WHAT A NIGHTMARE! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! RCI Roofing put on a new roof and made repairs to the interior of my home due to water damage; however it was not done correctly. I have pictures showing the plywood does not meet at the top of the ridge (about a 3"x5" hole), but they will not complete the job correctly. Poor workmanship and poor customer service! BEWARE!!! RCI is however very good at changing their story. I was told by RCI that I could not get anyone else to touch my roof because it would invalidate the warranty. Every time there is a lot of rain (including Harvey) the damage becomes worse. They say it is standard to leave a 3 inch gap but according to 3 other companies that is not true... It is only acceptable when there is a ridge vent on top. I originally had a ridge vent but when RCI put on the new roof they installed plywood all the way to the top--- EXCEPT for 5 inches (which is the 3"x5" hole). They were too lazy or maybe even too cheap to install the last 5 inches correctly. They brought out their own engineer that said he could not validate the location of the problem without taking further steps... however RCI interprets that to mean their is no problem. He suggested to try water testing; however RCI ran from that suggestion real quick because they knew it would show water getting into my house. Instead, they came out and put a bandaid on the hole (Ice and Shield) instead of simply replacing the plywood. I had a chimney company that was recommended by their engineer to come out and say that everything points to the flashing and that a hole that close to the flashing can EASILY be the problem. He said there were no signs of water intrusion through the brick and ruled out that concern. I also sent pictures of the hole to a home inspector and my insurance company and they agreed the plywood should not have a gap and that it is installed incorrectly. They also said that air infiltration would only be a problem if there was an attic involved which is not the case. The lies from RCI are unreal! I sincerely question the knowledge, skills and integrity of RCI!

I must say I am HIGHLY disappointed in this company. I called after hurricane Beryl to get a quote on a roof repair. Although they were prompt to come out and give me an estimate, it took their office more than a month and a half to contact us for an appointment. Then, there is MY BIGGEST issue. First they show up with incorrect materials, then I get told that the quote I docusigned was too low. It would now be 3x the orginal price. They seemed to care more about redoing my entire roof as the topic kept being pushed toward financing and eligibility for "total roof replacement". I have been holding out for over a month to do business with this company (not to mention dreading every time I see rain forecasted) and now I'm being told it's 3x more. Personally, I find this to be a bad business practice and I am truly disappointed in the way my case was handled.

Had a representative visit mother's house for a free estimate. Took the morning off and moved my schedule around to accommodate. The morning of - had to remind the project manager there was an appointment set up; she stated she made a mistake on her calendar. They still arrived (late) and took an assessment. Never received a quote from 09/16/24.

Based on the way their truck guys drive, I would never hire them to put a roof on my house!! No respect. No common curtesy to use a blink and almost sideswiped me because his lane ended and he wasn't paying attention!! Don't drive like a jerk if you are going to have your business name on the side of your truck!!

Wouldn't hire these guys to put a roof on an outhouse. Undependable and unreliable. Had an appointment for them to give me an estimate on roof repair. Guy never showed up and when I left a voice mail for him he never bothered to return the call.

Considered going with this company until a short man with a short temper decided to be very unprofessional. Do not talk to the man with glasses that has a belly bigger than his mouth.

I had a skylight installation done by this company. They left space in the roof and when it rains the water comes through and I’m not satisfied with the service.

This company has zero respect for its clients. Hammering making noise at 6am. They did this on my days off. Took 3 days for one simple roof.

they're crooks, came out and did the work with no contract in place after I asked multiple times to see paperwork on the job, told me the tree removal would be $3500, and the tarp for the roof would be $950.00, after work was completed they said we will send over a contract for you to sign for the job, I said I asked for that before the job began, Eddie stated that he had been busy and couldn't get it to me, I said no big deal, send it over, once I received the email, he jacked both prices up, the tree removal to $6900 and the tarp cost to $1200, for a total of $8100, when we agreed to $4450, in addition to that, they destroyed a piece of my pack patio concrete with their payloader, which will cost me even more money to fix. I asked why did the price go up so much, that wasn't what we talked about and agreed upon, I was told that your insurance is willing to pay it, it won't be any money out of your pocket, so let's not worry about it, I said it is money out of my pocket because the insurance company sent me the check to pay the contractors. I feel like I'm being cheated and scammed, I will only be paying what we agreed upon, I still haven't signed any paperwork/contract, and won't be signing it unless it's the price that we shook on initially, if not we can meet in court, and let the lawyers decide what's owed.

Called RCI on the recommendation of several of my neighbors. Roofer came out for inspection and did not bring a ladder that was tall enough to get on the roof. He told me he would come by tomorrow and take a look and send me an estimate. Okay that's fine. I follow up with the roofer after a week has gone by and he told me he would have the estimate to me by the end of the day. Check my email the following day and nothing. Radio silence after that. Not a good way to get a potential clients business.

Got a roof done by them less than 3 years ago and it is already leaking. Now they are dodging my calls and refused to meet with the insurance estimator several times. My roof came with a 5 year warranty and at this point it will run out before they ever answer my phone calls. Please DO NOT USE this roofing company.

this is the worst roofing company ive ever dealt with.the costumer service was bonkers and im disappointed. my roof looks worse than before.

There is very little to say positive about this company except the receptionest and other employees are courtest. The owner Raul and I clashed on more than one occasion and I found him rude. RCI is all about money and not keeping the client happy. This was after Hurrican Harvey and when Raul first came out he immediately said " you need a new roof". Both myself and the insurance company disagreed. What work they did do on our roof was over priced and not done correctly. We had to call several times to get them to come backout to honor their warranty. I do NOT recommend RCI Roofing for any size job. Rebecca and Cyrus Samie Spring,Texas
