When your a/c technician comes out on Labor Day and has a good attitude and fixes your problem in less than a half hour, you know you're working with the right people. Dorvil was great! I am so happy with the service we received today and can't recommend this company highly enough. They are clean, respectful, and good at what they do. They had Dorvil come out within an hour of our phone call this morning. Update for another service call- Karel was amazing! He came out on the early spectrum of my time window, was super fast, super clean, and my AC works again in the summer. Thank you again! 2022 update- Edwin went above and beyond for me! He taught me some cleaning hacks and helped with the thermostat. Jason is awesome!! Not only was he very personable, polite, & professional... (Not at all your typical sketchy repair guy. I was very comfortable with his presence in my home.) He also arrived very quickly! A huge bonus in the sweltering south Florida heat!! He explained everything he was doing, what the common problems are with our a/c unit & how much they typically cost to repair, what the different noises were that our unit was making, and what to look for as a sign of a problem in the future. He completed the repairs quickly & cleaned up any mess he may have created. Jason is an excellent representative for One Hour A/C. They're lucky to have him as an employee!! When Karl arrived, he was dressed, groomed and displayed the attitude of a professional, a far cry from other service technicians that have had the opportunity to visit our home. Karl was interested in knowing exactly what our AC system was and was not doing rather than just jumping in and start disconnecting wires, fuses, relays etc. Next was a look at the thermostat to ensure the settings were correct. Karl then began to troubleshoot our AC system. As he worked, he kept us advised of the progress. In just over an hour Karl had discovered and repaired the malfunction of our AC system. A great job by a professional who I will definitely welcome into our home should the need arise again. Thanks for a job well done.
Tasch is an excellent HVAC technician who always goes the extra mile to fully service our AC unit. Today he recommended that we tighten up our plenum box a bit and also replaced valve covers on our outside unit. In my experience the average technician would not have bothered with either issue but Tasch really takes ownership of the situation and is not satisfied until the job is done right. In a world where everyone is in a big rush and quality has gone by the wayside Tasch is a throwback to when people really took pride in their work. His efforts are greatly appreciated by myself and my family and we will always request him when it's time for maintenance or repairs of our AC system.

My AC was not working properly so I called One Hour. They were able to book an appointment that day with a service fee of just $45, less than the other companies I called. The tech called to inform that he was on the way..they showed up on-time and after a short 45 min repair the unit was up and running. The service fee was waived and the cost of the repair was very reasonable. The tech took the time to explain everything he did and gave some helpful advice to keep my electric bill down. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I referred them to several friends and they all had good experiences like me. I will use them again.
Dustin came out to my apartment on Saturday 2/16/25. He called back right away and was at my home in less than an hour. He was very respectful & very knowledgeable, Kind, which is rare for this industry and especially for a young man only 27 years old. He must have been brought up right by his parents. I am 68 and I have hundreds of employees working for me and I know a good person/employee when I see one. I called last night at eight-thirty my air air-conditioning unit was leaking water . One Hour Air had a repair technician out first thing in the morning. My technician was Brian what a wonderful gentleman. He was even nice enough to order me a six month supply of air conditioning filters, which will be delivered to my house. For someone who lives in South Florida I truly appreciate the fact that I called at night and the next morning I had somebody out to my house to repair my air conditioner.
Everytime I call One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of West Palm Beach, i get a prompt response and same-day scheduling. The technician arrived right on time, was courteous, explained the issue, and completed the repair quickly. I appreciated the prompt response and the professional attitude. There is no longer any leaking water in my garage and and the unit is working fine, and the price was fair. I would definitely recommend them for any HVAC maintenance or emergency HVAC repair needs.
One Hour Air recently installed a new air conditoner. The entire process from sales with Brian, to installation with Joe and crew and Kim’s help in registering the unit with the manufacturer was a great experience. Carlton was the tech that came out. Very courteous, Fixed advised didn't even try to over charge like most do.... Great job. Understood my situation. I am caretaker for my 88 y/o Mother. He's great. I was very impressed with the communication before the actual visit. They sent me the contact card to add to my contacts. Then, the status updates were good, both from the office and the technician, Rashid. Rashid was friendly, a good communicator, and very respectful in explaining the process of the work and the charging. All in all, the experience was fast, clear, and well done!

It was time to install a new AC unit. From talking to Kim in the Office and having Andre come out to look at my AC Unit that failed. Damian & Jared came out the next day and Installed a new unit. Andre was sent today to deal with a bit of a mess from yesterday. He was able to isolate and locate a hard to find and reach area that my AC pipe came out during a prior service by a different technician. It was in the ceiling and put he was able to put back together. We will see tomorrow if my issue is solved. Now just have to fix ceiling and walls.
Ron from Benjamin Franklin/One Hour arrived quickly, kept in communication as to his ETA. He did a thorough quote on a number of household plumbing fixes we needed and provided a quote via email while onsite. He has many years experience in both plumbing and AC and gave great advice on the repairs needed. I will be scheduling for repairs shortly.
My AC wasn’t cooling right most of the summer my landlord reached out the this company. Mr Moe was my technician….super fast and reliable service and he explained everything that was going on with my air conditioning and told me what the issues were.I would definitely recommend this company again ! We have a very, very old unit that quit on us over the weekend. Tasch and Joseph worked together this morning to breathe life back into her and replace the thermostat to make sure we had AC. They did a very thorough job and I could not have been happier with the outcome. They pulled out every trick in the book to make it work for us.
Michael was early for the scheduled appointment. He text and called to let me know he was on the way. Michael was very thorough in his inspection and offered a detailed explanation of findings. He also commented on some things he saw wrong with my water heater as a courtesy. Seems to really care about the safety of their customers!!!!!

I have never given a company a 1 star review before. Typically, I only go out of my way to post a review when I feel compelled to recognize a company that I feel has gone above and beyond my expectations. Unfortunately, I feel obligated to warn others before using this company. My air conditioner stopped working on Saturday September 11, 2021. As always, I turned to google to find a reputable company. When I first called One Hour Air, I should have seen the red flags go up as they tried to schedule someone to come out on Monday. My house had already heated up to 87 degrees, so I asked if there was anyway to get someone out as an emergency. After some time, they agreed that they could send some one out to look at it. The gentleman that came out seemed very nice. It didn’t take him long to diagnose the issue, which he claimed was the blower motor and the coils. He quoted me just under $3000 to replace these parts, but he wouldn’t even be able to order the parts until Monday. Now, it’s Monday. I get a call from One Hour Air. They asked me if I paid for my emergency visit and how I paid which I replied “Yes, I used a credit card.” They proceed to tell me that there is no record of payment and the tech had not recorded any information regarding the visit. Apparently, the tech they had sent had only been with the company for 3 days before they sent him out alone on an emergency call to my house. Now, 2 days later, he was no longer with the company, so they were unable to obtain information from him. When I inquired about why he was no longer with them, they responded that ‘sometimes things come out’. I guess that’s open for interpretation. They wanted me to wait until Tuesday late afternoon to send another tech to take a look at the unit. Meanwhile, it is still 87 degrees in my house. I decided to have another company come out. This company came out and determined the issue was an electrical component and a fuse, which they conveniently had on hand. They were able to fix my unit in an hour and it only cost me $470. They also warned me that some companies will claim your coils need to be replaced even when they don’t. I called One Hour Air and inquired about getting a refund due to the unique situation. If they had sent out one of their seasoned techs, I wouldn’t have asked for a refund. However, they sent out someone who had only been with them 3 days, misdiagnosed the issue, and in their own words “made no record of the visit”. If they would have acknowledged that my interaction with their company was not up to their standards and as a courtesy refunded my money, I would not have wrote this review. People make mistakes, but I believe people should try to right their wrongs.
If I could use a 0 I would. The company was great and in the last few years it went downhill, we had our business maintenance for over 10 years, without many repair calls. We just fired them. In June our HVAC system failed we called, they scheduled the repair promptly, but the Tech was rude to our employee and unprofessional. We also do not believe he checked the system thoroughly and all his recommendation was to change our filters. Fast forward a month later our System completely failed. So we called for service again, and were scheduled an appointment for the same day. But the tech came, the unit was still semi frozen and he stated I will need to come back tomorrow and I will set you up as priority, first thing. No appointment was confirmed I called and the schedule service had no appointment. I had to call a 2nd time to find out that he is coming back between 12-4. We finally get a confirmation but from a different tech. He was on his way at 1pm but did not show up until after 2pm. He had no ladder to get on our roof, they know this is a commercial building and a commercial contract. He also decided that a storm is coming so he cannot do the repair and he would come back later. We said OK. Then I got a phone call from the office, trying to reschedule the original guy for the next day (or way late after we close). Now we are two days without AC or diagnosis. So we fired them. We do not recommend them as your service…. Our new HVAC maintenance Company, was fantastic came in with a crew and got us fixed as promised at a great price and now has our contract. We will give them a great review.
Hello, my name is James. Your AC Tech, Brian was here yesterday, after arriving 1.5 hours late, on July 29th to fix the leak in my upstairs air conditioner. After he tried to sell me a membership to thier business, he did about 25 minutes of work, which he "guaranteed,". I then paid a $388.79 bill, and he left. He didn't even open up the AC unit to look in side of it. IT IS STILL LEAKING! Now I've been told I have to pay another $150.00 "After-Hours" fee for another Tech to come look at the same problem. I am 100% dissatisfied with your service. If it is not corrected, I will be disputing the payment with my bank, and reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. This company made contact with me and resolved the issue. Thank you!
Truly shocked at the great reviews as our experience has been the opposite. We signed the paperwork for One Hour to replace a part on the unit they installed less than 5 years ago and that is covered under warranty and now they are ghosting us. It has been over two weeks and we have called many times asking for updates on the repair. I guess because we chose to replace the part and not buy a new unit they don’t actually want to do anything for us? Just sad sad sad customer service. At least say- no we won’t honor the warranty and have no intention of getting the part. Instead they leave us hanging and won’t return calls as if we have done something wrong. Just pathetic.
I do not recommend to use the maintenance plan with this company because although they state service calls are covered under the plan they are not as after they come out they will state the basic maintenance that was provided is a repair and charge you additional fees. You end up paying twice as much than any other company and due to the signed maintenance contract you have no recourse and bound to the contract. In conclusion, I recommend not using this company for any AC issues. I usually never leave any negative feedback but this company claims services are covered under the plan that are not. Misleading and poor customer service.
1,000s wasted! NOT LOCAL. Majority of good reviews are very old. GOOGLE REVIEWS ARE NOT ACCURATE AND SOME ARE FAKE. ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS SELL YOU AN ENTIRE UNIT FOR 10,000 which others will do for 6,000. They replaced my AC 5 years ago and had to replace the inside coil again after only 3 years and now they need to replace the outside Sept 2024. After signing the quote with warranty parts and paying for labor they haven’t returned my call in 2 weeks. $2,000 to fix a unit less then 5yrs old. I’ve called them 5 times and talk to their call center.
I had a very disappointing experience today. I was initially told the technician was just 13 minutes away, but it ended up taking him nearly two hours to arrive. When he finally showed up at 4 PM, he appeared unprepared to start the job. He gave us a crazy $1,000 quote to install two bathroom fans but then said it was too late in the day to complete the work. This was extremely frustrating and felt like a complete waste of time. I previously had my AC fixed and received great service so this may be a stand alone unprofessional tech…
They came out for a leak and told us we need an entirely new system and quoted us over $20,000. I had 2 other companies come out and say we can wait longer to replace, and both quotes were well under $10,000.

2025 update: just placed order for my 2nd unit (house has two). Rashad was professional, took his time to explain everything and was great to work with. Awaiting the installation of my unit! Very happy return customer! 2023 Update: Moe visited 6/7/23 and I remain impressed with continued excellence. Moe was in training (first day) but he was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. He was able to provide sound advice and was very professional. I continue to recommend these guys - haven’t let me down yet! 2022: Dorvil came out today to service my two split systems (residential). I purchased one of the units from OneHour Air last year (very satisfied) and still have an original from when the house was built! Dorvil was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and was very clean! I feel he took his time, answered my questions and gave me sound advice!! Highly recommend maintenance from this company - especially if Dorvil is your tech! Request him!!
