kept insisting the same till January this year (job was done in September 2022) and now saying that they cannot cover as it is not accepted by insurance company. Even their job was not up to the mark. they just replaced shingles only and said there is not need to replace the frame under that, but still charged for that. The lightening arrestor re-install costed lot more than the original installation.. Just bringing this up so that you will be careful with them in the future. There are guys Ethan and Mike perfect salesmen to sell the job saying zero out of pocket, but changed their story saying that it will be a small out of pocket in my case a significant amountI. They promised they have a great back office but it's all to get your job..

Used them for a high-end roof and gutter replacement. Very regret, low quality of roof work and does not honor promise. (1) When signing the contract, did not give price based upon the scope of work but ask for all the payment from insurance and deduction; (2) Even with such a contract, still does not honor agreement, tried to do much less - I would have to fight upon one item after another to get them done, or get it half way done. (3) Low quality of roof work - denied installation mistake when the ridge shingle was installed only one layer, use storm as excuse, but there is no storm damage; (4) When the installation damage the flush sealant, deny to admit and fix. To be more specific, below work has not done based upon the contract and agreement: (1) Flush (between wall and roof) damaged sealant repair; (2) Gutter screen not complete; (3) Concrete crack filling not complete; (4) Ventilation cap replacement; (5) About 10 feet ridge mistakenly installed single layer.

I would not recommend Summit and Linear Roofing. This was not a good experience at all. To begin with, I was constantly reminded that I needed to pay my deductible which was fine. So I expected all of the work to be done. They just painted my garage door which was done poorly and didn't replace the door. If I'm expected to do my part then they should to but if they were going to do like other roofers then let me know. Next, the gutter company did not replace my leaf covers on the side of my house like I had before and I only noticed when I had to put my solar light back up, which they didn't do. Very poor work. I would not recommend this company at all. Go with a company that your neighbors have years of success and experience with. I even called and tried speaking with someone and they NEVER called back.

Even though we (homeowners) have a no soliciting sign on the home, Zach Kahn (linear roofing) still comes and leaves his business card on our door. Then when you address this issue with the contractor he tells you "you didn't have to have an interaction with me and you should have just thrown away my card." Zach doesnt understand that if he didn't leave the card then there wouldn't have been an interaction. Zach Kahn does not and will not respect a potential customer. If you'd like to talk to management, don't hold your breath they don't/won't answer your emails. This is the way that business is conducted? Zero stars

Where do I start. Horrible company. Will harass you for a quote even though I told them 4x we already have a Roofing company. In 1 day they came by 4x to talk to me about a free quote (4 different "project managers"). Horrible business practice. I have a no solicit sign and this company is in clear violation of this and should be fined. Numerous other households in my neighborhood complained the same that this company will just not leave you alone. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Buyer beware! I can say that they replaced my roof and they did a good job. I still have not gotten the warranty paperwork to receipt but it is the "extras". I was told they would help me take on the big bad insurance company and get more money to help with painting and other repairs that needed to be done but once the check for the roof was in their hands they were gone. I am not sure integrity is high on the list for them and that is very disappointing.

I really don't appreciate door knockers who lie & say, "we're working on your neighbor's roof" if it's a lie. I asked who is the customer & got "the Rider's". When I said I didn't recognize the name (small community & we know the neighbors' names) he said didn't remember their address, but he'd let me know. Lie... He came back to leave a car, but did not give any customer information.... Kamron Chapman- do better!

I called 469-268-4091 & pressed three they kept picking up the phone & hanging it up. Then I called back & pressed one for sales & I asked the person that answered if I could speak to the manager & she said she had to know why I wanted to speak to the manager. This type of business scares me. It seems they are hiding from customers.

I have a giant "No soliciting" sign on my door and after they finished my neighbors roof they knocked repeatedly, waking up my toddler and then told me they saw the sign but wanted to give me a card anyway. Seriously don't hire a company that is going to fail to provide even the most minimal amount of respect.

A guy knocked on my door the morning after a recent hail storm. He asked if he could look at the roof. Afterwords he said our 2 year old roof was a complete insurance redo. We have since had it inspected and they said ZERO damage. This company comes across similar to an ambulance chaser.

I had hail damage to the roof, vents and gutters. I had been getting around to getting it fixed, and was visited by a sales guy from Linear Roofing. I agreed to have them do the work, and they seemed know what they were doing, but they were sloppy, so sloppy that they put the safety of my family at risk. Besides, never really finishing, and leaving roofing materials that we had to clean up, they provided no help / room with the deductible and would not work with me (it was a $50,000 job). What is worse, after they finished, there was no walk through, although the sales guy said someone from the company inspected the roof. During the job, only workers were present and no one that we could communicate with. Finally, about 5 months later, I discovered that the exhaust pipes from two of our gas water heaters, had never been replaced. This means that the exhaust from the propane water heaters went directly into the attics where the water heaters were located. One of these was right behind my daughter's bedroom. Well I called the sales guy who originally badgered me and was only interested in getting his money, and he was arrogant and indignant. They did come by a few days later and re-attach the exhaust pipes so the exhaust would go up through the roof. But they acted like it was no big deal and happens all of the time. As far as I know, the roof was repaired properly, I guess. But the customer service and sloppiness put my family in danger.

They will over-promise and under-deliver to get the contract. We were told all the work from hail damage could be completed with insurance $$ +our deductible. All damage was NOT completed, but still billed us for entire insurance settlement + our deductible. We had to spend additional out-if-pocket for siding repairs. Dryer vent was not repair correctly.
