Wonderful install. Terrible followup service for a whistling, knocking A/C unit. UPDATE: What a difference a day makes. First service call went well even though it didn't fix the problem. Second service call didn't go very well, the guy didn't give his name, just said, I'm from Stay Cool. I told him where the unit was, then he proceeded to the A/C with a box I assumed was the filter. Guess what? The filter wasn't changed and he left the box in the middle of the floor and left. I didn't even know he had left until I came out of the kitchen and went to look for him. But that's not the kicker. The kicker is, the issue of the whistling, knocking A/C unit is still whistling and knocking, and the company is lacking in fixing the issue. They set up another appt and didn't show up. No call either. My son called an another appt was set. He took off work to be present for the repair. The technician told him the fan was loose (he tightened the screws) and the unit was not aligned, but on the paper work, he said the issue was taken care of. If it's taken care of, why is it still whistling( the initial issue) and not cooling as it should be. During the cold spell we had, it wouldn't warm up the house either. I am not pleased with the service from this company. They sold me a product, but so far, standing by the product, SMH, they have been laying down on the job.

Be careful when dealing with this company. A lot of promises are made initially prior to getting paid and then after the fact everything was left half done. It's been less then 3 years but it's been problematic since before the first year passed by. After them tell me the units would be covered for X amount of years, then they came to evaluate the ongoing issues and of course they owe me a service, overdue and one part that broke is COVERED UNDER WARRANTY but unfortunately then they tell us that in order to fix the issue that's obviously a defect, they probably have us used parts nothing looked new about it new unit costing over 6/7k. We would need 6 lbs. Of a fluid that would cost close to 1,500. Save yourselves and deal with a company that stands behind the simple etiquette of finishing a job properly. The Nest device seems to have been an open box of some sort has been defective since the beginning. A free cleaning of the air ducts was included but they seemed to have what seemed like valid excuses but really just procrastination. Not the mention the finance company they suggest you use are the worst. I feel sorry for people with bad credit if I'm OVERPAYING with having perfect credit. The unit out in the back yard has always made thumping banging noise like somethings been loose. These days the noise is really bad.

Austin was sent out and at my residence and got the a/c working within 35 minutes. Not sure why so costly though. Then it stopped working within 2 weeks. Reached out to Austin to come back yet with an appointment set yet when finally saying that he was on his way he doesn't show up or even call after an hour. Finding out he was sent to another job instead yet we arrange that he WILL come out to my residence once done with that job yet a late hour. I reach him per text and tells me he can't make it. Then tells he's leaving for a week. It just snowballs from there so in the process of filing complaint. No one likes being ripped off.. Extremely poor communicates and not reliable. I asked for my money back yet got no response. Not cool to RIP off the elderly and take advantage. Poor business ethics! Then this other guy from this business calls me tries pushing me into buying a new unit after a ridiculous quote for another part. Hell no... I got the job done right by an HVAC rep at the cost it should have been the first time!! Sadly the A/C company that I had for over 16 years while living in Weston retired. But I now found an honest A/C company and it's not Stay Cool.

Never again! I made the mistake of giving this company a second chance. I just had a technician tell me I had NO option but to replace my 5 yr old HVAC system with a new $6000.00 system. He had no idea how to repair my AC. I called another company who had the knowledge and expertise to fix my problem. They also checked online and found that I had 5 yrs left on my warranty. That covered the parts that needed to be replaced. I saved $5000.00. From inexperienced technicians to bad customer service I would not recommend this company. I'm sure they'll keep the money I paid them for the maintenance plan. Lesson learned, good riddance. Elie he was NOT here to quote for a new system and you know it. It was a 6 month maintenance check up. I never mentioned my system was having issues until he arrived. He lied and said repair wasn't an option, only replacement. I asked several times. Nice try. I have a reliable company now I will not be calling you again. Beware folks.

To a past good review to now a terrible review. The company the first 1-2x I used them were great but then they convinced me for a yearly membership, the first time they came during g the membership they only checked 1 AC and tried charging a fee for coming, what was the membership for? When I complained they waived which I appreciated but there was 2 different times my AC stopped working after business hours and no body answered my calls/texts when asking for emergency help. I had to use a different company who was more reliable and better priced.

Scammers – Do Not Hire Eli! This company is a scam. Eli took the money and never finished the job. What he did was sloppy and already breaking down. Every time we called, he gave some lame excuse, then eventually stopped responding completely. He straight-up stole the money and disappeared. This is not just bad service — it’s theft. Stay far away from these people!

Scheduled an appointment with this company last week and they never even showed up for the estimate. No call no text no anything. I sat around for 2 hours waiting for them to show up. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Not reliable.

Worst Experience Ever - Do Not Recommend On Friday, September 12th, I contacted Paradise Plumbing, Air & Electric regarding a leak coming from my ceiling. They scheduled me promptly with a technician, Fernando B., for the next day. Fernando did a great job diagnosing the issue and informed me that I needed new ductwork throughout my home. He assured me that he had scheduled an appointment for Monday, September 15th, with "Mike," who was supposedly the best person to take proper measurements and provide a detailed quote. When Monday came, no one showed up. I called the office and was told they had no record of the appointment. They then offered to send someone else, but because I had a doctor's appointment that day, I rescheduled for Tuesday with the original "Mike." On Tuesday, a completely different person, Fernando D., showed up, spent less than five minutes in my home, and then left. About an hour later, I received a quote from him. My wife and I agreed to the quote and immediately paid half the cost upfront. We were told that the installation crew would arrive Thursday, September 18th, and finish by Friday, September 19th. Both my wife and I took time off work to accommodate this. When the crew (Daniel N. and two others) arrived Thursday, they were already upset, complaining that they had to do their work plus the work Fernando D. had failed to complete. They also said they had no materials with them. After only 15 minutes in the attic, they went outside. Sensing something was wrong, I used my phone's camera app to listen in. What I heard was extremely unprofessional and frankly insulting. Among their comments: "I don't want to do this. I told the company I only want to do new installs, not this." "They look like they have money. Look at all the tools in the garage, and it looks like his wife works from home. I know they have money, they need to pay more." "It looks like they don't have kids too." "This company is messed up. They used to pay hourly but changed it before I got here. They need to pay us more." Shocked, I called the company immediately. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, they told me they would "talk to the crew," but then informed me my price would be raised by $2,500 because Fernando D. had not given me an accurate quote. When I asked if they would at least honor the original price or meet me halfway, I was told the owner would not help in any way, other than offering me "credit for another job." At that point, I demanded a full refund. This entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and offensive. Not only was my time wasted and my trust violated, but the company attempted to take advantage of me financially after I had already paid a large deposit. My wife and I are extremely disappointed and saddened by their total lack of accountability. We will never do business with Paradise Plumbing, Air & Electric again, and I strongly caution others against doing so.

My AC isn't working. It's 83 degrees in the house and everyone's uncomfortable. And Paradise didn't show for their appointment today. Our AC went out Friday afternoon. I called up Paradise, who has been my primary go to for AC and plumbing jobs over the past few years. They told me they didn't have any regular appointments but they could schedule me for after hours service for an additional fee, which I agreed to. The appointment was made for 6 to 10pm and I had a card on file, so everything was set. We actually had plans to meet family, but we canceled in order to meet the technician. So we waited and waited and nobody showed or contacted us. We reached out to them twice. The first time we called were told that they didn't have an ETA because it was after hours, but not to worry because the technician was going to arrive. Then when we got closer to 10pm, we called and were told that the appointment was accidentally not given to the technician and it got "lost in outer space". They also said the technician would not come out, despite our appointment and them having a same day service guarantee and offering 24/7 service on their website. At 10pm, after acknowledging their screw up, they're basically like "see ya, good luck sweating it out". What happened to the same day service guarantee and the 24/7 service? What's really most irritating as I sit in my super hot and humid house is; thinking about all of the companies I bypassed in order to go with Paradise. My AC could have easily been up and running had I called someone else, and there are plenty of quality companies to choose from. Company loyalty got me this time but it won't get me again. I also want to add that Paradise also rubbed me the wrong way on my last appointment. They charged me over $400 to flush a drain line which is completely unreasonable. Also, I recently got a few quotes to replace ductwork and their price was the highest, by far, compared to all other providers. Anyway, I absolutely do not recommend Paradise any longer. I don't know if there has been an ownership change or what, but the service is not what it used to be and the pricing is really high. You can easily find a different reputable company to service your AC. I plan to.

Bought a condo in South Florida and having it renovated. The AC quit working when I got back to town on the weekend. Called Paradise Monday since they are already on file with the HOA of the condo and high rating on Yelp. The lady answered the phone was very nice and made an appointment for Monday afternoon. The technician showed up on time, checked the AC and said there was nothing wrong. He reset the unit, got it running, and left. Everything seemed to be perfect till Wednesday when I went back to check the condo, the AC quit working again. Called Paradise and they sent the same technician back Thursday morning. He checked it again and said the motor went out and had to be replaced, it would cost me close to 2000 dollars to replace the motor and several other parts along with it. He then said it wouldn't be a good idea to put that much money into a 15 year old unit and I'd better off have a new AC which would be 6700 dollars. The office sent me the proposal in minutes and called me immediately to make sure I got it. The owner called later and went through all the details and told me I need to make up my mind quickly since there were only hand full of units available in south Florida and if I wait to long I may not get one and it could be a long time because of the COVID. But he did find out that the technician made a mistake, the unit is 7 years old instead of 15, and it would still cost me close to 1300 dollars to fix the motor and I am still better off getting a new unit. I called another company to have a second look of the AC. The technician came late Thursday afternoon and found a malfunctioning capacitor was causing the problem. It costed me 135 dollars to replace the capacitor and the unit has been working fine ever since. Friday morning, I got a call from Paradise to follow up with the proposal. I told them it had been fixed by another company and told them what was wrong with it. She said she was glad that I had it fixed and she would make a note that I did not need a new unit. Didn't show any interest to know why their technician was there twice and was not able to diagnose the simple problem. Of course, I haven't heard from the owner either. Lee

We have used Paradise Plumbing since 2009. We bought our home in Weston and Paradise did all the plumbing redoing all 2 of our three bathrooms and partly on the master. Since then for every plumbing need we have used them....17 years. Well in February we needed or at least I was told we needed to replace our 8 year old tankless water heater which Paradise provided and installed. We did this at a cost of 3000 dollars which I thought was high but agreed to it anyway due to my trust in Paradise. Last month May 2026, we noticed the water was not getting that hot. We called Paradise and the plumber who was the one who installed the new tankless heater in February for 3k came out. After fiddling around for 3 hours, he told me the problem was in our main shower and he would need to demo the shower in order to locate the problem. He told us we needed a new fixture and he would get back to me with the cost. Before he left that day one thing he did in this shower was open the main valve and he closed the hot water in the fixture valve. This returned the water to hot. He called me a few days later with a quote of $5500. I found this outrageous and even if not, when I am spending this much money, I want a second opinion. I called Air Around The Clock who services our AC and is now doing plumbing. Their guy came out and all that was needed was a new valve. The entire problem was solved for $350. I called Paradise and voiced a complaint. I was told I would get a call back from the managerand after 2 weeks crickets. No idea what has happened to Paradise but they are not a business I want to deal with any longer. It seems they are out to get the consumer with unscrupulous practices. As a long time trusting customer, I feel 100% betrayed. I waited for 2 weeks before writing this review trying to give them a chance to call me back which I now know they have zero intentions of doing. Beware of Paradise. I was a trusting 17 year customer and look what they tried to do to me. Shame on you Paradise.

I had Paradise Plumbing give me a quote to replace my shower unit components: shower head nozzle, controller, etc. They quoted me $319 per hour per person! Just for Labor !! I bought all the components myself. I obviously didn't hire them. So, after I posted the above on 5/31/23 I have had two calls from Matthew Rich the owner. I'm at a Doctors office and I'm not taking calls as I find it rude to the other patients. So I emailed Mr. Rich my response to his first voice mail. To which he calls me again from another number: his VM which I have saved says: We need to speak to me man to man, etc. (Nice innuendo, stating I'm not a man because I can't take his call immediately) Then he denies his labor rate is $319 per hour. Sorry, I have his estimator in my house telling me the job would be at least $1500+ and when I pushed back with- Why? His estimator stated: we bill $319 per hour for repair jobs per person. Less than that for new construction. Companies like this tell you even for a basic job, a flat rate is safest for you the customer! That is nonsense ! $1600 for a 3 hour job? If they took more than 3 hours they should fire their plumber. Now this is recorded on my ring camera system. I have been in the trades since 1978, I own a development company, rehabbed hundreds of units, built hundreds of new units - houses & apartments. Currently I have close to 100 units in production or approved to be built in New England. My wife has a lawyer on staff at $200 an hour. $319 for a plumber ? On what planet ? In my opinion, I would look elsewhere. Awful. When this company was hired to fix a plumbing issue that we had, I thought it would be one guy comes in, sees what's wrong and takes care of every little detail that might affect the issue. I thought it would be a diligent, thorough, knowledgeable and professional plumbing expert. I was wrong. I had about 7 different "plumbers" come in within a span of 7 days. Each one would do below the bare minimum, IGNORING all the shoddy work that the previous "plumber" from their company did, and all while not addressing the issue. Now you may ask yourself "what the hell does she know about plumbing and how does she know what they were doing was shoddy work?". I can tell you that I am not a plumber but the "work" they did was such a blatant piece of shit that even I noticed. For one, one of the contractors had sawed right through one of the pipes, big enough that a bottle cap could comfortably be placed in there. Did anyone of these "plumbers" replace that pipe when they saw it? NO. It took day 7 and "plumber" number 7 to fix it. They also gave us a window span of when they'll be here (would always show up hours late) and would get here AN HOUR before the end of their shift so they can do the least amount of work and run out. This happened a few times. Then there was one guy who KNEW he fucked up the hot water route and left us with only COLD WATER and didn't tell us anything about it. Another guy messed up the pressure of the water. If you're concerned about staying in budget, do not hire these expert thieves because they will drag out the work to collect more and more money. I've seen people do shit work before, but this... was to another level. I would use 3 words to describe this company: UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETENT LIARS.

Wasted 4 hours waiting, just to get ghosted, 2 days late, then charged $175 for a couple of hammer taps using my tools. Never again. I called and scheduled an appt for 12-4pm on Wed. Waited 4 hours - no show, no call no nothing. Called back Friday and told them. They apologized and said they would take $50 off, so I rescheduled. The guy showed up and I told him that the dishwasher was not draining and that I just put in the a new garbage disposal. He ask if a "poked out the block" and I said no. He didn't have any tools, so I brought my tool kit to him. He said, "all you have to do is take a screw driver and knock out the block - you can do it yourself if you want and I will just charge you for the service call". Then he picked up a screwdriver and hammer and tapped it 3 times and reconnected the hose. 3 minutes - $225 (-$50 for being 2 days late). I called the office since $175 seemed pretty steep for someone to use my tools and 3 minutes of work. They said they "don't make any money on my service call, so the cost stays at $175". They won't make any money from me ever again. They were on our condo's list of preferred vendors so I will share my experience with the condo assn. as well to have them removed for future business. Penny wise, pound foolish.

I called to have a shut off end placed on a copper refrigerator line (behind the refrigerator). The old end was cut off, and because it was copper I wanted to have a plumber put an end on to connect a new fridge. The worker, Jeremy, did not want to do this because he was worried about the condition of the old line, which was a legit concern. He suggest replacing the line with a pex line through a cabinet. It seemed like a good suggestion, and he would run it through only one cabinet. So he ran a quote. His first pass was $1,057! This is an hour job, with about $20 in material. After I nearly fainted from the quote, he gave me the "how much do you want to spend", and then came down about 30% to $700. When I said we will pass, he was clearly pissed off, and as he was leaving said " sure, take my idea and run with it." First, i was not going to do that, although it wasn't rocket science to do this. The guy's attitude was so poor and unprofessional I was amazed. I don't leave reviews, let alone a novel like this, but I have never came across someone so rude and unprofessional. He was trying to take advantage to a whole new level, but the rudeness was absolutely ridiculous.

We have 2 bathroom. Toilet A and toilet B. Toilet A has never had any issues. Toilet B had a clog yesterday called them out . They fixed it after 5 hours ,No problem with Plumber. But right afterwards bathroom A which always worked now is not working . I called to let someone know what happen . And the lady on the phone is justifying the fact that the plumber did not go into the main line wouldn't be the cause for bathroom A not to work. First of all this lady was not there , and besides from the snake another extended coil instrument that was much much longer was used. Called them to explain this and they weren't listening to understand. Even on the same day both bathrooms were check and it was confirmed that toilet A was working perfect with no issues. But after work was finish with toilet B it was a different story. I will not use this company again, but perhaps your experience will be different. Just know that if their work cause damage, the blame will immediately be shifted, justified and covered up and they will Also want more money to return for a job they damaged in the first place.

This company is not well managed and continues to prove it to me. About 10 months ago I executed a service contract with them for my daughter's condo a/c. When the tech came he damaged the ceiling access cover to the air handler. It took several Months but they finally reimbursed me for the cost of a handyman to repair/replace the access cover. I asked for a total reimbursement of my service contract as I would not have them come back. Instead, Jon, the a/c manager said he would send us a gift card. That never happened. Now I am continuing to get monthly statements indicating my account is past due. I have also received phone calls from them asking to schedule my plumbing inspection. Very strange as I never used them for plumbing. Each time they call I explain the situation and am told they will correct it. First time this happened I called Jon again who said he would fix it and was still going to send me a gift card. What a joke. Never happened and am still getting past due invoices. Be very careful if you choose to use this company.

I called to get a quote for plumbing issues with my bathtub. The young lady I spoke with was very nice and scheduled me for a next day appointment. I was offered a 4pm-6pm window for service and I made sure to mention that I did not get off work until 4pm. I was assured it would be okay as this information would be passed on to the person coming out. At 3:57 I see someone at my door on my Ring doorbell. I am getting calls and texts from the company that there's someone at my door despite me mentioned I don't leave work until 4pm. They rescheduled me for Saturday with an 8am-3pm window. Spend the day at home waiting on someone to arrive and nothing. Companies who aren't reliable and considerate of their (likely) consumers are the worst kind there are. Maybe someone else will have a good experience but this is mine. Don't recommend.

THEY WILL NOT SHOW UP. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE. We made an appointment with these people one week in advance to get a quote for our bathroom. They ensured us that we were first in line on a Monday morning, so I took the morning off and waited for them patiently. Around 10:30am they still had not showed up, so I gave them a call. Now we were second in line, and they would be there by 12pm. At 12:15pm, they still were not at my home, so I give them another call. Now the same lady (Susan) tells me that they cannot send anybody today and that we have to schedule for 3 days from now. Like plumbing issues are not URGENT. These people are unreliable. They will toy around with you and not show up to their appointments.

My daughter-in-law called for service on the AC unit when the engineer showed up, he unscrewed all the screws and unplugged the unit and proceeded to tell her that it would be 10,000 and up and needed to be replaced. I called the building and had the maintenance manager go up and check it after suctioning it out and pouring some bleach through the unit and replugging it in. It started up and worked just fine. Then they proceeded to try to charge them $400 for the service call. When my son spoke to the owner or manager, they waive the service fee. However, I would never trust these guys to come back into any unit in Nu river or Fort Lauderdale again. Very underhanded and trying to take advantage of a female.

I hate to do this. Because the technician was really kind. But as a company I felt big time scammed... They said no fee to dispatch a technician. That was true..... except when they get there they said it's going to be a "$275 diagnostics fee" or he won't even look at it. This is not what they said on the phone, they said it would be a free estimate. What the f-. I said "so it's $275 minimum to fix the issue regardless?" Yes. I ended up paying $350 to fix a shower that wasn't getting hot water. It took maybe 25 minutes. If I was told that up front, I wouldn't have scheduled with them. I would have called around. So buyer beware. Good reviews are throwing me off.....

Given that it's been incredibly difficult to obtain an email address or a callback I'm following up here regarding a pending refund that has been in "process" for 2 months. After our routine service created more issues, and 2 different techs returned to fix the issues created by the first tech and we were told to disregard the first assessment and that we would receive a refund of the unnecessary charges. There have been multiple calls to your office regarding the issue above and confirming that our refund would be done. It has now been 2 months and we still have not received our refund. Please respond as soon as possible.

Had an appointment in Parkland at 9am. I made it very clear that they needed to be here at 9am since I have work. They said no problem as it's the first appointment. No call, no text.......pathetic. UPDATE - gave them another chance. Appointment Saturday AM but they called and texted the wrong number even though they called me at my correct number to make the appointment? Of course, no show once again today! I told them they could come at 5pm and they called back a couple hours later but didn't leave a message. This company simply can't communicate........or show up!

Quoted me $1,400 to clean an AC coil located in the garage. Last AC company that cleaned it for me did it for around $650. They magically dropped the price to $975 so I wouldn't go with another company, but another company quoted me less. Nonetheless, the still charged me a fee to come give me an estimate. I'm never asking an AC company to come give me an estimate if they charge. They are just trying to avoid you shopping around for better prices. Paradise lost my business and that of my parents that have used them for their AC issues.

After reading so many good reviews about this place I was shocked about their customer service and price. Prior to even looking at my problem the technician gave me an astronomical cost for repair. How can you come up with a cost without even diagnosing the problem? As soon as he arrived he wanted to charge a $700 for a simple snaking of our a drain. He then proceeded to tell me that the prior two customers paid $800!I would never call this company again. The $200 Service charge is a scam. Beware!

Look elsewhere! Save yourself the headache: go online, find a company that offers free estimates, and avoid this business entirely. I scheduled an appointment with this company to check a bathroom pipe, but they completely failed to disclose that they charge a service fee just for the estimate. Many plumbing companies offer free estimates, so I was incredibly surprised and unhappy to see these unexpected charges on my bill. They should be upfront about their fees before sending someone out.

Made an appointment that no one showed up to. When I called to inquire, I was told there "was an issue" and no one would be showing up. Turns out they just messed up the schedule... I got an email from Ron Watson apologizing for the inconvenience and offering to have my vanity installed for free. When I called back to reschedule with Ron, I never received a call back and he never responded to my emails... they have very poor communication here and empty promises. Very disappointed

Scheduled an appointment for Saturday October 22nd.I was informed I would be their second appointment of the day and should arrive between 10-12 after their 9:00 appointment. Called at 11:00 to follow up and they said they would be at my home between 12-3. Called at 3:00 as no one had arrived and was told I was next. Nevertheless I received a call between 4-4:30 stating they are not coming. WASTED AN ENTIRE SATURDAY WAITING FOR THIS DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!!

Complete waste of time! Came to my house and gave me a quote for $1998.50. I had another gas guy do it for $640. Wanted to up sell, up sell, up sell. I already had gas in my attic. They wanted to completely re run the gas line form out side the house inside the garage down the wall. I told the estimated absolulely not. He said I needed a regulator with out looking out side to see that I already had one on the same line. The estimator was arrogant and angry.

Technician showed up two hours late and wanted $195.00 for 5 minutes worth of work that was eventually done by someone else. Though not as bad as Roto-*****r's estimate, seriously, an experienced person could have done this for $100.00 and I would have paid it. Attempting to charge me $195.00 for 5 minutes worth of work is ludicrous. I have an advanced degree,with 20+ years experience, and I don't charge that much money for my services.
