You only have one opportunity to pick the right company to put a new replacement roof. If you make the wrong choice you will continue to pay over the life of the roof if it isn’t installed correctly. So I took the time to speak with the 3 recommended roofing companies and ended up choosing Royal Roofing for our 9 unit apartment complex. After speaking 30 minutes with Steve Pinkus (owner 43 years) I had the confidence that Royal Roofing was the right company. Alex Rodriguez the supervisor on the project did an excellent job working with our property management company and our tenants. Now that the job is finished, still feel great about our decision and know there is a long established company standing behind the warranty of our roof. Based on my experience with Royal Roofing, I plan to use them on our next apartment complex and would highly recommend to others.

The entire crew and foreman Guillermo were so reliable and tidy. They always cleaned up after each work day. We had a great experience with Steve, who took the time to explain to us each step of the process and we always knew we could ask him any questions and he would answer truthfully. We were especially impressed at how they went above and beyond, doing little things on the job that they didn’t have to do like sealing a crack in our chimney. There was always good communication about the status of our roof, including lots of photos and videos. And the entire crew was hard working and extremely friendly. We fully recommend this company if you need any roofing work done.

We recently bought an older home that was in desperate need of a completely new roof, and we’re so glad we chose Royal Roofing. Steve assured us we’d get quality materials and service, and he truly delivered. The team was fast, professional, and cleaned up the property every day — no nails or debris left behind. Royal Roofing replaced the roof at the Claremont Presbyterian Children’s Center. They were willing to work on the project outside of normal business hours to keep the kids safe. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the work site every day, leaving debris behind. The roof installation is very well done. There were a lot of small items they discovered that needed repair, which they took care of without delay. We received excellent communication from the job foreman and the office staff. A job well done.

Royal did a patch job for me two years ago for my flat roof. It was pricey - quality work isn’t cheap. They also added clay tiles to my back porch. The team was professional and respectful. 18 months later I had a leak where they added the clay tiles. It took a little work, once they came out though the technician found and repaired the problem in 5 min. Since this work I’ve gotten two quotes for additional work. They are very transparent and I trust them impeccably.

Everyone at Royal Roofing was very easy and pleasant to work with. On the day of our quote, Steve the Owner came out and he handed us a portfolio, which included their insurance info, licenses number, what services they do etc...I didn't have to chase them down for any of this info he came prepared, and we hired them to replace one roof and patch another one. The replaced roof passed any and all city inspections.

Owner Steve and his crew were awesome to work with. He showed up right on time and his crews were there every morning and diligently cleaned everything up every evening at the end of their day. Steve and his foreman would keep me apprised of the progress and finished everything up ahead of schedule. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for flat roof repair or replacement.

On Friday January 10, 2020, I discovered that the flat roof section of my rental had been blown over and folded in half by the heavy winds of the night before. I started calling people that had had recent roof jobs and asked for contact information for the roofers. None of the roofers that I contacted called me back that day so I decided on Saturday morning to look for a roofer on Angie's List. My search for roofers revealed a number of companies in the area, but the one that caught my eye was Royal Roofing in Bell Gardens. The reason they caught my eye was because they have been in business since 1980 and have great customer reviews. Through Angie's List, I decided to contact Royal Roofing. An answering service took my message and within minutes I received a call from Steve Pinkus, president of Royal roofing. Steve took the time to address my concerns and stated that he would do everything possible to help me get the problem resolved before expected rains on Thursday, January 16. Steve was able to get Johnny Bravo, one of their service representatives to come out and inspect my roof that same morning. On the spot Johnny, conducted a video call with Steve and they came up with the best solution to resolve a problem that had not been addressed by the previous roofer. On that same Saturday, within an hour I had a reasonable estimate which included a discount for using Angie's List. After discussing the estimate with my wife, we decided to go ahead and get the job done. Steve had a crew at my rental property first thing Tuesday morning and by Thursday at noon, the job had been completed. The work looks amazing, the workers were professional and clean. Steve kept me updated with photos, calls and text messages every step of the way. Steve, Laura (in the office) and Stephanie Pinkus, the owner, were all so pleasant and brought a family feel to the whole ordeal. The customer service and responsiveness I received from Royal Roofing is very difficult to find nowadays. I will definitely be referring Royal Roofing to friends, family and coworkers. Another testimonial for the superior customer attention from Royal Roofing! The company came to our HOA's rescue when we had to urgently replace the hot water boiler on our roof. We had the work scheduled for 3 weeks in advance, but had to move it forward due to the situation. The boiler company told us that we had 48 hours to find a roofing company to be at our building so that when they removed the old equipment and pad the roofing company could immediately inspect the area under the pad and then repair and reinforce the roof so that the new equipment could be safely installed. This seemed like an impossible task as we not only needed to get a roofing company to agree to rearrange their schedules just to come to our property on such short notice, we also needed them to be there at exactly at the time the boiler company finished removing the old equipment and before they began installing the new equipment. The owners Steve and Stephanie were fabulous and in spite of how disruptive accommodating our schedule was going to be to their company, they were incredibly professional and worked with me and the boiler company to be there exactly when they were needed. They listened to us and understood the situation we were in and made it happen. Without them doing what they did our building may have been without hot water (or any water at all) for at least 2 days. They were the true stars in the entire project. Reggie and Francisco (and the rest of the team on site) were very friendly and took the time to explain what they needed to do. The boiler company even made a comment to me about how easy Royal Roofing was to work with! A great experience and a company that definitely understands how to provide the best customer experience. We have also hired Royal to do a total roof repair and resealing within the next few weeks. As President of the HOA, I would not hesitate to recommend Royal Roofing to anyone.

* This morning Royal Roofing (RR) installed a skylight onto my building and this completed our contract. This was part of a 2019 reroofing contract. I've used Royal Roofing a few times over the years for my buildings and they've always done a quality job. I've found that they are not the lowest price nor the highest bid price, but again, they do quality work and they quickly resolve any on-site issues for the mutual benefit of the customer and company. * On the reroofing job, RR staff went over and beyond in completing the job. Especially Royal Roofing's Gilbert, Hector, and Laura. * Gilbert and Hector provided outstanding customer service and was very professional in dealing with a very difficult adjacent property renter. They kept their "cool" and not once did they lose their tempers at him when he blew up in a burst of anger, which was way out of line. They represented the company and customer in the best light and they are an asset to the RR company. I appreciate RR staff's approach to me, the public, and the neighbors. * Laura did the follow-up in ordering a new skylight and coordinating getting it installed. She kept me informed whenever I asked for an update. I appreciate her commitment in following up on this lengthy process and getting this completed. * Part of the success in working with RR is reading the contract, clear communications, and RR staff willing to assist and resolve any unexpected issues. * I had a good experience with RR and will use them again whenever I need roofing work.

WHAT CAN I SAY?! Royal Roofing is a company that DELIVERS, in more ways than one! After securing and reviewing multiple bids for my reroofing needs, it became apparent very quickly that Royal Roofing stood out from the rest. Their quote was clear, fair, detailed, and informative. The roofing crew, lead by Guillermo and Nicholas were true professionals and very pleasant to work with. Not to mention, they completed the job 6 days ahead of schedule! They pride themselves on SPEED, QUALITY, EFFICIENCY, and CUSTOMER SERVICE.....and it's very apparent! Steve, the President, was professional, charismatic, informative and ALWAYS answered my calls and questions with excitement and great detail. I was new to reroofing and can be quite indecisive at times, but Steve made it a point to be patient and educate me on the ins and outs of reroofing. Steve was even willing to support me during a reroofing disagreement with my HOA about allowable reroofing product materials, which I appreciated......TALK ABOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I truly appreciated the daily reroofing progress updates (accompanied by clear drone footage and pictures) provided by Steve and Guillermo. The days were filled with laughs and smiles and you can tell the crew really enjoys what they do! Royal Roofing had just completed my roof job, and, the roof looks Spectacular!!!!! Royal Roofing went above and beyond the call of duty!! *HONESTY. This company is an honest company. The amount of plywood and facia that they had charged us, had match with what they had left on top of the roof. *QUALITY. The roofing materials are high quality, in addition they had done quality work, with the roofing and facia installation. *ACCOMMODATING. They worked with us in, getting the specific color that we had wanted for our roof, and they are allowing us to finish with a remodel of a bedroom, in order for us to get our final roofing inspection. *TIME. Royal Roofing had completed the roofing installation within 2 weeks! *Clean Up. Everyday, Royal Roofing employees would cleanup the entire job site. This was great, because at the end of the day, they never had left a mess. I was worried that the roofing paper or the shingles would be scattered throughout the property. Or worst, I was worried that the nails from the stripping of the old roof would puncture our tires, or possibly my neighbors tires. Ultimately, Royal Roofing takes pride in their work and on how they treat their customers property. I'll definitely, will be using Royal Roofing again!

They were an amazing ROOFERS that took care of EVERYTHING for us even during the crazy CRAZY rainfall we had experienced during the 21 days process! They CLEANED-UP EVERYDAY. Not a speck of nails, debris, or any roofing materials was left around my property. Now that's what I call service! We had a situation and the owner solved it for us IMMEDIATELY and went above and beyond to keep this customer happy, satisfied and at peace ‍. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend these roofers for my future projects and yours too!! The owner, Steve Pinkus (in person) and his wife Stephanie (over the phone) are just wonderful and compassionate ppl that you ever met. I've bonded with them due to special circumstances. (Thank you BOTH!!) His foreman, Guillermo is second to none . I can understand why he's worked for Steve for over 17 yrs. They become your second family. They were both attentive, careful, and extremely patience. They calmed my nerves each time I had to text them countless of times!!! That was many many times. Actual customer. I hired Royal Roofing to completely replace our home's roof back in 2017. The crew that worked on the roof was professional, on time, and did a great job. The foreman on our project was Guillermo, who still works there. It took about 1.5 weeks of work with a full crew working each day to complete the re-roof. Previously, Royal Roofing had been the roofer on small repair jobs on leaks we had needed over the years at the house but decided to give them the whole roof to do since we were familiar with them. When re-roofing they used modern roofing materials and were excellent at communicating any work order changes needed as needed - for example replacing additional tiles. Recently (in late September 2024) during some needed maintenance, I met the owner, Steve, who personally supervised his employee's work on top of the roof for some work being done that was unrelated to the re-roof in 2017. I found the owner to be a roofing expert and he makes it a point to use the latest, greatest, and longest-lasting roofing materials. He cares about doing the job right, roofing in general, and making clients happy. Would recommend.

About 5 years ago we had the need for roofing. We collected a number of estimates and talked with those who would be doing the work for us. After some process on our part, we selected Royal Roofing. After getting acquainted with Steve, the owner, and his exceptional crew, we were even more convinced that we had made the right choice. They were all great to work with. Unfortunately, if you live any where around the canyons and hills of Orange, you'll know that it was a very windy year, not to mention the previous major winds we've had over the 5 years since roofing. Well, with all the windy weather we had during that time, a small portion of the corner of the roof begin to lift up. We gave Royal Roofing a quick call for help and even though the damage may not have been covered with the original warranty on the tiles, Steve got right on it. Before we knew it, the roof was fixed. He really stands behind his responsive office employees, his friendly and hard-working crew, and so do we! Thanks, Steve, for a job well done!

My home had a leak due to the recent rain a few weeks ago. I contacted the Royal Roofing company and was able to schedule for next day service. Rudy was the technician who came to assess my home. Rudy came earlier than scheduled and assessed the leak. He was thorough with his assessment, knowledgeable and professional. He was able to find the leak after a few tests in different areas of my home, which turned out to be water running down from the side of my home into the wall. Luckily, it was not from the roof itself. He was able to seal it with Henry (repair roof sealant). Rudy did not charge me for his service. We were taken aback by his kindness. There are many companies out there who would have taken advantage of the situation with false truths, but Rudy did not. He was honest and kind. I want to thank Rudy and Royal Roofing Company for their exceptional service, promptness, honesty and professionalism. I will definitely be contacting them again in the future. Thank you!

We were under a time constraint to get a new roof and contacted Royal Roofing. Johnny Bravo came out and met with us and addressed our needs and concerns regarding the roof for the house and garage which has a flat roof. They came out the next Monday and began the process of removing our existing roof, making any necessary repairs and installing the new roof. Since we have a flat roof on the garage and water just sits for weeks after a good rain, they re-sloped the flat roof which allowed the water to drain off the garage roof as it should. Juan who is the foremen was very approachable and addressed any questions/issues we had. Chantel also was very polite and handled any needs regarding receiving the quotes. They were extremely punctual and always Juan had an adequate crew who were very friendly and worked expeditiously to get the job done in a timely matter and always left the job site clean. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

This review is way to long in coming..My bldg is a combo of 80% hotmop and the rest tile. Royal was the 6th and last Co. I got a bid from. Other Co.'s tried to sell me on all kinds of "newer" types of roofing. The price from a few was so outrageous I couldn't believe I heard them right. Royal told me what had to be done when they came to look which is exactly what I wanted. The price was within the range I felt was fair/right. They did the job. This was in Sept of 2018. We've had some heavy rain since. There were a couple of very minor fixits which they immediately came back out for and fixed. My bldg was built in 1930 and I believe has alot more to deal w/in hotmop area than newer roofs. It's now 2021 and when I hear it's going to rain I don't stress about leaking etc. Couldn't be happier w/their work, with Reggie, Guillermo (foreman) and crew. Definitely recommend this Company...

My roof of about 1500 square feet was removed and replaced within a business week. My roof had 2 layers previously, yet they still made short work of it. Steve and Francisco (Jr) were very attentive and helpful throughout the entire process and were very good at following up with me daily. They did not try to high ball me or charge me for things I may not have needed. During the repairs, the fuses to my AC unit blew out due to running two air compressors at a time, but they were quick to get replacement fuses themselves and repair the unit. As with any roof repair, there was a lot of trash and debris, but the team did a good job cleaning, sweeping, and throwing everything away. I'd recommend Royal Roofing again to anyone looking for roof repairs done well. Special shout out to the foreman Guillermo who had to deal with my requests, questions, and general lack of knowledge about roofing.

Three years ago Royal Roofing replaced the felt and reinstalled the tiles on my tile roof. The following spring there were heavy rains and a leak in one area over a patio, which did not recur in subsequent rains. As the work was guaranteed for 10 years, I decided to follow up despite apprehension about how my call would be received due to the time lapse. The receptionist was quite courteous. I was given advance notice that there would be a fee if the leak was not due to a fault in the roof (air conditioners were cited as a common cause of leaks). I decided to proceed and an appointment was made for the following morning. Francisco Bravo, service manager, arrived on time with an assistant and equipment. He made a minor repair. I was impressed with the courtesy, nondefensive attitude, and quick response. I believe this company honors their commitments to their customers.

Royal Roofing had replaced the roof on our garage a few years ago so when a new roof was needed for the house, there was no other roofer I would call. Royal Roofing's crew were punctual, professional and they finished the entire job within the time frame quoted. We have a 1929 Spanish Colonial with a tile roof. The crew took great care not to damage the existing tiles and by using most of them saved us the expense of replacing all of them. They cleaned up the debris every night and left our yard in pristine condition when they completed the job. Did I mention that the cost came in below what I had initially anticipated? I feel quite confident that I will not have to replace the roof in my lifetime, but I enthusiastically recommend Royal Roofing for anyone who needs to replace their roof.

Royal Roofing recently replaced a roughly 4,000 SF commercial roof for us and they did a very thorough job. They worked in a heat wave day in and day out, and the job took longer than they expected, but they stuck with it and did a great job. The salespeople, foreman and workers were friendly and helpful. They cleaned our skylights thoroughly, they addressed any issues or questions along the way immediately. After completion, when there was a minor issue with some of the HVAC units, they came back right away without question to remedy the minor issue. The new roof got a major test with tropical storm Hilary, which occurred abut one week after the roof was complete. No leaks!

Royal Roofing replaced our roof 20 years ago with never a leak or a loose tile. Three years ago a neighbor's pine tree fell crushed part of our garage and roof. Our insurance company arranged a contractor to reroof and they did a horrible, incompetent job. The first bad winds knocked off many ridge tiles and we could not get them to repair as it was just after the warranty expired. I spoke with Royal Roofing to see what they could do to fix as I was willing to pay to have the issues fixed. Steve Pinkus was upfront in identifying all the negligence from the other company. Wrong materials and too short nails were used. Reroof now completed by Royal, quickly and effectively.

Royal Roofing and its owner, Steve Pinkus, are amazing! I stupidly hired a different roofing company and had a real issue with the roofing that the company was trying to cover up and repair improperly. Steve Pinkus, without charge, took the time to listen to the problem, review photos, and provide expert advise on the way the issue should be remedied. With Steve's help, the roofing company I had hired finally agreed to fix the roof the correct way. In the future, I will only hire Royal Roofing for any roofing needs. I will also refer Royal Roofing to others I know who have been disappointed in roofers they have hired. I can't thank Royal Roofing enough.

Our super old roof started to give us issues after the major rains last year. While we got on schedule, Royal Roofing proactively checked in on our roof, and covered it up properly until their team could fix it. It was worth the wait. Steve and his team kept us up to date on the repair, sent us pictures, the work was seamless, and could not be more professional. The roof got done on time (within estimated time frame) and now we are at peace with our home/new roof for the next many years to come. I had a couple of unexpected leaks when my new A/C was installed on my flat roof because the ducts had not been sealed yet and then on the same day a rain storm decided to hit much to my chagrin. Gilbert Hernandez with Royal Roofing was very responsive and came out to access the situation right away because I also had ponding on my roof. In record time and with a full schedule of jobs to be done, he rushed a crew to my house to fix my problems because there was a threat of more rain. I was so grateful. This is truly a testament to service and dependability. They will definitely get future business from me.

This has to be the best roofing company around. I manage multiple properties in Paramount, Ca. The best choice hands down. They gave us a quote that was competitive to and actually better than all the others received. They gave us a color selection that was a perfect choice for our building. The work was completely neat, clean, organized and professional. We were very pleased with the finished product. The city inspectors and tenants gave nothing but compliments to the final outcome. I visited Royal Roofing this week on business. I am a service technician that services this companies copy and fax machines. My contact for this location was Francis Aragon, from the moment I walked into the building Francis provided me with all the problems I needed know in order to do my job proficiently. Just by Francis's attention to detail and attitude I can tell she is a valued employee. In the future if I ever need any roofing done I will definitely give this company a call just by the service I see is provided to their customers.

I just had royal roofing put on a new roof for one of my rentals in Newport Beach. Steve pinkus, the owner, is one of the nicest, most diligent business owners I have ever come across. His crew is loyal to him, he cares about his work, and is one of the busiest guys I know. He will always take the time to go over my concerns, and still able to return phone calls late at night to go over work schedules for the next day. He's an Amazing guy. and now my good friends. You can't go wrong using royal roofing.

I own a Triplex and regrettably hired Royal Roofing Company in 2019. Two of the three roofs leaked after only 3 years. Installed May 2019, first leak was Jan 2022, second leak Nov 2022. The first leak cost me $3500 in water damage. The contractor FORGOT TO SEAL THE ROOF. They begrudgingly 'fixed' the roof by doing an incredibly sloppy tar job. The second leak Cost about 2200 in damage, the contractor showed me a picture of my roof and said, 'You had work done since we installed the roof, you can see here in this picture we don't do pipes like this.' This wasn't backed up by any hard evidence. He kindly said it would cost $4,000 to fix. Kindly, as in my 20 year warranty isn't worth a dime and he knew I couldn't prove him wrong. After all, how do you disprove an outlandish claim of 'we don't work like this,' without any proof. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They do not do good work nor honor their warranties. There are better companies out there.

After waiting for them for 2 plus weeks , They finally came in Saturday morning . After my husband respectfully gave them access to the property, parking, codes for the door and provided access to garage and the apartment , they called us on Sunday to say that if we don’t cover the mattress that was in the neighbors balcony they will stop with installation and leave immediately. They stopped everything and left with no explanation.

1) Here is how you know the roofer is wrong.. 30 tons of roofing materials removed - 60,000 lb. yes Steve your roofers hauled off 60,000 lbs of materials on a commercial strip comprised of 3 small offices totaling less than 4,000 sf. You mentioned it was 20 tons NOW 30 tons? See attach Email. Why keep changing your numbers? Fact #1 2) You said over the phone the drains were covered instead of in the email why? I mean who wants to keep paying when the same company can't fix it? You were the one that said "we are a for profit company, it cost my employees every trip they come out and we don't do anything free". Steve your employee upcharged every chance he could get. He pointed at the paraphet covering saying that was the leak and a $3,000 silicone glue will solve it. We paid, and guess what, it STILL LEAKED! Your roofers came out for free checks.. yes Steve your roofers Pointed at a neighbor property roof that has nothing to do with this! We even had 2 other licensed plumbers say the exact same thing.And every free check claim nothing was fixed and "these claims kept pointing to wrong items". Why would we pay for a company to come back and fix nothing? You do remember that when you don't do the job properly you waste the time of not just your company but mine. I have to be there inspecting and wasting my day. Steve your first chat before anything was resolved was that you pointed I was wrong before you even stepped on our site to look. Lastly, for all the readers out there. During rainy season, Steve gets a lot of calls, on his phone call with me he mentioned he had at least 50+ calls from existing clients. Now Steve, this leads me to believe there are a lot of people who probably have similar issues... Now furthermore, on one of your emails after the roof completion it stated please give a 5 star review we are offering $25 dollar gift cards. How many of your reviews are paid for through gifts? 1 Star and will not change because your information is incorrect.

GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR ROOFING NEEDS Royal Roofing replaced the roof in our 4 unit building back in March, 2015. We spent $30,000.00 and only ended up with a roof worse off and an enormous headache. Two weeks ago it rained heavily through the night and I was woken up by the alarming sound of a steady stream of water hitting the wood floor in my bedroom. The ceiling had been transformed into a huge bubble full of rain water and you can only imagine the layers of insolation and wood the water had to soak through before reaching my room. In other words, it was a bad leak. I didn't immediately assume it was a leak caused by Royal's negligence so I went through the proper steps with Royal to find out where the source of the leak was coming from. We ended up doing an hour long water test with a hose on the top of my building and discovered a gaping hole in the acrylic material used by Royal to water proof and seal off the top of the building. We directed the hoses stream of water to several parts of the roof and concluded together that this was the only spot where we found a steady stream of water making it's way to my bedroom again . The owner of the company, Steve, arrived on scene after the test was done and immediately started to deny responsibility for the hole left in the roof that lead to my incredible headache of a situation. At one point he even started comparing himself to OJ Simpson saying that he's not necessarily responsible for anything...which I found to be an odd and frustrating analogy. The leak resulted in the ceiling needing to be ripped out and re done to fix the water damage. We still aren't able to live at home and it's a disaster. I would not hire this company- I do not believe them to be honest or trustworthy.

I called these guys because they have a website that states all the "great work" they do. I called them to just give my wood shingle roof a "tune up" for the winter. All my roof needed was to replace some of the broken shingles and caulk any area that it needed. I'm pretty handy but I wanted a pro to do it. They came out and gave me $1,100 estimate and he told me what they were going to do. I agreed they came back the next day and finished extremely fast! WOW! I said. So they left and I went on the roof myself and they missed so many tiles and areas that needed attention. With a chalk I circle and marked all the areas they missed. I called the owner and he sent his guy out again. I went on the roof with him and pointed out everything they missed. He took notes and went back to tell the owner that I was so happy with the work they did and I wanted more work. They came out to fix the rest of the work and charged me another $700. I was fuming! I spoke to the owner and nothing was resolved. I don't recommend this company. Don't try to read the lengthy contract they have you sign. Take it to you lawyer before hiring them! Steve, this is not a compliment it's a complaint!! You should focus more on your employees price gauging and up selling customers than trying to sugar coat Yelp bad reviews. When we spoke you said you couldn't do anything about the issue because your estimator "had a family and kids". I didn't ask you to fire him, just remember who keeps your business doors open! Not your employees, it's the hard working paying customers. Steve, for the record, it was YOUR company that I had this issue with; not another company with a similar name. I spoke directly with you.

Terrible experience with Royal Roofing.com Company, at 6831 Suva St. CA 90201. I found this company from Apartment Management Magazine, and Apartment Owners Association news and buyers guide. There is 10% off coupon inside. I got Quot & Contract with "5% off if signed on or by 9/22/2017" "10% off if signed on or by 10/17/2017" from Gilberto Hernandez. I was confused with this statement and Other issue . So I sent 2 questions to the company by email on 9/15(Friday). No answer, sent again on 9/18 (Monday). Still no answer, so I called on 9/19. The lady said she can't answer my questions and she would have Gilberto or Francis call me back. No call back, I had to call again on 9/21. This time the lady found another lady who can answer my questions. The new lady opened the quot, and told me that she think Gilberto made mistake to switch the dates. She said if I signed by tomorrow I could get 10% off. So I signed the contract and sent to Francis on 9/21. Because my experiment with Francis that she never answer my email, I called on 9/22 to make sure they received my email. Her answer is she accidentally deleted the email, so I sent again and until she said she received. When the workers started the job and gave me the invoice which had 0% off. I called Gilberto and he told me 10/17/2017 is typo and he couldn't give me 10% off, and he don't take 10% off coupon from magazine. I am still waiting the final invoice from them even I sent text message to Gilberto and email to Francis to ask invoice and told them my mailing address 2 weeks ago. I will post how they cheat on replace plywoods when they re-roof my apartment in the near future.

I owned a 10 Unit Apartment Unit in Glendale and ROYAL Roofing did the complete re-roofing of this building year 2009. And just after first rain after that year the roof started to leak and causes a lot damages to some of the units. I called Royal Roof Office and they promptly came make some patching and fixing. I was told that will not leak anymore. But after few months when we had the rain it leak again and the same thing happened. The interior of the building and inside were again damaged and I was told they are not responsible the damages. I spend lots money for repair and not to mention the calls and disturbance to the tenants. Roof leak for landlord is a terrible and stressful experience but there no way or means to know if your roof will leak until when it rains. It becomes a normal thing for me to call Royal roofing every year when we have rain. And when come they will find reasons to justify that the cause of the leak, one time they blamed the AC Unit platform so we got it replace but leak never been fix. Until at this last rain (Feb 2021) they are repairing the roof. Royal roofing refuse to reroof the building at their cost. To make story shorts Royal Roofing still coming to my building until at this time February. One time I went up to the roof with the owner Steve Pinkus and I found out the electrical conduit coming from the main panel were left hanging and were not bolted back by his crew. Thank GOD it didn't cause fire. I already filed a complaint with Contractor State License Board pending resolution and my next step is to file a lawsuit. My bad experience with Royal Roofing will not fit on this review . .

Caution: Hazardous, Severe Toxic Damage and Poor Service by Royal Roofing. Two years ago Royal Roofing was hired to work on our apartment complex's roof. Unfortunately, the outcome was disastrous. Not only was the roofing job below par, I left a horrific mess, including our entire family, and Pets and children have been sick often on ever since. This resulted in extensive damage to the interiors of our apartments, affecting personal belongings, furniture, electronics, paint, and floors. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this amicably, the response from Royal Roofing has been awful. They have had to come back at least eight times to assess the problem. Believe it or not the roof is still leaking now. There way of fixing. The problem is to put plastic on the roof we are absolutely disgusted with the service, and the way I was treated by the owner was not only condescending, but very misogynistic. We are tired of Royal Roofing ruining our home, as well as the home of two other tenants This experience has not only been financially draining but emotionally taxing as well. Attached/Included are photos evidencing the extent of the damages. This situation could have been avoided with professional care and attention to detail, which was starkly absent in their service. I write this review to warn others to reconsider before engaging Royal Roofingfor any service. It's crucial to protect your property and peace of mind by choosing a company with a proven track record of quality service and customer satisfaction. I hope sharing our experience helps prevent others from enduring the same ordeal.

Our realtor recommended Royal Roofing for our inspections. This is not our first home and we are familiar with inspections. We had a strict 1-2pm appt time with seller We had a plumber, foundation specialist and roofer inspector ( royal roofing ) come after the general inspector that day. They were all on time and all had reports done for me that evening all except for.... Royal Roofing... Royal roofing showed up to the 1pm appt at 1:45pm We reminded them we needed the reports by next morning at the latests, something we mentioned before we even made an appt with them. We were on a tight deadline with this home. That all happened on a Friday. They stated we'd have a detailed report that evening. Friday evening- nothing Saturday- nothing Sunday- Nothing Monday - got a text back finally from the owner saying he was driving to office and we'd have full report by 10:30am... 10:30am.....Nothing Monday afternoon nothing... It was almost time for our contingencies to be removed before we heard from them with a report and WITH the wrong address on it. Eventually they got it right... Their lack of communication caused unnecessary stress and we lost precious time. The only thing they were not late on was cashing my check. Would not use again.

I called two weeks ago for a roof quote, the lady told me the earliest appointment would be 2 weeks later. OK I will wait. We set up 9 - 10 am Monday. She told me that they will call to confirm the appointment a day before. Well, I never received that call or a message about the confirmation. So, I called them on appointment day (Monday) at 8:30 am wanting to know if anyone is coming and I should wait or not. They open at 7 am. The call center answered my call and told me someone from Roayl would call me asap. No one called. I called again 9:15 am, someone from Royal answered. I told him that I did not receive the confirmation call and wasn't sure if someone would be coming. He said they actually do not call a day before, also he did not have the schedule information and wanted me to call later. I called the third time at 9:35 am, the lady told me that they were having scheduling problems and did not know if someone would be able to come - and NO apology at all. I figured if a company handles their business this way, they can't be a good company that I can rely on. I took time off work for them and their answer was ' NOT SURE THEY COULD COME'. I gave up on them. If you don't want to waste you time, stay away from them.

I used them over the span of several years, on two jobs. On one job, I got a 20 year warranty. Rain started leaking through after 10 or 11 years. Steven Pinkus said yes, I DO have a 20 year warranty, and now you have to pay because you didn't do follow up upkeep on the roof. I don't know why 20 does not equal 20---I got the maximum, BEST warranty I could, so that I would NOT have these problems. Then they did another roof for me (makes, sense, they are a roofing company)--- and the location and design and layout for the downspouts were ugly, misplaced, and... SHORT!! they ended at the side of the building, ON the stucco--so the water would have drained on to the stucco. Not end a few inches past the building--but a few inches short---so the building and stucco would be hit by the water!!! Not OK. Oh---and Steve and I once had a phone conversation where he said that he was ON the roof, looking at the problems (I wasn't home)---and he said he would send me the pictures of what he found. The pictures never arrived. Was he at the job site? I don't know...but no pictures, no evidence, no resolution. Two different properties. I'd think a 20 year warranty would last more than 10 years. Wouldn't you??

Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with a company. I met this company while I was at an AOA conference and filled out their forms for a quote. They called me and I scheduled time for them to go out. They said they would go out the same week & email me the quote afterwards. It's been WEEKS since then and I've followed up at LEAST 4X or more at this point and with each time they say they'll give me the quote within the next day. They ask for my name/phone number/email address EVERY SINGLE time I call. Sometimes when I call it's the answering team after hours and those guys are the absolute worst. One of the reps I spoke to was so rude & seemed like he hated his job as an after hour team member. The reps during normal business hours are fine besides the fact that there is absolutely zero follow up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you're looking for someone professional and reliable because they will not follow up. Crazy because when I first spoke with them, they went on about how they've been in business for so long and how they're so reliable and like a family etc etc. Don't waste your time getting a quote with them, even if they started out calling you!

Called for a quote they said they would schedule an appt a month out. No one ever came. The lady spoke to had a tone on her. Their customer service is horrible. @Steve, I am confused about the source of your information and what you define as a fit. When I spoke with your receptionist, I simply clarified that I was not seeking warranty service for the roof we originally purchased from your company. Instead, I was requesting a new estimate since our warranty had expired. I understood that it was the rainy season and that you might not have immediate availability. If your company was not interested in our business, a simple explanation would have sufficed, rather than providing a tentative date and not following through. I realize the importance of supporting your employees and your business's reputation, but I am just sharing my perspective on the situation. I apologize if you do not agree, but based on the notes, I feel they are not accurately reflecting the situation. In my view, asking for a specific date is not throwing a fit; it is simply seeking clarity and understanding.

I don't have a say about the quality or price of their job. My business were not important to Royal Roofing. My first call was in the end of December/2016, the costumer service got my info and said that would call me later. In the second week of January I called back to find out about the appointment. The atendente could not find my info, so he asked again and said for me to expect for a phone call. Two weeks later, I called again and I was said that the next appointment available would be for February 8th. The estimador never show up. I called Royal roofing and after wait for 10minutes, the costumer service girl said the estimator was caught up in another appointment and that he would no make it today. The next appointment would be for the following week. I told the girl to remove my company's name from Royal Roof list, because clearly my business was not important to them. She said ok. Really? The estimator or the office shown no regards.

I'm rating this company low on customer service. I called and talked to the owner, Reggie, on 1/11/17, and he made an appt to come out to my house on 1/12 to check out my roof. I informed him that I had a leak, with a bucket containing it. My appt was for 9 a.m. I waited nearly two hours and decided to call the office to check his status. The person who answered the phone placed me on hold to find out his estimated arrival. When she returned to the phone, she told me that Reggie was tied up at another job and couldn't make it to my house at all. She rescheduled with me for 1/17! I understand that schedules change, but please understand the basics of customer service and call to cancel with me. It was ridiculous to leave me hanging when I could have gone to work. I sent Reggie a text letting him know how disappointed I was in being stood up and he didn't even bother to apologize. So I decided to go with another company.

I'm extremely upset that this company came to my house and apartments and not only destroyed the cable dishes on the roofs of multiple renter's witch now had not services but also destroyed the cameras we had around the apartments and the front house. How can this company think thats ok? They should respect and take care of small things that are important yet did not care. I saw nothing professional about this company and the crew they brought honestly half the time the crew was pretending to get hurt or fall of the roof after throwing stuff down that made loud a noise. Yelling and acting like someone fell off the roof. I do not find that funny or professional and its honestly upsetting not only to me but to the people who rent and live next door. If your thinking of going with this company I would re think your decision because they play around to much and are totally unprofessional.

Do not hire this company. We had our roof replaced a couple of months ago because it was time. We hadn't had any issue with the old roof, but it was old and needed replacing before it failed. Royal Roofing took a month to complete the job, then as soon as the first rain came, it leaked!!! Water poured in on the top floor, ruining everything in its path. The company owners are whining about it not being their fault and refusing to pay for damages. Damages caused by their shoddy work! Save yourself money, time, and irreplaceable belongings, and go with someone else. Update: Without knowing who I am, this company insisted that it wasn't them who destroyed our property and threatened a lawsuit! It was definitely Steve on the phone who refused to admit his company's mistake and its him now who is talking out of his ass. Terrible customer service and it speaks for itself.

I got a nail on one of my tires because their employees don't clean up the driveway I text messages my landlord that I spend money to repair it he told me the workers want to speak to me one of the employees said he was in charged he was super rude he called me a liar and was only trying to get money from my tire that had a nail he told me not to clean the drive way it's not my job but I live there I do it because there is allot of nails on the floor I got pictures to prove it the workers don't watch out for any tenants passing by one of my neighbors told me she was walking to her apartment and allot of debris fell to the ground almost hitting her and those guys almost all of them don't speak English so you can't tell them to be more careful and to watch out for tenants I want to speak to some one and make a complaint

I paid for repairs of a leaking roof during the winter months. The cost for a flat portion and roof tune-up was $7,500. I expected the leak to be repaired. However, the first rain came and it continue to leak on my tenant items in the garage. When I called the sale rep he shared he could look at it next week. I was very upset. They took my money and acted like I had to wait. It was clear to me their work was poor since they never resolved the leak in the first place and they could care less that it was still leaking making me wait. Do not use this roofing company if you have issues. Also, they clearly overcharge and very expensive. My contractor recommended them and I updated him on their work and work ethics.

I purchased my home 4 years ago. 2 months prior to the purchase the seller had the roof replaced by Royal. I received a copy of the contract upon purchase of the home. Since that time I've had three roof leaks in separate areas of the roof. The most recent leak came about today. I called after the the first leak a few years ago and was advised in order for them to repair their bad work I would have to pay some ridiculous amount to transfer the roof warranty. I would stay away from these people. They don't even back up their own work. Some service they provide. I've had contractors come out and to do other work and tell me the materials they used are outdated already. Only giving 1 star since I have to.

The people who are giving this company a 5 star are either family members or are getting paid for their review. One of their workers came out and replaced my garage roof. Later found that it did not drain, water leaked and damaged the ceiling and wall. The owner Steve Pinkus said the company was not responsible because that worker didn't work for him any longer. The worker had apparent authority, and left me with a contract. Mr Pinkus refused to accept responsibility and would not fix the problem unless I paid him again. I will be complaining to the Better Business Bureau and Small Claims if necessary. Don't use this company. YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We had them replace our roof about 15 years ago, we have 4 roofs in our condo complex. They were recommended by their son who lived in the complex, once it was done, his son sold and moved away. They added additions to the quote we agreed to which cost us more and more $$$$$$$$$$$. Through the years, we have had leaks on all the roofs, we kept having them patched. Recently we had a reputable come check out the roof and they discovered that with our roof and a second roof, they removed the drains when the roof was replaced and did not re-connect them all the way, which caused a slow leak over the years.

We had our flat roof replaced and paid so much money. It took them over a week. There were a couple loose tiles on the slanted part of the roof and I asked if they could be replaced. The supervisor on the job site said sure no problem. After they left I noticed they didn't do it. I called the person who was in charge and they said it wasn't in the contract so they didn't do it. $15,000 plus, and they couldn't replace 3 tiles??? Forget these guys. Go elsewhere. I wish I did. Not I have big water leaks from the location where the three tiles are broke.

Left message on his phone to take a look my property for a quote. He said he would come out to take a look at the roof, but he never did. He did not even call to let you know that he might not be interested. Talked to him again, he said he will come. Again disappointed. How could you trust the owner that does not keep his words. But, on the bright side I have to say thanks you. Because of you, I went searching for another company whose owner keeps kept their words. They do what they say. Their work is great.

I called this company out to check my roof leak I had to call them many times till they finally went out to give me an estimate. Not only did they quote me three times the amount as I checked with two other companies they were the only one that would not warranty there work. So they just expect you to give them thousands of dollars and to bad so sad if your roof still leaks. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are just not honest!!!
